In the morning, Carissa entered the office while talking on the phone, "Really, I am relieved. Let's have dinner together after work". Carissa said looking at him who was waiting impatiently for her to end this call.

"Thank you so much Carissa". Celeste said from the other end.


Carissa smiled back at Noah who was already smiling at her, "You don't have to be. Let's meet later". She doesn't want Celeste to owe her anything or feel indebted.

"Okay. Bye". Carissa hung up and saw Noah still looking at her. Carissa waved her hand. "Hi." She came closer to him and held his hand. "Thank you for your help". He is beyond capable. The matter which turned the life of Celeste upside down he settled it within a single night. Perhaps, for this reason people crave power. So, they can protect themselves and their loved ones from the harshness of the world. So, no one dares to trample on them.

Noah pushed the strand of hair behind her ear, "You don't have to be thankful, you decided to get married and that's enough".


Carissa felt shy, but something was different about him today. She tried to find out the difference, "Why are you wearing glasses today?"

"So, I can have a better view of you". He was talking cringeworthy things.


"UGH", with her fist Carissa punched his chest. "Very funny".

"I am serious". He replied. For a second he looked very serious.

"Leave it…. I am going". She tried to run towards her work desk but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards himself as a result she fell on his lap.

Carissa tried to separate the bodies but his grip on her waist tightened. "You should pay me. Remember our deal".

Carissa cursed under her breath and closed her eyes so he could kiss her. Noah laughed. She opened her grey pupil to look at him, "Why?"

"You will kiss me. This time it won't be me". He announced and she forgot to breath.

"Me? H-how?" She hesitated for a bit. "Okay, I will close my eyes". He closed them. Carissa looked at him for some time and first she carefully took off his spectacles. She clenched the hen of his shirt from the waist and inhaled a large amount of air. He was waiting for her in anticipation.

Carissa placed her lips on his thin and rosy one. As soon as her lips came in contact he dominated her, slipping in his tongue inside her, exploring the every corner. Carissa ran her fingers in his smooth and silky hair pulling him closer. Maybe she had coffee, and it tasted amazing. He really can't get enough of her. She is a drug and he is intoxicated.

Only when she started to become breathless he stopped torturing her. Her lips were swollen up. Noah ran his finger over her swollen lips and whispered, "This is how you kiss". He was making fun of her.

Carissa rolled her eyes and ran towards her work desk and he laughed more at her running figure.

At the lunch hour, Noah was outside of the office for a meeting. Carissa was hungry so she decided to go to the cafeteria and eat. It's been many days since she met Laura and today was a good chance to eat with her. Carissa filled her plate with different dishes and saw Laura eating alone. "Hi friend".

Laura looked at her, "Oh my God Carissa where have you been? I thought you have resigned". She was surprised to see her after so long.

Carissa settled on the seat."Why would I resign? It was hard to get a job.I was a little busy during the past few days".

"Why? Are you dating?" Laura asked suspiciously.

Carissa felt her heart beating rapidly and her face turned red as the event of last night and morning flushed across her mind. She cannot tell her about getting married as she just decided to get married for now and the other things are not settled. About dating….. She is also not sure, whether they are dating or not she is not sure of anything at the moment. 'Are we really dating?' A thought echoed.

"What are you saying? I was busy with work". Carissa gave her a white. She could not even come to the office because of Panther because he kept her captive at his house.

Her phone beeped, she unlocked the phone and opened the message, "Where are you?" He was asking.

"At cafeteria, having lunch". She replied and in the next minute Carissa noticed there was a pin drop silence. Even Laura was looking at the entrance with her eyes wide opened. "Hey, what happened?" Carissa snapped her fingers in front of the surprised Laura.

She felt someone sitting beside her. Carissa looked up and saw Noah. She was shocked and her jaw dropped, "Hey, what are you doing here?" She whispered.

"I am here for lunch". He plainly replied. Laura was about to run away, "You can eat here". His cold voice rang in the air. The employees were looking at them in surprise.

Laura sat back on the chair in fear immediately. Aaron brought food for him, the trio were eating quietly. Noah suddenly locked his fingers with hers under the table. Carissa choked on her food. She coughed violently. "Are you okay?" he asked. But instead of being worried he looked amused and the corner of his lips curved upward. Carissa tried to free her hand but he did not let her do that. She glared at him and he left her hand but the next thing he did was enough for her to get buried in the hole. Noah patted the back of her head, "Eat slowly". Laura was looking at them suspiciously, she could not swallow her food at all. 'I am going to get indigestion today'. She thought. Actually she is the most pitiful one here. She can't leave nor can eat and on the top of that their affection was blinding her eyes and she wanted to puke blood. 'They are not normal. Something huge is going on'. Laura narrowed her eyes.

Today, not a single person was eating in the cafeteria. All the pair of eyes were gawking at them. It is such a rare occasion to see Mr. President on the top of that his mood is quite pleasant of course no one was going to let this chance slip away. They wanted to save this scene forever in their memories. The female employees were looking at Carissa enviously. Being close to such a capable and handsome man....it is a dream. That can never turn into a reality for them.

Laura stuffed her mouth with food. She wanted to run away from here after eating as soon as possible. She spoke with a stuffed mouth, "Mr. President Can I go now? I have some pending work".

Noah did not look at her, his dark eyes were glued to Carissa. He signaled Laura that she can go.

When Laura left Carissa whispered, "Hey, What are you doing?"

"Eating with my fiancé". He replied nonchalantly.

"Like seriously Noah. Please keep our personal life and work separate."

His mood dropped but nodded in affirmation.

'It is very difficult to please him. What am I going to do with the rest of my life?' Carissa thought and clenched her fist.

Now she has to work hard to cajole. She sighed deeply inside.
