While they were watching the fights between warriors, Ascian looked at Mirela who had a serious look on her. Thinking that she was in a problem he moved closer to her and spoke.

"What's wrong?" he asked as she looked at him and shook her head with a smile on her face. Then she moved closer to him and kissed his cheek.


"I'll go out and come in a while. Is it okay?" she asked. As soon as he heard that, he just simply shook his head and looked into her blue eyes. He didn't feel like letting her go out alone. Looking at Ahren who was watching the fights, he sighed.

"Wait for me. Let's go out after a while" he said. Then she sighed and nodded at him as she looked at her surroundings. Ascian looked away from Mirela and started to explain to Ahren every movement the warriors used to fight with their opponent so he didn't have the time to pay attention to Mirela. After Ahren got bored of watching, Ascian turned his head to look at Mirela but she was nowhere to be seen.

His heart clenched, he immediately got up from his seat and looked everywhere but he failed to find her. His heart was beating fast, he felt danger. Ignoring everything, he just strode out of the hall taking Ahren's hand. As he came out, he impatiently looked for her but he couldn't find her. His heart shook violently. He didn't know what to do and where she was.


"Mirela?" He walked towards the ground where kids were playing. He thought she would be there but to his disappointment she was not there either. He was scared, he didn't want to let her stay alone for a minute if it was not their house. Then he turned to leave.

"Alpha!" hearing a little girl's voice, he stopped and looked back at the little girl who was around Ahren's age. He smiled seeing how pretty she was, his heart was really covered with the desire to have a daughter seeing her little adorable smile.


"Yes?" he spoke. Then she giggled and looked at the path which led everyone to the old pack house.

"The pretty lady who went there is our Luna?" hearing her, Ascian sighed in relief. Then he smiled at the little girl.

"You saw her?" he asked. Then she pointed her finger towards the path and nodded at Ascian.

"Wearing a long frock?" he asked her again wanting to confirm it's Mirela. Then the little girl nodded at Ascian with a bright smile on her face. Ascian patted her head and smiled.

"Yes, she's your luna. Go home now, don't walk alone" telling the girl, he walked towards Ahren where the little girl pointed. Then as he went there, he smiled seeing Mirela who was looking at a lily flower which she had plucked from the plant.

"Why did you leave Mirela? I asked you to wait" walking towards her, he frowned at her wanting to show her that he's angry at her. Then she immediately looked at him and bit her lower lip, then jogged towards him with a smile.

"Just wanted to come out" pecking on his lips, she muttered. Ascian was somewhat taken back because of her sudden playfulness but ignoring it, he kissed her forehead and sighed because she's here with him. He was scared thinking that something had happened to her.

"Momma, carry me" Ahren looked up at Mirela and giggled. Then she immediately looked at Ahren, but her eyes changed seeing him. The smile she always had when she saw Ahren was not there. Ascian didn't miss the expression she had on her face, he frowned looking at her.

"I'm tired now. I'll carry you later" she smiled at him and then wrapped her arm around Ascian's as she looked at him with a bright smile. He watched her face for a while and smiled. Then he looked at Ahren who was looking at Mirela with sad eyes.

"Let daddy carry you my alpha" wanting to comfort Ahren, he immediately picked him up and kissed his cheek. Then he giggled, wrapping his little arms around his neck. With a smile, Ascian looked at Mirela. She was looking at Ahren with weird eyes and then seeing him looking at her she immediately smiled and caressed Ahren's face.

"Let's go!" he said, wrapping his arm around her waist. While walking, he lowered her eyes and looked at Mirela. She looked so happy, it was like three years ago when they were together. He didn't understand why she was so happy suddenly but seeing her happiness filled face, he smiled.

Coming to the house, Ascian took Ahren to his room and then entered the washroom wanting to wash him. After cleaning him, Ascian came out of Ahren's room after giving a book to read to Ahren. As he came out, he saw Mirela was waiting for him. Then she came to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"You're going again?" she asked him. Then looking at her for a while, he shook his head. He really didn't feel like going because he felt that he should be with Ahren without going anywhere.

"That's great! Let's spend time together." she smiled and kissed his jaw. Then she looked at his lips and moved her face to kiss him, but he stopped her and sighed. He didn't know but he felt weird.

"Ascian, take me out for dinner?" she asked. Ascian chuckled and nodded as he looked back at Ahren's room. Then he sighed and wrapped his arm around her waist, taking her to their room.

"Why are you so clingy today?" he asked, pressing her against the wall in their room. Parting her lips seductively, she placed her both hands on his abdomen making Ascian clenched his jaws.

"You don't like it?" she whispered against his ear. A smirk appeared on Ascian's face and he moved away from him but she caught his arm and bit her lower lip.

"I want it Ascian." she muttered.

"Want what?" raising his brows, he asked. Then she moved closer to him and touched his body seductively.

"Fuck me!" she whispered seductively, making his mind go wild. A chuckle escaped from him as he looked at her. Then he lowered his eyes and looked at her body. He wanted to get hard to fuck her but he didn't know why he couldn't get hard looking at her body.

"Later! I have some things to do" he said, kissing her forehead. Then her face grew dark. She sighed and groaned, pushing him away from her dramatically. Seeing her reaction, he couldn't help but smile.

"We still have the night time" grabbing her from her waist, he bit her earlobe and said. Mirela moaned and looked at him as he did that. He couldn't believe that she moaned when he bit her earlobe. She was someone who always forced her moans back but today she was changed and he somewhat liked her difference.

She was acting strangely just to make him comfortable and happy, he knew it. He sighed looking at her and then kissed her forehead again. Then he walked out of the room and went to his study room. Taking the files he wanted to work with, he started to read every detail about everything which he had to finish. Doing his things, he looked at the time as he saw it was almost lunch time. He needed to wake up Ahren because he knew that Ahren must be sleeping but he didn't go thinking that Mirela would wake him up for lunch.
