I walked back to the palace more stressed than I was when I left.


The soldier walked past me with Ryan on his shoulder. He was still unconscious and mere looking at his face made me annoyed and I felt like hitting him to death but I needed some information before he would face his death sentence.

I went to the cell he was kept in, and he was awake by now. He was very frightened when he saw me. Good, that's the effect I loved on my victims.

'Where were we? Oh you haven't told me who sent you?" He was trying to act tough. I rolled my eyes and was very pissed. The prison warden came close to him and poured hot water on his feet and he screamed out loudly.


'I hate you so much. I wish you would just die!" He screamed out in pain.

'Now, are you ready to tell me who sent you? I don't even want to ask you again because I have been too lenient with you."


'I can't tell you. I took an oath with a poison that would kill me if I tell anybody who sent me and our plan." He admitted.

"That's not a problem. I'm killing you anyway, so you had better died for a reasonable cause than waste your life for nothing."

"I won't tell you. You despicable man." The prison warden punched him in his chest making him cough out blood.

'This is the only thing you can do to me. But you can't stop what's coming for you, you will be killed because you don't deserve the throne. You are a son of a bitch." That broke the last straw and I punched his ribs and I heard the bones breaking.

'Now, I don't want to kill you so soon. Start talking so you won't get the Alpha annoyed," The prison warden said, pulling his hair.

"I don't care, I will rather die than tell him what's going to happen to him. He can't face what's coming for him." I was facing the wall of the cell and I chuckled.

'It's my uncle, right? You are siding with someone that's fighting for a wrong cause and you are also ready to lay your life for someone that won't even notice your sacrifice." He gasped and I could feel his eyes on my back. My guess was right.

'How did you know it was him? He hasn't let anyone know. That means you know he's going to attack three months from now?" Ryan was really dumb if he just told me all that without me asking.

'You just told me rather. I can't believe my uncle is working with someone like you." He looked confused.

"Now you will tell me who he is allying with and his full plans."

He breathed out bowing his head down in defeat

"Nobody knows his plans, he never tells anyone his plans, he only gives out instructions for us to carry out."

' Where is he staying?"

'Near the valley, and he tried partnering with the vampires, but Kael refused." I looked at him shocked. I thought Kael would jump at the offer to get rid of me.

I was tired of staying in this enclosure so I asked the prison warden to continue and give the feedback to me.

I left the prison walking down to the palace when I heard my name and I turned to see Damian running.

Damian came to me and he was frowning. I stopped on my steps..

'Alpha." He came closer to my side.

" What happened? Did he find her?"

"No, but Grayson reported having a sniff of her scent but he couldn't find her." I looked at him with anger and I walked away leaving him.

After the Alphas' meeting, I am going to find her on my own, enough of these failed missions. I was very furious and frustrated.

'Your highness, please listen. We can't go too close to her even if we eventually find her. She would die from the pain and I'm sure you don't want that."

"So you want me to sit and watch her slip from my hand. Is that what you want? I won't and I can't let that happen. Never!" I walked out with Damian still following me.

'I am sorry for that. I'm just trying to make you understand how things are so you won't make any mistakes that would hurt her in the end."

"Get the carriage ready, we will leave for the Alphas' meeting venue soon." I ordered a soldier.

'Yes, your highness," he said running off to get the carriage ready.

"Damian, go and get your things, we will leave in three hours." He nodded before walking off.

I walked back to the palace to freshen up. I ordered a maid to pack my clothes up.

While she was brushing my hair, her hands would linger on my back intentionally. I ignored her so she would continue fooling herself but she wasn't ready to stop it.

'Keep your hands to the brushing of my hair only and keep your hand off my body except you don't need your hands." I growled.

'I'm sorry, your highness." She muttered and she removed her hands immediately. She left immediately bowing her head in shame.

'Your highness, a man is here for the post of a guard," Evan said, from the outside of my door.

I frowned but I didn't ask for a new guard.

'I don't want a new guard. Tell him to go away." I said pissed already.

'But we need one, one of the guards was killed in the rogue attack." I groaned.

'Tell him to wait for me in the throne room." I rose and walked down to the throne room. The young man bent his head when he saw me and he was looking very handsome. I don't know but I felt something pulling me toward him. He looked up and I felt something.
