The sunrays strike the window hitting their faces. Noah woke up and saw her sleeping peacefully in his embrace. He gave a peck on her lips and carefully placed her head on the pillow.

Noah took a shower and dressed up in a grey checked print suite looking as noble as usual.


Carissa was still in a deep sleep. Noah glanced at her and sat on the bed beside her. "Wake up. You will be late". He was like a mother who wakes up her son every morning.

She lazily stretched in her sleep but was in no mood to wake up. Carissa turned away from him and continued to sleep. He grinned as a perverted idea popped up in his mind.

She was dressed only in his shirt. He slipped his hand in her shirt and pinched her nipple. She whimpered in sleep, his hand was tracing her whole body and at last it reached to her most sensual spot. Carissa suddenly realized what was happening with her.


She jerked up from her sleep and roared at him, "GET LOST YOU HOOLIGAN".  

He was showing all of his pearly teeth. The first thing he did to her early in the morning, was to make her angry. Noah knew, he can even get murdered now. "Okay I am getting lost. Be quick I am waiting for you". He raised his hands in the air showing her that he had surrendered.


Carissa could only shoot laser beams at him while adjusting her shirt. She was left with no choice. Who knows what will happen next. Carissa freshens up and dresses into a sophisticated formal suit looking more professional. She glanced at the watch and yeah as expected she was already very late.

Her legs were sore and whole body was aching. It was difficult to walk in heels. It would be weird if this didn't happen to her body. After doing the stern exercise till late at night it was only normal. In frustration she threw away the heels and wore a comfortable pair of sneakers.

Noah was waiting for her in the car. She sat in the car beside him and he handed her a sandwich. "Eat up".

"You are very bad, Noah". She complained while biting off the bread.

Noah wasn't going to let this chance slip away, "Why are you complaining now? You were enjoying it a lot last night". Actually she also encouraged him. At first she was reluctant but later she did not want him to stop.

She started to chew on the sandwich, ignoring him completely. He is an encyclopedia when it comes to teasing her. The drive was covered in a silence.

He dropped her in front of the company and then went to his own office.

When Noah entered inside the company, a disdainful figure came and hugged his arm making people gasp. He glared coldly at her, "Mia let me straighten out the facts here, if you want to work here then please do but…" he clenched his teeth, "If you will keep up this behavior…."

She did not let him finish, "You cannot terminate the contract". Mia was acting like the world is in her hands and he cannot do anything about this but little does she know who he is and yeah she is completely wrong.

Noah laughed with sarcasm. The sound that resonated in the air was so evil and horrible that the onlookers forgot to breathe, fearing that he might do something terrible with them or it could be the last day of their lives. The panther was looking for his prey even in the middle of the day.

Noah whispered near her ear, "I cannot terminate the contract but I can make you disappear…" he snapped his fingers as his gaze was tearing up her body, "within a minute".

Her grip loosen at his arm and he elegantly walked away. He is not the same person she knows from 15 years ago. Can a person change this much? 10 years ago he was ready to die for her, now he is ready to kill her. She knew his mother had told him everything from the past that's why he is behaving like this. Also this damn Carissa, what kind of a spell she has cast on him that he cannot see anyone beside her. Mia was regretting leaving him. In the past she used to think of him as a useless person…… if she knew things will come to this point she would have never left him, even on the gun point.

She clenched her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white and her long nails were digging in the flesh.

Even if she has no chance with him now… but she can make him hate Carissa too.

'If I am going through hell I will take you with me. How can I let you in peace Mr. President'. Her lips curled up into an evil smile.

As soon as he entered his office he turned towards Aaron. "I told you not to let her come near me. DO YOU HATE YOUR LIFE NOW AND WANT TO DIE?" he roared at Aaron.

Aaron pitifully clasped his hands in front of his body and looked down on the ground. In the cold weather his back was dripping sweat and the beads of tiny droplets were also visible on his face and forehead.

Noah ran his hands in his hair due to frustration.  "Don't let this happen again". His voice was softer this time and he warned him again.

"Yes sir. I will make sure". Aaron could only comply.

His mood remained down the whole day. He was happy early in the morning to be successful in teasing her, but this witch has ruined everything.

Meanwhile, Carissa continued to work in the office. Celeste was also helping her with the proposal. Tomorrow it will be her presentation and she was nervous about it.

If she will fail to meet up to the expectations it will harm the reputation of her father.

The whole night even at the house Carissa put in a huge effort and worked with consistency. She disturbed Noah from time to time but he did not mind it and solved all of her queries perfectly each time.

Next morning, she dressed up and looked at him nervously. "Don't worry. You can do it". He pushed her more while creasing her cheek.

Carissa went to the office and ate a lot of chocolates to keep her blood sugar level normal. Otherwise, she thought she would faint.

But the presentation went well unlike her expectations. Jia asked some questions to ridicule her but thanks to the training of Noah she overcame them all.
