Ascian's wolf got off Seamus's body wanting a fair fight, he wanted to kill Seamus with a fight. There were already people looking at them and every single man and woman knew who's going to win the fight.

No one could fight Ascian, even if they fought they failed to take the victory with them. Ascian was the highest ranked alpha. And no one dared to offend him. Letting out a growl, Ascian's wolf watched the way Seamus shifted to his wolf.


Seamus's wolf ran towards Ascian and pounded into him but Ascian just simply dodged him and bit his back as Seamus cried from pain. Gazing at Ahren who was looking at him with a proud and happy look he unintentionally smiled before ripping Seamus's head off his body and threw it towards the pack members of him.

Ascian growled with victory and slowly walked towards Ahren before taking him onto his back. Then he ran from the pack. He didn't want to spend a second there because his mind was with Mirela. After hearing what Ahren said, he wanted to see her as soon as possible.

Feeling Ahren clutching his fur his wolf wiggled his tail. His wolf was satisfied with everything after finding Ahren. He didn't bother Ascian much like before. He just stayed calm but Ascian could feel that he was suffering from something which he didn't show.


Ever since he had sex with Mirela, his wolf was somewhat strange. Even if he was satisfied with everything after finding his pup. He was somewhat lost, Ascian didn't know what it was and his wolf also didn't know what was happening with Mirela.

Taking Ahren back to his pack, he gave him to a warrior and changed into clothes as he strode to the hospital. He stopped in front of a room and looked into it through the glass window of the door. His heart tightened seeing Mirela laying on the hospital bed with a oxygen mask on her face and so many lines were connected to her body.


"Alpha.."

Hearing a man's voice, he looked back and saw he was the best doctor in his pack. With a small nod, Ascian again looked at Mirela as he entered the room. Walking towards her, he clenched his fists. Her face was pale, and her neck was bandaged.

"There's a deep cut in her neck, Alpha, I did my best," the doctor said.

Then he nodded at the doctor and sighed looking at Mirela. Reaching his hand he slowly touched her pale hand and waited for a while. She was getting cold. For the first time of his life, he felt fear, fear of losing her forever. Even though he lost her, he knew she was living somewhere but this time it was totally different.

"How many days will it take to heal her?" Ascian asked.

Then the doctor looked at him and shook his head with a strange expression. Ascian raised his brows and patiently waited for the doctor to speak. Then his heart shook violently hearing what the doctor said.

"She cannot heal alpha, her wolf was no longer in her body. She's just nothing but similar to a human now"

A shudder ran through his body hearing the doctor, he looked at Mirela who was laying on the bed as if she was already dead. His eyes turned red, her wolf? No longer in her body? Hearing the doctor's statement his wolf howled from agony.

So this is why his wolf was upset? Ascian was both helpless and scared. He didn't know how her gorgeous wolf left her body or what happened to her. His mind kept repeating what she said to him a few days ago.

"Ascian.. If you do this I won't be healed."

His mind kept repeating every word, she said that day when he put silver leg cuffs to her but yet she ran away. He was guilty, guilty was eating him alive looking at her weak profile. He took a deep breath and looked at the doctor again.

"Why is her wolf not with her?"

That was the question he had, he wanted to know why and what happened to her exactly. He never expected something like this and never expected her wolf to leave her body. Losing a wolf means just nothing but death.

"We cannot say that her wolf was completely gone from her body because she's still alive. But maybe due to a heartbreak an unexpected moment could make a wolf like this"

Ascian froze, he felt he was just hit by an ice cold water bucket. His heart was hurting him, he didn't want to think anymore. There was something inside of his mind, a reason for her current situation but he forced him not to think that. He didn't want to think he was the reason for this.

"She had spent years without her wolf, as I examined her body I found that she was used to it"

Ascian nodded at the doctor and left the room not wanting to hear anymore. What the fuck had happened to her? And what the fuck did he do to her? His mind was reminding him how gorgeous her wolf was and how cute she was.

Wiggling her tail at him and pounding onto his body, she loved to play with his wolf. She was snow white, because of her beauty his wolf wanted nothing but dirt her with mud and make her similar to his color but now everything was gone.

He has no idea when he can see her wolf after knowing what has happened to her. If her wolf died… Mirela will also leave with her. His heart was aching with all those thoughts, he didn't want her to die.

He walked into his house and saw Ahren was waiting for him sitting on the sofa obediently while watching his beta.

"Daddy.."

His eyes fell on Ascian and he immediately got up from the sofa as he ran towards Ascian. Then he picked him up and smiled. Caressing his little face he forced the pain inside of his heart back. He was not like this before,

Every time Mirela came into his life, she just made him weak. He was weak not and it was because of her but looking at her status he could not say a word because she had suffered more than that and she had even given birth to his son without hesitation.

"Have you seen Momma's wolf Ahren?" he asked.

Then Ahren shook his head and smiled at him, wrapping his arms around his neck. Ascian's mind was in daze, and couldn't think anything properly.

"Momma said she cannot take her wolf to show me but uncle Hale took me rides on his wolf but he was not as strong as you daddy. I love daddy's wolf."

Ascian subconsciously smiled at Ahren and nodded. She couldn't take her wolf to show him. Does that mean that she lost her wolf because of his rejection? Or because of everything that had happened to her family?
