As I fell, I could feel myself slowly falling into a black space, blurrily, I could see Axel's face, and I heard his voice as he was telling me to stay with him.


I turned back and saw I was nearing the floor, fearing I would fall and break a spine. I closed my eyes and strong arms caught me. Slowly opening them, I was about to say thank you to Axel but Kael's smiling face was the first thing I saw.


Frightened, furious, and cold, I tried to come down from his arms but he held me, I tugged at his arms and he didn't even bugged a bit.


'Kael put me down," I said looking at him pouting my lips in anger.


"No, love. If I do then you would break a bone and that's the last thing I want," Kael replied smiling.

'I'm cold," I said shivering and he cursed and snapped his finger. Immediately a hoodie was on me . It didn't stop the cold but it was more tolerable than before.

'Are you feeling warm now?" He asked, looking at me worriedly.

'No, thank you." He smiled and I noticed he has very handsome features, his eyes were of the color onyx.

'It seems you enjoy looking at my face, I enjoy being stared at by you but we have some important things to do," he said smirking as I felt embarrassed for staring at him so much when knew I Axel was even more handsome than him, it's just that I felt a pull tugging me to him.

As if he could read my thoughts, he smiled and bent. 'It's the other half mate pull, no need to feel embarrassed, I understand, and Axel would understand too," he whispered in my ears.

"What am I doing here?" I asked looking around and all I saw was icebergs

Realizing I was still in his arms, I felt conscious of my weight and I blushed in embarrassment.

' Kael, put me down."

"But I can carry you, you don't weigh anything. It seems Axel hasn't been taking care of you properly, but what else do I expect from those dogs," he snorted.

'He takes care of me very well, and I have weight. It's just that you are like Axel, you both have extraordinary strength. And Kael can you please put me down?" I said frowning.

'If that's what you want, but I still want to hold you more," he said as he put me down gently. My feet came in contact with the cold grass, and I jumped, earning a chuckle from Kael.

"Cold right? Maybe you should have stayed in my arms. Come let me carry you over here," he said as he carried me before I could protest.

He took me inside a very beautiful mansion just like Axel's, it seems supernatural forces love their house to be beautiful like them.

'You like it," he said rather than asking, because I'm sure he knows his house is very beautiful and noble, who wouldn't like it. I rolled my eyes and he smiled nervously.

'I am sorry if that offended you, I was just trying to ease your tension." He ruffled his hair like a nervous teenage boy. I smiled to myself.

'It's actually beautiful, and you know that."

"Yeah!"

"What am I doing here? I want to go back to Axel." He hissed at the mention of Axel, seems he would be hissing a lot now because I will keep mentioning his name.

"You can't," he said gently, trying to hold my hand while I snapped it away from him.

"How and why?" I frowned.

"You were hit by the book in the library." He thought that would explain everything to me.

'That doesn't make sense."

"Oh, you can't go back because the book trapped you inside here with me." I gasped and stepped back in shock, so I would never see Axel's handsome face, his warm cuddles, and his hands that would never leave my body.

"What? Why? Noo, I want to go back," I said with tears flowing down my eyes. He looked at me with hurt gleaming in his eyes.

'Take me home this instant, Keal!" I screamed. Keal closed his eyes at the loudness of my voice, and he started coming closer to me when I stepped back.

"Don't you dare touch me," I said as I began running away, and ignoring his calls.

Before I could run some distance, he was already in my front, I screamed and turned to another direction and soon he was in my front again.

'Stop following me, Keal, I want to go since you don't want to take me back," I said, my chest heaving.

'You can't leave here on your own, so stop stressing yourself, I'm the only one that can take you back, and I won't," he said angrily. I was shocked this was the first time he was raising his voice at me despite all the tantrums I have thrown at him. I whined and his facial features softened and he held me to his chest and I pushed him back.

'Don't touch me, this is why I don't want to come with you, you are a monster, I will never choose you over Axel. You know what? He had never raised his voice at me despite all I have done." I spat disgustedly.

I began walking away from a dumbfounded and hurt Kael, he called my name and I ignored him.

He came and pulled me to his chest, and I sobbed.

'I'm sorry for raising my voice at you, I was hurt that you wanted to leave me for him," he apologized, and I didn't know why, but all my anger diminished.

'I'm still angry, but I don't know why I'm not annoyed at you anymore though I want to," I said, pouting my lips. He chuckled and patted my hair.

"It's the mate pull, I'm your mate, even though the effect is half and not with the full bond intensity.
