KAEL P.O.V


She tilted my head and looked at me, I smiled down at her.

'You understand what we are now right?" I asked

'Axel explained but I still don't understand why the Moon Goddess allowed that to happen," she said, feeling bad for me because she's going to choose Axel over me. Yes I can read her thoughts, I know I'm not supposed to do that but I was just curious.



'I don't know but she knows best," I said and smiled sadly, she looked at me in surprise.



'So vampires have respects for her?" She asked and I was taken back by the question, what has that annoying dog said to her.

'Which supernatural being doesn't? the werewolves just make it look like she's theirs, those peasky annoying dogs." She looked at me in anger and I knew it was because I called her kind annoying. Here comes the drama.

"Peasky dogs? So I'm annoying and dirty?" She was struggling to remove herself from my hold. I laughed.

'I am sorry mate, but you weren't included when I said that and I didn't say they were dirty, I only said they were annoying," I said, calming my laughter while trying to pacify her.

"I am really sorry love, do you forgive me?" I added.

'Only if you take me back," she said, and I groaned.

'Except that, I will do any other thing you wish for," I replied, frowning.

'Fine." She looked around and saw it was day and she was surprised.

"Why is it day here already?"

'Time here is different love, you won't understand if I try to explain."

'So, I'm dumb?"

'No, you are not, it's just too complex for a werewolf to understand, now come in we have been standing here for a long time," I said, leading her inside the mansion.

Walking down the hallway I could tell she was amazed by the architecture, I smiled proudly, good thing my mate loves it else I would have pulled it down and mend it to her taste.

'Your house is beautiful just like Axel's," she said, and I hissed at the mention of the man that wants to take her away.

'Love, please stop calling his name whenever we are together," I said gently.

'Fine," was all she said.

"Hey Draculola," my annoying brother Stacy said, and I groaned. He is going to embarrass me for sure. Vanessa looked at me then back at him surprised.

'Oh, you are not a vampire, then why are you beautiful as one?" He asked, smiling and Vanessa blushed. I felt jealous but I remembered Stacy would never do something stupid with my mate, he is only being his annoying self.

'No, I am not, I am a werewolf," she replied.

"Oh sorry, Mi Amor, my bad, my name is Stacy, the younger brother to this gloomy man, what's your name beautiful?" He inquired smiling one of his million dollar smiles while bringing out his hand for a handshake since he knows I would not allow him hug her.

"Vanessa," she replied, smiling back at him and taking his hands. Then she pulled her hand back. I looked at her hand worriedly.

'What's wrong, Love?" I asked, and Stacy looked at her in fear because he knew I would kill him if he does anything to her.

"I didn't do anything to her, I promise."

Vanessa started laughing and I looked in surprise, did she hit her head somewhere.

'I'm joking, I wish you both could see your face, very funny," she said laughing nervously.

Stacy started laughing.

'Very funny, your mate is cool, I like her already," Stacy said, he held her and pulled her to the dinning room.

Vanessa laughed and followed him, my brother always has a way to make people like him.

I growled at him and he smiled at me angering me the more.

'Stacy leave her hand now!" I ordered, fuming.

"Sorry, but I will not, she's my sister-in-law, and I have the right to hold her, right sister-in-law," he said, rather than asking, and Vanessa nodded laughing.


I could see they were bent on making me very annoyed. I went forward and pulled her hand from his, and made way for the dining room.

I sat down at the head of the table and Vanessa sat beside me, Stacy sat beside her. I looked at him with disgust.

'Vanessa do you want to know some of Kael's embarrassing deeds?"

"Yes," she said excitedly.

"Enough Stacy, where's your table manner? You don't talk while eating, you are a man and you still behave like a child," I told him to silence him even if it's for a second.

"But you are talking now, Kael," he said, and Vanessa burst into laugher. I never knew she coukd laugh this much. It seems I will be keeping Stacy around to make our conversation more lightly.

'You both are even now," Vanessa said, and I smiled at her.

'She's talking and you're smiling at her like she had something very good, you are being unfair to your poor brother." Stacy teased.

"That's because there's a huge difference between you and her, she's my mate and you are my brither, two different relationships oh dear brother," I said sarcastically.

After lunch, I asked Stacy to go back to his duties which he did grumpy.

And I started showing Vanessa around.

'The design is similar to the one in Axel's mansion," she said


"Vanessa, please stop calling his name whenever we are…" I was saying when I got interrupted by a loud thud.

"I'm coming, let me check the source of that noise," I said, making to move to the source of the noise.

'You can't leave me here all alone in a place I don't know," she said, scared but I know I shouldn't take her there.

'You will be fine." I walked over there angry at the intruder because I was sure someone was there.

Suddenly I was struck down by something magical.
