RHEA P.O.V
'Rhea, meet me in my study, we have something important to talk about," Adam said, immediately we got home meeting him at the front door where he was standing while calling us then.
"Babe, what's wrong? Did you see him?" Racheal asked, and we looked at him expectantly.
"Yes, he was on his way to some Alphas meeting. I saw some of his men on my way to the office so I rushed back home to warn you both but I didn't see you at home and I had to call."
"Oh. Don't worry, we are fine." Racheal replied, I smiled tightly when they looked at me.
"Racheal, I will be right back. I need to talk with Rhea." She nodded and I followed him as we went to his study.
"Rhea, as you can see time is running out and we need to get that scroll before he finds you," he said, looking at my face to know my reaction and I put on mask shielding my expression from being ready by him.
'So, you have to go back there. This time as a man. A guard was killed when his uncle attacked his pack and I'm sure he would want to refill the position."
'Oh. Okay," I said, looking at him in the eye. So his uncle was attacking him right. Things would be so hard on him and I'm sure he would be back to his rough and arrogant self.
'You would be leaving tomorrow. You will have to be bold and make sure you end up as his bodyguard to ensure easy access to the scroll room."
"What if he feels the connection between us? He will surely find out because he can smell me," I couldn't help but ask.
"Safrina knew about that, so we went ahead in putting a guard on the ring to make sure he doesn't smell or feel you. So don't worry about that, you are covered. Just do what you have to do and get the scroll for me."
"Why's the scroll so important in your revenge mission?"
"Because it contains the pack's secrets, and the map of the palace. It will help me get inside the palace easily and kill all the people that was responsible for the death of our loved ones. Or don't you want that?"
"I do." I knew deep down I wanted to get revenge for my parents but I don't want anything bad to happen to Axel despite I still hate him for what he did.
"Are you kiling everybody or just those who kiled our loved ones?" I asked, and he snapped his head towards me stunned.
"Why are you asking that? That's not for you to know, your only duty is to get the scroll for me."
I was sure now that he wants to clear the whole pack, buf I can't do anything, not that I ahve anything important there excluding Axel though.
'You have to talk me since I'm part of the plan. I can't be involved in something I don't know how it would end or how it would revolve," I repeated stubbornly.
"Argh, Rhea you are such a pet. I fucking hate your guts and I'm only enduring you because Racheal adores you so much. But don't push me," he said, slamming his hand on the desk and I gasped.
"It's fine. You don't owe me any explanation. I will go to my room to rest for tomorrow," I said, as I stood up walking towards the door quickly to leave.
'Rhea. Remember one important thing, don't fall back in love with him. He chased you away and he can do it again. That's how Alphas are so don't forget that," he said, and I nodded leaving his office.
I went out of his study breathing out breaths I didn't know I was holding in. I walked to the kitchen and Racheal was there sitting on the table looking lost.
'Racheal are you okay?" I asked, and she looked up surprised.
"Umm. Yes, I'm fine. What did he say?" She asked, smiling. I knew something was wrong with her and I must know what.
"He said I'll be going to the Dark moon pack. Racheal seriously what's wrong with you? You looked so tense."
"I'm fine Rhea, stop worrying. Come, since we can't go to the mall at least let's try out recipes from YouTube." She said, opening her iPad to search for recipes.
'Which type of cuisine?" I asked, letting her free for now though I'm still curious.
"Baking rather, but I don't know what to prepare. Come let's find it together. 'I walked around the table to her and the screen was filled with enticing cakes and pastries.
"Wow, so many things and one can't make a choice because every turn keeps getting more tasty and delicious looking treats. Rachael you are alone on this one, I can't make a choice." I said, shaking my head. She laughed.
'I have an idea, why don't we make two choices each and go on a sprint like in a cooking competition and see who will be faster and who will prepare the tastier one." She suggested it and it was a very funny idea.
'I love the idea already. Now go on making your choices and I will make mine so we can start," I said. She nodded and looked at the screen again fidgeting in what to pick and I smiled inwardly. I already know what I'm selecting.
"Fine, these two." She pointed to my exact choices and my smile dropped.
'Noooooo. Whyy," I cried. She looked at me in surprise.
'What did I do? What's wrong with you?"
"You just choose what I want to prepare." She laughed and I groaned looking at the screen.
"This and this." I pointed to something else and we got to work.
