Louis, who had just finished his workday, was preparing to leave. He gathered his things, placed his jacket over his arm, and headed for the elevator. As the elevator descended, his mind was focused on the busy day he had—filled with financial reports, meetings, and numbers. It had been a long day, and all he wanted now was to go home and relax.
When the elevator arrived at the lobby, Louis stepped out, but before he could take another step, he froze. Standing right in the middle of the lobby was Cleopatra. She was impossible to miss, her presence commanding attention, as usual. Louis looked left and right, unsure of what was going on, and then realized—Cleopatra was waiting for him.
He sighed inwardly and approached her, walking slowly with hesitant steps. He stopped just a few steps in front of her. Cleopatra looked up at him and lowered her oversized Gucci sunglasses, a sly grin spreading across her face.
Louis raised an eyebrow, curious but trying to maintain composure. "Do you always wear sunglasses everywhere, Cleopatra?" he asked, the question slipping out before he could stop himself.
Cleopatra smirked, clearly amused. "It just makes me look cooler," she replied casually, her eyes filled with mischief and confidence. Without another word, Cleopatra tossed her black Chanel bag toward Louis.
Reflexively, Louis caught the bag, though he wasn't quite prepared for the sudden action. He looked at the bag in his hands, confused by what was going on. Cleopatra didn't give him a moment to question it, though. She turned on her heel, her voice carrying over her shoulder as she walked away.
"Let's go," she said, her tone direct, without waiting for him to catch up.
Louis, still holding the bag, stood momentarily in the lobby, unsure of what had just happened. He quickly followed her outside, unable to shake the feeling that Cleopatra had somehow thrown him into yet another unexpected situation.
"Where are we going?" Louis asked, feeling a bit awkward as they walked toward the exit.
Cleopatra, already halfway to the car, didn't even glance back at him. "I need to go on a date," she answered nonchalantly. "Our first date was canceled, so now, I'm making it happen."
She tossed her Lamborghini car keys toward him. Louis barely had time to react, but his reflexes kicked in once again, and he caught them. He blinked, his mind still processing everything.
"Wait, you're making me drive?" Louis asked, surprised.
"Just get in the car, Louis," Cleopatra replied, her tone playful but firm. "We're going to have a good time."
The two of them walked toward the car. Louis, feeling increasingly out of place, got in the driver's seat and started the engine. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of game Cleopatra was playing, but before he could dwell on it, Cleopatra pulled out her phone and tapped something on the screen.
"I've already set the destination," she said, casually glancing at Louis. "Just follow the map."
Louis glanced at the map on the car's display. "You've already planned everything, haven't you?"
Cleopatra leaned back in her seat, not offering much of an answer, just a small smirk. "Just follow the instructions."
Louis, still feeling a bit awkward, didn't argue. He followed the directions, and soon they were on their way. The ride was mostly silent, save for the occasional instruction from Cleopatra.
After a while, they arrived at a large shopping mall in downtown New York. Louis pulled the car into the parking lot, his eyes widening in surprise as he took in the luxury of the place. The mall was high-end, filled with designer stores and expensive boutiques. Louis couldn't help but feel out of place.
"Wait, you brought me here?" Louis muttered to himself.
The thought crossed his mind that his finances wouldn't be able to support anything in this mall, and he felt a sense of dread. He wasn't even sure if he could afford a coffee at this place, let alone anything else.
Before Louis could voice his hesitation, Cleopatra had already exited the car. She came around to Louis's side, opening the door for him, her expression as confident as ever. Louis hesitated for just a second, but there was no stopping her.
"Let's go, Louis," she said, her tone firm and commanding.
Louis glanced around, feeling a bit awkward and out of place in such a luxurious setting, but with no other choice, he followed her out of the car. As they walked toward the entrance of the mall, he couldn't help but wonder what Cleopatra had in store for him next.

Upon arriving at an upscale clothing store, Cleopatra confidently grabbed Louis's hand and gently nudged him to enter. "Come on, Louis. Don't hesitate, this will be fun," she said with a teasing smile, clearly sure that Louis would feel awkward about the money being spent.
Louis glanced around the store, feeling uneasy. "Cleopatra, I'm not sure I need new clothes," Louis said, slightly pulling his hand back.
"Of course, you do, Louis," Cleopatra replied with a wide grin, full of certainty. "You don't want to look unfashionable, do you?" She gently pulled Louis deeper into the store filled with designer collections.
As they walked further in, a store associate immediately approached with a friendly smile. "Welcome, may I assist you?" the associate asked professionally.
Cleopatra, without hesitation, began speaking with full confidence, as if she had shopped here many times before. "Could you recommend the latest shirts and suits that would be perfect for the man standing next to me?" she asked, motioning toward Louis with a slightly raised hand. "A suit that will make him look like a successful young executive."
The associate nodded enthusiastically, feeling honored by the request. "Of course, Ms. Thompson. We just received our latest collection, I'll be right back with some great options for you."
Louis, feeling uncomfortable, tried to hold himself back. "Actually, I still have plenty of clothes at home," he said, uncertain. "Maybe we don't need to buy anything right now, Cleopatra."
However, Cleopatra didn't give him a chance to speak further. Gracefully, she placed her finger to Louis's lips, signaling for him to be quiet. "Don't say anything else, Louis," she said softly but firmly. "Trust me, you need this."
Louis fell silent, slightly taken aback by Cleopatra's ability to immediately take control of the situation. Soon after, the store associate returned with a pile of clothing in hand.
"Here, Ms. Thompson. We have some great options for him," said the associate, handing over a few suits and shirts that looked very expensive.
Cleopatra immediately took all the clothes and handed them to Louis. "Try these on in the fitting room," she instructed in a tone that left no room for refusal. "I'm sure you'll look amazing."
Louis wanted to refuse, feeling confused and a little nervous. "Cleopatra, I really don't...," he said, but Cleopatra gently pushed him toward the fitting room.
"Quiet and just try them on," she said with a confident smile, leaving Louis with no choice but to comply. Deep down, Louis felt a bit embarrassed, but he walked to the fitting room with the clothes she had handed him.
Inside the fitting room, Louis tried on the clothes one by one. Each time he wore a new set, he came out briefly to show Cleopatra, who was carefully assessing his look.
"How's this?" Louis asked hesitantly, standing in front of the mirror. "Is it too...?"
Cleopatra raised an eyebrow, inspecting him thoroughly. "You look great, Louis," she said with a satisfied smile. "That suit fits perfectly, but try the other shirt."
After several more tries and discussions, they finally picked out three shirts that suited Louis. Cleopatra smiled triumphantly, as if this were a personal victory. "I'm buying them all," she said without hesitation.
The store associate, hearing this, looked very pleased. "Of course, Ms. Thompson. Those are excellent choices," he said, serving them with great politeness and attention.
Louis, now holding the shopping bags, felt confused, nervous, and a little happy. He felt like he was in a world so different from his usual life, but couldn't deny that he felt a bit of happiness from receiving this attention from Cleopatra.
"Thank you, Cleopatra," Louis said softly, still in disbelief at what had just happened.
Cleopatra looked over and smiled, "Don't think too much, Louis. We're not done yet. Come on, follow me."
With his heart racing, Louis followed Cleopatra, still unsure of the next steps he should take, but feeling like he couldn't stop following this confident woman.
Louis, now holding the shopping bags, felt confused, nervous, and a little happy. The bags felt heavy, whether from their contents or from the emotional weight that was starting to linger within him. Still, he followed Cleopatra ahead, quickly thanking her, although his mind was still wondering how he ended up in this strange situation.
"Thanks, Cleopatra," Louis said, his voice a bit hesitant, but there was clear confusion in it.
Cleopatra, walking ahead, suddenly stopped, causing Louis to nearly bump into her. "Come on," she said with a meaningful smile, "this way."
Louis raised an eyebrow, feeling confused. "Where are we going now?" Louis asked, a little worried about what might happen next.
Without answering, Cleopatra gently pulled his hand and led him toward a nearby photobooth. Louis glanced at the small booth and frowned, feeling that it was a bit childish. However, when Cleopatra looked at him and smiled with a serious expression, he fell silent.
"We need to have a photo together," Cleopatra said in a tone that couldn't be argued with. "This will make it easier for us to convince people we're really dating."
Louis looked at Cleopatra, slightly confused, but his heart skipped a beat when he heard those words. "A photo?" he repeated hesitantly. "To convince people? Isn't that a bit... strange?"
Cleopatra looked at him and smiled confidently. "Nothing strange about it," she replied casually, "we need to start something different, right? Besides, it'll be fun." She pulled him closer with her soft hand.
Louis felt a bit awkward and almost didn't know what to do. "Okay," he said finally, his voice still unsure. "But, is this a bit childish?"
Cleopatra looked at him with a gentler gaze, teasing him. "Sometimes, the simplest things are the most fun, Louis," she said with a playful smile, making Louis feel strange and a bit charmed.
Inside the photobooth, Louis tried to relax even though his heart was racing. Cleopatra adjusted their positions, and Louis couldn't avoid feeling a bit nervous. He looked at Cleopatra, noticing how close they were standing. Cleopatra's face was so beautiful in the soft lighting, her hair perfectly flowing, and her confident smile. Louis felt like he couldn't stop staring at her.
"Just pretend you're happy," she said with a wide smile, urging Louis to forget his nervousness. "Let's make this look natural."
Louis tried to smile, but suddenly felt like he was seeing Cleopatra from a different perspective. He couldn't ignore how beautiful she was, and his heart was beating faster than usual.
As the camera snapped, Louis tried to hold back the feelings that suddenly arose. A strong attraction, one that was becoming harder to ignore. Every small laugh and graceful movement from Cleopatra made his heart race even more.
Cleopatra, noticing Louis's reaction, smiled with satisfaction, as if aware of the effect she was having. "I knew you could do it," she said confidently. "Don't worry, Louis, this is just the beginning."
Louis could only nod, trying to stay calm, even though his heart was beating faster than ever. There was something in Cleopatra's gaze that fascinated him, even though he tried to suppress those feelings.
When the photo session ended and the screen in the booth displayed their pictures, Louis couldn't help but smile slightly. Somehow, he felt a little happier than before, though he was still confused about what was really happening. And perhaps, for the first time, he began to realize that there was something deeper growing inside him—a feeling that was hard to define.
