ASHLY POV
"Are you really okay? You really don't want to go to the hospital?"
I shook my head "No, I am really okay Quint and besides if I felt uncomfortable, Maeve is here. She's a doctor aren't she?"

I was surprised when Kaiden saved me like Superman. He was only on the side stage for a few seconds and later he was already hugging me and saved me. At that very moment I look at him with worried face and all I can hear is my heartbeat. That little feeling went bigger. But I was even more shocked for what I saw earlier... my dad.
"Even though that happen. We still got the award right? So the party is still on, right Gabbi?"
"Y-yeah."
Later we went to CasaNova because Gabbi rented the whole place, just only those close to us, Maeve, Kaiden, Quint, and some common friends, those other two paticipants earlier was also invited. Tomorrow is the second party that the CEO and Director actually hosted for me, inviting all the famous singers, composers, CEO's and the recording companies. Then the next day they will held a press conference.
"Congrats Ash. Omg, I never expected my friend to be a super mega ultimate star." Beki said. The manager of this bar.
"Nah, I'm still going to play here."

"Promise me that? Okay? That will make this bar more famous."
I laugh "Okay okay. Let me lay on your couch in VIP room oks?"
"Go ahead girl. That handsome already rented the whole place even the VIP rooms and drinks. That Gabbi is really big time."
I tap her shoulder and went to the VIP room with my phone and a glass of wine.

I pressed the number in my contracts that I never imagine I would press again.
'Dad'
"You are there right? You are that person I saw right?" I ask him straightly when he answer my call
"What if its not me?"
"Impossible! I clearly saw you!"
"You know what? Let's talk about this things in the other day. I am having an important meeting." He said and ended up the call
'Why can't you just tell me the truth... that you went to the Metro Pop, that you went there to support me? Is it really too hard for you to accept it? This achievements are really not enough to prove myself that I really love singing? Does this achievements can't really made you accept me?' If someone haven't wipe my tears I would never notice that a tear already drop from my eyes.
"Are you okay?" Kaiden said while still wiping my tears
I pull his hand and wipe my own wet cheeks "I-i am okay."
"You are not a liar Ash." Kaiden said as sat down next to me "Its an happy event but you are here, crying. Tell me, what's your problem. Is it about what happen earlier?"
I shook my head "No. Its about my father. I-i saw him earlier, I am so far from him but I could clearly see his extremely worried face.. its just... he denies it few minute ago" I drank the wine in my glass "when I called him." I added "Why can't he just accept me, huh Kaiden??" I said and started crying again
"I think, he already accepts you, he just didn't accept it to himself."
"But why can't he just admits it? Is it too hard?"
He puts his arm on my shoulder "Yes, cause both of you are prideful. Its hard to admit the thing that you have been denying for too long."
I put my head on his shoulder while still crying "Nah, I bet he just want to see me failed so that I could manage his company already."
I just hear him blow ear then put his hand on my hair and comforted me.
"When you have no where to run Ash，come to me, I could be your home and safe place."
I could feel his breath in my forehead, I look at him. He was wearing a serious face looking down to my face.
I feel like I can't move from my place when his face was moving towards mine and all I can hear is my loud hearbeat. I bet my face now was already turn red as his face still approching mine then our lips touches. As if the time stops and I could feel what they call 'spark' through our kiss. His lips was so soft and he kisses me pationately.
I just realized that I was responding to his kiss so I immediately pushed him and slapped him "What the fvck are you doing?!" I ask angrily
"I like you As--"
I slapped him again "Do you hear what are you saying?!"
"Yeah. I said I liked you!"
I was about to slap him again when he caught my hand "I'm going to say this again. I like you Ash, even you slap me thousand times, I still like you. When I kiss you earlier, I already know that I really do like you. I don't know when did it starts but seeing you everyday makes me happy."
"Are fvcking crazy Kaiden Bautista?! You are already engaged with my bestfrien--"
"Then why did you responded to my kiss?" He ask which makes me shut my mouth "Then why Ash? If you already know I was engaged with your bestfriene whu did you respond to my kisses? Unless you also like me to--"
"How thick of your face! Cause I am fvcking drunk! Let's just forget that kiss happen. Go back with Maeve, forgot all your bullshit feelings for me! For Pete's sake you are already engaged, God!" I calm my self down "Thank you for me accompanying earlier. If you continue being like this... I will cut my ties with you!" I said and went out from the room leaving him behind
"Are you okay? You look like you just went out from a trouble." Quint said
"Nothing..."
I just went to the bar tender and got my self one bottle of beer.
When I was drinking it in the couch those two ladies earlier approach me "Ms. dela Cruz.. u-uhm congrats earlier." The girl with short hair said while shyly sitting in the couch
"Y-yeah. You are so nice. Congrats and thanks for what you've earlier." The second girl with medium and wavy hair said "Are you really okay?"
"I am okay." I quikly answered
'Am I really that obvious?' Well who else will not be embarrased if my bestfriend's boyfriend kissed me!? I felt my blood boils while remembering what happen earlier. Shit!
"Are you really okay, Ms. dela Cruz? If the lights will be about to fall on me, I would definitely be traumatize. That was a big light you know?"
'Oh, so they are talking about that light accident?' I breathed a sigh of relief
"Y-yeah. I-i was shocked at first too." I drank a big gulp on the bottle
"To be honest Ms. dela Cru--"
"You can call me Ashly." I said and smiled
"Ashly, so be it. I am Taki" the short hair girl said
"And I am Kitchie." The medium haired girl said
"You know, at thought you are badass, not easily be approached and so straight forward but now I could say that you are just sassy but a little bit badass." Taki said
"My sister likes you too! Can you autograph this please." Kitchie said while pointing at the t-shirt she was holding."
I put the bottle in the table and get the t-shirt
"What's her name so I could also put it in here."
"Its Dione." She said.
I put her sister's name beside my name and signature. "Here."
"Wow, thank you very much Ashly. My sister will love this." She excitedly put it in her bag
"Does your sister also love singing?"
"Yeah. She is a cover singer on social media. Over 1-2k followers I guess for 5 months"
"Woo, that's good. You know, I have been in singing industry for almost 7 years but I just been recognized. As long as I don't gave up. I will have my own day." I said. My eyes caught Kaiden going downstairs, when our sight met, I looked away
"We did our best earlier but we already know that you will be the singer of the year." Taki said
"The Legendary Gabbi is your Composer. I wish even though I won't be a singer under him, my sister will be." Then Kitchie added
The following days as expected. The big party held by the company， press-con，One after one interview，product companies who wants me to be their model，fans increasing, recording companies contracts.
"This month is so busy, right Gabbi?" I said as I tapped Gabbi's shoulder who was signing lots of papers.
Our winning as the Singer and Composer of the year also regain Gabbi's popularity. Lots of singers under Sony and other companies want him to be their Composer.
"Yeah. Thanks to you." Gabbi said
I smiled "And thanks to you too. If it wasn't you, will I be ever a contracted singer? Hm?"
"Then will done for both of us."
I stretches my arm "Hm, its already been months..." 'I still haven't talked to Kaiden.' I never felt a month has already been past "tomorrow, we will be planning my bestfriend's wedding... do I have sched this month?"
He look at my schedule "Hmm. Just few, press-con, interview, preparing for your second single on your first album and photoshoot."
"Wait what? Photoshoot? For what?" I said shocked
"Well for your second single ofcourse. We will also take another picturial for the album's cover photo."
'That's kinda busy, well let me just squeeze my time'
"WELL TITA TITO, I have been already planning Maeve's Bachelorette Party and Bridal Shower for this past two months so everything is already ready, the invitations for the girls who was close and common friends, the places where to held etccs and I suggested 2-3 months before the wedding, this events will be held so that the bride, Maeve, won't have tight sched."
"You are amazing Ash. Even though you are really busy you still plan this things." Tita said
"Nah, its okay tita."
We all look at the door when someone doorbell "Let me." Kaiden's mom said and went ti the door "You are finally here." We hear her says
"So this is the wedding planner, I hired. She's one of the most good wedding planner I know, she is Faye. Her boss is my amega(friend)." She said
"You must be the Maid of Honor. Gosh, Miss Garcia is so lucky to have a Singer of the Year as a Maid of Honor."
"She's my bestfriend actually." I said
She smiled and nodded then her face later became serious "Work first. So the wedding preparation usually takes upto one year but I will do my best so that the bride and groom will be married less than one year. Miss dela Cruz, we will be cooperating for the planning process."
"Sure no probs."
"HEY," I was on the kitchen of my condo when someone spoke.
I was so shocked that the plate with only food would have fallen to the floor but Kaiden catch it
"Yey, what's wrong with you this days? You haven't come to my condo to eat, you also avoids me, you also didn't guard me-- oh Maeve is already here so no need. But avoiding and didn't go to my condo to eat... is that still you Ash?"
"Wow, so I am the one who avoiding you? You are such a thick-face! You are the one who was avoiding me after t-that..."
'Darn it! Why can't I say it?!
"That?"
"T-that..."
'Fvck why am I stuttering?!'
"That night when I said I like you?"
My eyes immediately widen
"Relax, I just said I like you. I didn't said 'I love you'. But you still have to sing me the song you sung to Quintin--when I can make you fall for me."
I felt my cheeks are now so red and hot. I don't know if its because of anger... or just... I-i am b-blusing...
"Just kidding, don't act awkward whenever I was around. Just act the way you used to and for those things I said that night, please forget it all-- I-i was just too drunk. I spoke nonsense."
I blew air out and hit his shoulder "I was right! HAHA, you are just too drunk that night aren't you? You can't drink next time, you will foul around."
But... why do I felt something aching in my chest? It’s like feeling like you’ve failed and disappointed, that’s how I feel now.
