After ravaging Ramla's body to his heart's content, Julian pulled out of her abruptly and kicked her from his bed.

'I am not interested in your trickery, witch. Get out of my house. I don't have any connection with you."


He collected the pieces of her night gown and stuffed her mouth with them.

'Don't you dare say this hideous mate-bond thing to anyone. Otherwise, you will not see the next sunrise in one piece."

Ramla yelped in pain, as he pulled her hair, uprooting them from her scalp and dragged her out, closing the door on her face.


'What's my fault?"

Looking at the morning sun with blurry eyes, she conjured a dress to cover her injured body, burning claw wounds made her forget the pain below her waistline.


'Ouch!"

She leaned against the wall to stand up, as people were going out for their life business, but she couldn't feel her legs. Closing her eyes to harness the energy of mother nature, she took a deep breath in the freshness of the morning wind, the healing essence of the Earth took a quick action. In a blink of an eye, her wounds started healing.

Witnessing that magic from the window, Julian's eyebrows arched in disdain, he spat out his resentment.

'Witches and their treacherous desires! I am not a fool to fall for your dirty tricks, mutt."

As Eric opened his veins for free use, Charlotte recovered miraculously, getting out of bed without anyone's help was the biggest milestone for her.

'It's so nice to see you like this, my dear. My old bones are inadequate for these Pack affairs. Come and take your responsibilities as Luna of the Silver Moon Pack."

She kissed her forehead and handed her the keys of the Pack house, Charlotte wondered that if her mother-in-law had a serious head injury in the previous battle.

'We will celebrate Luna Charlotte's health. This Pack is in dire need of happiness. The Moon Goddess has blessed our Luna with health, which is a sign of her compassion. Start preparations now."

As Lily was getting more and more emotional, Charlotte's eyes darted from one corner to another for Alpha, who was nowhere to be seen.

According to the vampire traditions, Charlotte placed white roses and poured her venom over them, praying for her sire's soul. This simple ritual was necessary for the sired vampires to cross the bridge of dead, finding solace in the afterlife.

A gust of cold wind sent shivers down their spines, Charlotte smiled while crying.

The atmosphere became normal after a split second, but Eric's nose was twitching, as if he was trying to scent something.

Amy's heart calmed down by Charlotte's explanation, then Alpha's accusation made her worry for her life.

His Alpha tone boomed in the silence of the graveyard, he stood at Liam's head and showed Amy to him.

Amy's hand flew to her face, she clasped it on her mouth to muffle a scream.

She placed her other hand on her lower belly carefully, tears falling from her eyes.

I am going to be a mother. Liam is the father of my child."

Repeating that last line like a lifesaving spell, she hugged Charlotte again and cleaned her face.

'I am a mother now, Luna."

Charlotte rubbed her hand on her back, drawing soothing circles on it. It was a surprise for her that an Alpha could sense the presence of an unborn member of his Pack.

'You have to take care of yourself. A tiny soul is solely dependent on you, Amy. From now on, please live for your child."
