Charlotte was still taking it as a dream. She came back to reality when slushy softness gently grazed over her lips. Her heart beat hitched, she opened her eyes to see a magnified view of Alpha silver eyes.

'Alpha's eyes are exceptional, he can be the only one with slits instead of pupils in human form."

She was busy in observing his features when his lips moved, initiating something that was so foreign for her. Watching someone kissing and experiencing it in person was so much different, this phenomena finally settled in her mind. He was literally waiting for her 'Yes" to continue, but Charlotte's breath caught in her throat at the thought of disappointment in those charming eyes. She could endure his anger but not this!

'I will die rather than seeing his disgust."

With a new found determination, she put her hands on his chest,

'I don't think this is a good idea, Alpha. I want to leave."

Well, this was the first time that his approach got rejected, Alpha couldn't let it slip without knowing the reason of this refusal.

As he was getting more and more perturbed, Finally, Charlotte let the cat out of the bag.

Liam was dumbfounded. He went to hug Charlotte but she stopped him,

This gave him a perfect opportunity to tease her. Liam tailed her rest of the day, asking stupid questions and posing double meaning comments. Charlotte has to order him to shut this nonsense. Her flushed face was hard to ignore and his untimely commentary was increasing her awkwardness.

After that night, Luna's attitude also changed towards Charlotte, she started treating her more benovently. As for Sophia, her mysterious smile was provoking, as she was signaling about a greater plan.

Charlotte was oblivious of political games, so she continued her job and her love life happily, jerking off all the bad feelings that arose due to Sophia's extra sweet behavior.

'You can leave for two days; otherwise, I will come to fetch you back and trust me, you will not like that."
