While we were eating our pizza I accidentally got sauce on my face which Charlotte laughed at before she grabbed a napkin and wiped it away.

The same thing happened while we were eating s'mores, I accidentally smeared chocolate on the corner of my lip. She wiped it away with a smile before we both continued to eat in silence.


Both times I felt a tingling sensation wherever her fingers touched.

We're currently admiring the stars and talking about random topics.

"Describe what you would look for in a significant other" I say since she's never told me anything about what she looks for in a person


"She would be beautiful, but smart. She'd be kind and gentle" she says as she continues to stare up at the sky

"She would be able to comfort me during my bad times" she says in a whisper but I hear it which causes me to look her in the eyes


"Do you have your eyes set on anyone?" I ask since she seems very distant

"Maybe" She says as she looks at me with a smile which causes me to look at her closely

Why do I feel a little saddened by this information?

I should feel happy for her.

She likes someone so much that she can see herself having a future with them.

I'm happy for her.

"I'm happy for you" I say with a small smile

"Do I know this special someone?" I ask which causes her to roll her eyes as she look up at the sky again

"Yes, you do" she says simply

I decide to not ask anymore why since she doesn't seem in the mood for it. I look up at the sky and smile.
