Wandering in the whole Pack, Liam was searching for Rory, whom he didn't see from the previous two days.

He bought a plane ticket for Rick and sent him off, happy news of Eric's victory welcomed him back. He wanted to congratulate them but leaving it to some other day, he went to his home and found it empty.

Cherry on top, no one in the Pack was aware of Rory's whereabouts, which was strange. At last, he went to see Jason at work as he was busy in supplying the bricks from the storage to the construction site, regardless of Pack's celebration.

'Where is Rory? Have you seen her?"

Liam's worried tone confused him, Jason put down the pile of bricks and asked.

'Didn't you hear about her mysterious death?"

Struck by a thousand volt current, Liam was frozen to his spot, his whole world crumbled down in a heart beat.

'It, It's impossible."

He stepped back and denied the reality.

'The head warrior found her dead body in the forest. I have heard that she was the one to poison Alpha Eric.

Gamma Mathew has found out that Rosy was a spy of the Vampire King."

Jason repeated all the gossips in the Pack to Liam and resumed his work like nothing happened before.

On the contrary, Liam was under the impact of the hail-storm of betrayal.

Ten years!

Ten years of a loyal relationship, and what did he get?

Only back-stabbing and disloyalty!

As his mind was blank with agony, he turned and sprinted into the deep forest, mourning over his first heartbreak.

Arranging all the necessary items for the feast, Gamma Mathew felt a wave of energy, indicating that their Luna had been marked.

Just like his Pack mates, he bared his neck and howled excitedly, happiness prevailed in the whole Silver Moon Pack.

The Moon Goddess had blessed the Pack with every bounty possible expect a Luna, but now, this problem was solved too.

The head Priest specially arranged a prayer ceremony to thank the Moon Goddess, her benevolence had shown them this day.

Ordering omegas for efficient working, Mathew's mind drifted towards Jason, his lips stretched in a cute smile.

'Silly boy!"

He grabbed a blood bag from the kitchen and went to the construction site, where he appointed him to work.

Call this a coincidence or Jason's bad luck, Gamma Mathew heard his blabbering about Rory and witnessed Liam's sufferings in person. His head blew out, and he pounced at Jason, tackling him to the ground.

'Where is your reasoning, Jason? After living so long, still you don't have any speck of empathy in your heart.

You have disappointed me, Jason."

At first, Jason was startled by this onslaught, it took him a moment to compose himself. Moreover, the strong pinewood scent of Mathew was annoying him, causing a headache.

He mustered up his courage and rolled over, Mathew was beneath him.

'I have lived long that's why I know the enormous strain of being in the dark.

Sir Liam had to face the reality at some point in his life. Why not today?"

His reasoning enraged Mathew, he banged Jason on the ground and grasped his neck.

'What truth? There could be many excuses to divert his attention. This calamity could be avoided, but no, you ruined everything."

Mathew pressed Jason's neck, obstructing his airways. Struggling to break his hold, Jason kicked in his nuts, using this chance to slip away.

'Matters of living and dead are quite different, Gamma Mathew Aaron. Every single emotion you feel in life becomes ten folds more intense after being a sired vampire.

Love and hate can be a game for you, but not for us. Sir Liam deserved the truth and I have told him. That's it!"

Panting hard on the ground, Mathew raised his head and Jason panicked at his black eyes and extended his canines, making him fearful for his life.

His eyes darted from one place to another for a weapon of some kind, he knew that warding off an offended werewolf wasn't a child's play.

As Mathew was already stalking towards him dangerously, Jason picked up a brick from the ground and aimed at him.

'Stay where you are. I, I will complain to my Sire."

In this dire situation, he remembered his tried and tested method of using Charlotte's name, but Mathew appeared unfazed.

He snatched that brick from his hand and threw it on the ground, Jason jumped at the sound of it.

'Do you know what a werewolf bite can do to a sired vampire?"

Mathew twisted his arm on his back and pulled Jason closer. He gulped hard as Mathew's pointed teeth grazed over his neck.

'I, I can die on the spot due to werewolf's venom."

Like a nursery kid, he answered that angry wolf.

'Good boy!"

Mathew closed his eyes and pushed his wolf back, who was urging to bite Jason.

'All your genuine reasoning aside, when you are asked to keep your mouth shut, you should do it.

This is a werewolf Pack, adjust your little mind to the rules of living beings.

It's my last warning to you, Jason. Otherwise, I know countless methods to seal your mouth."

Satisfied by the horror of the Jason's face, Matthew jerked him away and turned,

'This is your share in the celebration. Congratulations, your Sire is our Luna now."

Gasping for breath, Jason inspected his red arm and then extra large blood bag and scowled at him defiantly.

'Double faced, dog. Why is he so domineering?"

Anyhow, he enjoyed his gift and even completed his work early, using this time to spend with his new friend Orion.

Orion was a young omega boy who met him in the store room duty before, his only source of Pack's gossips.

'Alpha Eric didn't come out for dinner, everyone was laughing at his impatience. Luna was saying that he might not come out in a week."

Hot news in the Pack members didn't intrigue him, Jason inquired chattering Orion.

'What is the punishment of telling the Pack's secrets to some outsiders?"

As Mathew's first order clearly stated that Rory's death was a Pack's secret, Jason asked Orion to ease his mind. Hearing his question, Orion's face blanched with fright, he looked at him wide-eyed.

'Are you kidding me, Jason?"

He drew a horizontal line over his neck.

'Pack's secrets are safeguarded with life. In case of any mistake, one has to lose his/her neck."

'Death penalty?"

Jason was taken aback by the strict Pack rules. He tried to pay attention to Orion's extra information about this absurdity.

'Have you seen Rory's dead body? I have heard that she was killed with werewolf venom.

Likewise, werewolves are punished with wolfs-bane venom, or simply they would be beheaded in public.

Not to mention the shame and hatred of the public."

Orion was going on and on like a radio broadcast but Jason's mind was stuck on Mathew. He got angry at him but still, there was no punishment despite being caught red-handed.

His eyes stilled at the empty blood bag, something stirred deep in his frozen heart.

'Why is Mathew so kind towards me?"
