Alpha Eric was back to the Pack, but with a badly wounded patient.

A human!

The scent of his blood was so alluring that it perfumed the whole Pack. Prior to this, Charlotte's main concern was Alpha's worry. He was burning with anxiety and she was helpless to ease his agitation. She knew that her blood could heal that human but no one let her go anywhere especially near the hospital.

As Alpha was hell busy with his office work, there was no chance for her to talk to him. It was understandable that they wanted to save that human from her attack, but a vial of her blood could be used safely without including her direct indulgence in the whole process.

But No!

The entire week passed like that, Charlotte was so occupied with her savior's well being that she totally disregarded Sophia's plans. Her seemingly innocent accidents resulted in two times scolding from Luna, but Charlotte couldn't care less.

Tonight after her work, she decided to follow Alpha to the Pack's hospital. For her success, she borrowed Roslie clothes to mix up her scent. She was hoping that Alpha wouldn't notice that in his worry. This was the end of her patience, she wanted to see Eric happy as soon as possible.

With her fool proof plan, she succeeded in sneaking in the hospital. Her nose almost stopped working due to stench of the herbal medicines there.

'This hospital is so odoriferous right now and they think I will lose control due to human blood."

Charlotte was aghast at werewolves' double standards. Human were the food source for the vampires but logically speaking, do everyone lose control in super markets or restaurants due to the aroma of the delicious foods? Was the hunger of any other race rendered them crazy for killing? Then why the vampires were accused of this nonsense?

She located the VIP room of that human and peeped through the window (barging in through the main door was a stupid idea) and saw Alpha talking in fresh mode. She sighed in relief and stayed there to see Alpha's lost smile which she was missing from seven days. Nothing more was precious to her more than his happiness.

Suddenly, the happy atmosphere turned into chaos. Doctors after doctors started attending him, injecting different liquids. Soon, every monitor was beeping, indicating code blue. Charlotte was witnessing it as a routine procedure but when she saw Alpha's tears in impuissance, she couldn't bear it anymore.

She jumped in, breaking the window's glass, slashed her arm and pushed the doctor away who was disconnecting oxygen supply. She opened the patient's mouth forcefully and poured her blood in it. This all happened so instantaneously that no one was able to move or stop her.

Alpha was the first one to recover from the shock. He yelled out at her desperately,

'What is this, little one? Who allowed you to come here?"

Charlotte immediately bowed her head to explain,

'A sired friend is better than a dead one, Alpha!"

Alpha cooled down as her point was valid.

'Are you sure that it was before his last breath?"

What a relief! It was relaxing for Charlotte that Alpha was cool with her rash decision.

'I hope so that I was not late. You will know in the next ten minutes."

Alpha shooed whole staff outside, closing the doors shut for privacy. In less than ten minutes, Liam's eyes opened with a jerk. His red pupils were covering the white part of eyes too. Alpha held his hand,

'Liam! I am too glad that you are back buddy."

Some doctor delivered two bottles of plasma which Charlotte received carefully. Alpha was waiting for his best friend's response but he got up, completely ignoring him,

'Sire!"

This was the most bizarre situation for Alpha to see Liam kneeling before Charlotte.

'Thanks much for this life, Sire. I will stay loyal to you till my death."

'If that's so then why your actions are not assisting your words?"

Charlotte cold tone was way different than her gentle one, bearing a sense of authority. As Liam was a new one without much knowledge about vampire's traditions, he looked up, with a question in his eyes.

'You can be killed for your impudence, how dare you to look in the eyes of your Sire? Stretch you arms, palms facing upwards. Quick!"

Liam acted on her command at once, begging for mercy. Charlotte handed him a medicine cup of plasma which he drank greedily. His fangs immediately extended for more.

'Now, go to your bed and sleep."

He was not willing but still he went to his bed and slept in a second like a robot. Charlotte was placing bottles back to the table when Alpha shook her,

'What was that? Why Liam was not recognizing me anymore?"

She was sympathetic towards Alpha who had no clue of the rituals of human's transformation into a vampire.

Technically speaking, Alpha Eric should be familiar with different cultures as they teach history in Alpha's training. Reason behind this ignorance was out of Chloe's mind but she replied with great patience,

'He will remember everything soon. As for the reason behind it, his mind in the haze of my Venom. He needs some training to adjust in his new life. Don't worry, he will be perfectly normal as a sired vampire."
