'If you think you would come and take what belobgs to me then you must be the biggest joker in the entire world. I will never allow that happen. He's mine and the Luna title was mine and mine alone.


I have worked for this all my life, I even rejected my mate for the crown and I can't let any one ruin it for me," the figure hiding behind the column said as it moved away before it would be seen by anyone.

The day of my coronation ceremony, I was scared and surprised. Axel hasn't found out that I'm a human, so his uncle hasn't told him yet.



After I got dressed up by the maids, I looked at myself in the mirror, I was beautiful.

Emily walked in and she was smiling profusely at me. I wondered what was wrong.


'Today you move from a concubine to a Luna right?"

"Yes," I said smiling.

"You look very beautiful, Vanessa," she said smiling.

'Thank you," I said, and she laughed.

'I can't believe my best friend is finally the Luna, I'm so happy for you."


"Thank you Emily, you are the only true friend I have here."

We chatted as the makeup artist continued my makeup

Axel held my hand and we walked to the hall where the coronation ceremony would take place.


'What are you doing here, you don't deserve to be on the throne," Jason said deliberately to scare me, and embarrass Axel.

'No," I said, and he raised his brows at me looking at me like I had gone mad. Then he gave me a ‘I know your secrets,' I looked away. I couldn't leave until I was done with my mission.

'Jason, stop...this…nonsense act of yours and sit the fuck down," Axel growled.

'Vanessa or whatever you call yourself, you don't deserve the throne because you are just a mere..." he stopped, and my heart flew out of its cage.

'She is just a mere what?" Phil asked

"Because she's a mere concubine and not his mate," he said as Axel flung him to the wall angrily, he groaned and smiled looking at me, his uncle sat down immediately after that with a smile on his face.

I was freaking out already and I refused to look at him to avoid making myself more nervous than how I was now.

'Don't listen to him, you are the right choice for the throne and I don't care if they accept you or not, I Axel listens to nobody and no one will tell me what to do in my own pack," he said growling. I smiled weakly as he held my hand moving to the throne's room.

When I was supposed to be crowned Luna, the crowd started mumbling and Axel turned towards them.


'Quiet, have you all forgotten your manners? How dare you do that in the presence of the Alpha, and in his ceremony? Care to tell what's the cause of the uproar?" Damian asked angrily

'She's a human," one voice said.

"How dare you say that about your soon-to-be Luna?" My whole world came crumbling down at my feet, I looked at Jason, and he was also surprised. Sneaky liar.

'Don't mind them Pumpkin, I know you didn't lie to me."

'She is," a man in black cloak said. I turned towards him, who was he and what would he gain by spoiling what I and Axel had?

'Ask her to dip her hand into a bowl of sacred water, if nothing happens to her ,then she's a human," he said, and I could feel the smile on his face as he did so.

"I believe you Vanessa, but you have to do it so I can have the bearing If I sentence them all to death for spoiling your image," Axel said, he trusted me and all I ever did was lie to him.

'No I don't," I said shaking my head. Axel smiled.

"I know, but you have to prove to them that you are one of us to make them give you all their respect and loyalty," he said gently.

" No."

"That shows she is a human, and I have proof." Immediately a big screen came out and a DNA sample was sampled there. I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that's my DNA.

"That's her DNA, and as you can see, it has human components unlike ours." The whole crowd gasped. Axel walked back with shock in his eyes, I tried holding his arms but he flung it away.

'So you were deceiving me all this time and…"

'I can explain Axel, just listen to me."

"So that you can fill me with more lies right? I'm done listening to you. I want you out of here, my pack and anywhere 1000 miles close to me, I don't want anything to do with you anymore," Axel said angrily, turning to leave when I tried holding his arms.

"Don't you ever touch my arms like you have the right to do so. If you had told me this on your own, I would have understood but you decided to go on lying to me all this while. I regret meeting you," he said, pulling his hand and left.

'Axel…" I screamed.

Turning away, the whole pack had left but his uncle was still sitting there looking at me with pity; when he was the one that spread the information to everybody. Dirty sneaky liar.


'I know you have gotten what you want right? I begged you not to tell him," I cried.

"I know I threatened to tell him, but I didn't, someone else knew you were a human, Vanessa," he said, and I looked at him. Only he and Emily does, and she would never do that to me. She's my best friend.

'Nobody does except you, thank you for ruining my life. Monster," I said as I walked away to take my things and leave before Axel killed me with his bare hands.
