Three years later.

At the sacred place of the Daylight Pack, beside Moon Lake.

Dressed in white research attire, I was discussing a report on ancient wolf bloodline mutations with Ethan.

"According to ancient records, when a werewolf with pure bloodline experiences extreme pain and betrayal, there is a tiny probability they will break through adversity and awaken the dormant 'White Wolf' bloodline within them," Ethan said.

I stretched out my hand, and a gentle white halo with healing power appeared in my palm.

Three years ago, I had dragged my broken body to this place, my heart as dead as ashes.

It was Ethan who, day after day, had used his gentle Alpha aura to smooth out my chaotic mental energy.

It was on this peaceful land that I had reclaimed my scholarly dreams.

I was no longer anyone's accessory.

I had awakened the rare "White Wolf" bloodline, becoming the most powerful healer and strategist of the Daylight Pack.

I was Ella—just Ella.

"You've done very well, Ella." Ethan's eyes carried a gratified smile. "You are stronger than I imagined."

"Thanks to you," I said sincerely.

Just at that moment, a strange spiritual force filled with violence and despair invaded Daylight territory.

"Ella!"

A voice so familiar it made me nauseous rang out.

I turned and saw Alex.

He looked like a completely different person.

Haggard and ragged, those once imperious golden wolf eyes now contained only turbidity and madness.

His wolf spirit was highly unstable, like a flame about to be extinguished.

He stared fixedly at the sight of me and Ethan standing side by side.

"So, this is why you left me?" His voice was hoarse, filled with jealousy and resentment. "You couldn't wait to throw yourself into another Alpha's arms, could you?"

I looked at him with disgust.

Three years, and he was still the same—never looking for reasons within himself.

"I left you because you're a bastard who can't control his lower half," I said coldly.

He staggered back a step.

"No... it's not like that... Ella, that was just a momentary lapse of judgment! I only love you! For these three years, I've been looking for you every single moment!"

"Looking for me?" I laughed, though the smile didn't reach my eyes. "Looking for me while continuing to sleep with your little she-wolf? Alex, you truly disgust me."

For the first time, I actively released my powerful aura as a "White Wolf."

That pure and majestic power made Alex's wolf spirit feel fear and submission from deep within his bloodline.

He looked at me in disbelief.

"Your power... how could it be..."

"That's none of your business," I interrupted him. "What we had ended long ago."

"No! It's not over!" He suddenly broke down, kneeling before me, trying to grab my ankle.

"Ella, please, forgive me! I know I was wrong! We could still have a child, we could have..."

"SHUT UP!"

I sharply raised my voice, the White Wolf's power exploding instantly.

"You don't deserve to mention that child!"

My voice trembled with anger.

"It was you! You killed our baby with your own hands! While you were worried if your mistress was 'too tired,' our child was slowly bleeding out in the cold rain!"

"How dare you mention my child? How do you have the audacity to speak of them?"

I concentrated three years of pain and hatred into the sharpest words, stabbing them viciously toward him.

Alex's body convulsed violently as if struck by lightning.

He clutched his head, letting out a suppressed, agonizing whimper.

Ethan stood in front of me, wrapping me in his steady Alpha aura, shielding me from Alex's uncomfortable desperation.

The auras of the two Alphas collided fiercely.

Alex, with his fragmented wolf spirit, was no match for Ethan.

He was easily forced back, falling awkwardly to the ground.

"Ella... please... without your mental link, my wolf spirit will wither and die..." he begged pitifully, like an abandoned dog.

I looked at him coldly.

"Then go die."

After saying this, I turned and left with Ethan, without looking back.
