"I know, our start is very bad. It is already been years and you have already achieve your dream and I am so proud of you."

My tears are going to drop again.
"Today on this special day, I want you to be my girlfriend. So once again, Ashly Dele Cruz, will you be girlfriend?"
I wipe my tears "Are you nuts? Did you hurt your head from broken hearted that you said you want me to be your girlfriend? I don’t want to be a cover-up. Yes, I love you but I don't want it to be a hole cover because the wound in your heart hasn't healed ye--"
I didn't finish what I was about to say when he suddenly kissed me. I heard a loud 'Ayiieee'.
Our lips parted for a few seconds "I'm not asking you to be my girlfriend just to be a hole-cover, I'm asking you to be my girlfriend because I like you, I love you. I love you Ash."

I woke up when someone planted small kisses all over my face
"Good morning babe." He said while hugging me
"Good morning..." I kissed his lips, just a peck.
He stood up and went outside.

I still can't believe Kaiden is already my boyfriend even though its already been 1 month. It was as if it was just last night.
He went inside my room again but with set of foods in a tray "Breakfast in bed, babe."
I smiled as he puts the tray on my bed.
I'm done eating and was already preparing for our visit at Maeve's place. Maeve's belly is already so big. We also prepared some gifts like milk, veggies and snacks.
"I ALREADY put what we brought in the ref." I said and sat in the sofa next to Maeve
"Thanks Ash. Hey Kaiden, take good care of my friend or else I will kill you." Maeve jokely said
"You told me the same thing last month. Don't worry, I will take care of her." Kaiden said as he hugged me.
The four of us bonding the whole night.
--[4 YEARS LATER]--
In the blink of an eye, Kaiden and I had been together for four years.
We are lying on the sand enjoying the sunset. We are celebrating our 4th anniversary here at his hometown. He has finally fulfilled his promise to take me to Palawan again.
Even though we are busy because of our jobs, we still find time for each other. In my five years in the singing industry, my songs have always been at the top, and I have won many awards. Dad and I had a much stronger relationship. But speaking of relationships, Quintin and Maeve divorced 3 years ago. Suddenly, Maeve went somewhere with her baby. I don't even know l to stop Maeve. I heard fron Kaiden that Quintin was assigned to a project in Alaska so he has been there for the past 3 years. I already miss my bestfriend. I can't wait to see my godchild. Maybe the child is now 3-4 years old.
Kaiden and I have never had a problem with our relationship, my fans like him and because his proposal was public, the whole Philippines knows that he is my boyfriend.
"I want when we get married, we can honeymoon here." Kaiden said that made me laugh
"When are we going to get married? You haven't even proposed yet."
He sat down so I sat down too, later I was surprised that he knelt in front of me and pulled out a ring made of a flower.
"Every day I want to marry you. I want you to be mine every day. Just tell me when you want to get married. If you say tomorrow, we will get married tomorrow. I am always ready, just say you want to marry me."
I felt millions of butterflies in my stomach when he said those words. I cupped his cheeks and kissed his forehead "I will definitely marry you, Kaiden. You are my life, you are there when I need a someone, you comforted me everytime I cried." I said and smirk "Huh, I never thought that my mortal enemy in college who was the reason why I was mistaken for a drug addict and moved to another school will soon to be my 'future' fiancee."
He laughed and kissed me on the lips and push me gently to the lay down in the sand.
WE ONLY stayed in Palawan for five days so we are back in Manila now. Kaiden was at work and I was going to Dad's company to visit him. His secretary said that he seems feeling bad.
"Ms. Ashly, you are here." His secretary greeted me
I nodded "Where's Dad?"
"I am really sorry Ms. Ashly. Boss just recieve a emergency meeting in LA earlier... so by now he is already at the airport."
"Los Angeles? I though he's sick?"
"This was an important meeting so the CEO attend it himself."
"Aren't you a secretary? Why aren’t you with him in LA?"
I immediately went out from the building and called Dad.
"Dad, Where are you?" I said when my dad pick up
"I am alredy at the airport going to LA, Ash. Why?"
"Aren't you sick?" I said worriedly
"No, I am okay."
"Then..." I hesitated and felt awkward "When you came back, can you cook chilli crab for me?"
I heard nothing on the other line then later he spoke again "Of course! I will cook my daughter a chilli crab after I came back. Wait for me to return." He said with joy in his voice.
He ended up the call.
What a relief. Dad and I resolve our issues. For so many years we didn't talk, it was comforting to call him 'Dad' again.
"Maeve?" I said when I saw her, with a child "When did you come back? Does Quintin already know this?"
She was also surprised to see me "A-ash..?"
I invited them on 7/11 which is just around the corner to talk
"Don't worry, Quintin and I are getting along."
"Where did you stay in another country? You! You didn't tell me you were leaving the country, you just like a bubble that disappeared!"
She laugh "Quintin and I agreed to have fake feelings for 1 year for the sake of our parents, like we show in front of our parents that we are in love but fake feelings eventually became real so.."
"That's why you left?" I ask
"Yeah..."
"You are stupid then. You love each other but you left the country? And this Quintin, who didn't even stop yo--"
"When I knew that I like him, he was just starting to move on from you."
I was shock "W-what?"
"He like you, I know you are aware of that."
I felt guilty because of that, I nodded. "He confessed to me before but I didn't accepted it because I only see him as my 'Big brother'."
She smiled.
"Most important thing is that you two are already together." I said and smiled "Tell me more!"
She told me that they stayed in Toronto and that she met Quintin again in Chicago. When they met, it was as if there were no other people around but the two of them. Then they reconsile, then something happen to them too (they had s3x(●’◡’●)ﾉ.) The father and son also met after they went for a walk there.
"This must be my godson? He's so handsome, what's his name?"
"Its Aiken."
"Hello, Aiken. Nice to meet you."
He suddenly hugged me "Hello tita Ashly, I am Aiken Domingo. My mommy always talks about you."
I was happy, my godson already knew me. "When Tita have time, we will go play around okay?"
He nodded.
I helped Maeve cook dinner, that's where Kaiden and I ate. At eight o'clock in the evening, Kaiden fell asleep here because they were playing with Maeve's son, he was tired.
No matter how much I woke him up, he was really asleep, so I asked if he could just sleep here, Maeve said it was okay. I hugged him and kissed his forehead. I decided to go to Dad’s house tonight.
The servants are already asleep so I can freely walk around.
Looking at my dad's secret room--where I never been allowed, full of my candid photos, when I was a kid toodler and teen. When I first perform in a big stage, me holding the award; the achievements I've won.
The exchange gift I gave him everytime he gave me gifts is also there.
The table is full of magazines, albums, posters and newspaper about me.
'He indeed love me, he can't just express it. My dad is shy.'
Now I know why my dad is always against my singing...
I didn't expect that I have already asleep in the table, in front of my mother's picture.
I woke up when the sun light hits on my face. I arrange the things in the table who was scattered. I was about to leave the room when the door open "You are just here Ashly?!" Someone said with shocked in its voice.
Its my father's house taker, Auntie.
I look at her confusedly "W-why? Am I n-not allowed here, Auntie?"
"No No No. Its just that everybody is looking for you!"
I suddenly went shock "What? Why?"
"Your father had a sudden heart attack! He's in the hospital now."
"What?!" I said as the confuse, shock and worried rises
"Actually it happen right after the plane landed in Los Angeles last night. Your boyfriend Kaiden and his friend Quintin went here asking if you are here, but I said 'no' because I didn't saw you around."
I run outside the house and quickly hop in my motorocycle.
My motor seems to be flying because of the speed I drive.
"Fvck! That's why I had a bad feeling last night! Dad please be safe."
When I opened the door of my condo, Kaiden and Quintin were there, Maeve was also there.
They stood up when they say me "You are finally here. We are looking for you since last night." Quintin said
"Is my father okay?"
"The hospital said that he's condition is critical... he needed you there Ashly."
"I have already bought plane ticket to L.A. We also have pack important things in your luggage." Maeve said
What they say makes me even more nervous. I am now so worried about my dad! All I want now is to fly to L.A and be in his side.
I have never been a good daughter to him. I don't want to lose him yet, I still want to enjoy life with my dad!
I hurriedly picked up the luggage and plane ticket as we to the airport. Kaiden hugged me, he whispered "Be careful there."
I nodded. "You too. Is it really final? Won't you come with me?"
He kissed my forehead "I really want to but my works is ..." I hugged him
"I understand. Keep safe."
He nodded "Just tell us about Tito."
This past 2 months, the doctors rushed Dad to the emergency room several times.
I am calling Kaiden to tell him that my dad's condition is getting worst and worst each day but instead of Kaiden it was Maeve.
"Hey Ashly."
"Maeve."
"Have you been well there?"
"Yes. I am but why Kaiden didn't pick up?"
"Kaiden is sick. He in the hospital now, he passed away earlier while they were meeting."
I immediately stood up "How is he?"
"He's okay now. He's just a little stressed earlier."
'If I could just go home now, I would go home to take care of him.' "Please take care of him."
"Hm, by the way how's tito?"
"His condition worsen."
"You must be having hard time as well. Don't worry, We'll keep praying for his fast recoveries."
I nodded and wipe my tears off "Thanks Maeve."
"When he woke up, I will told him that you called." She said before ended up the call.
I am outside the emercency room when my phone rings.
"How are you been there?" I said
"I missed you, It feels like we haven't talked for ages!"
"I know right. Is everything okay?"
"Y-yes everything is okay."
"Kaiden.."
"Yes?"
"I think... we should break up." I said while holding my tears "I don't know when will my dad wake up and I'm sure its hard for you to wait for me until I return."
"What are you talking about?" His voice is full of confusement
"I don't know when will I be able to get back there."
"I can wait. I can wait Ash. Just don't spoke nonsense!"
I wipe the tears in my cheeks "I just don't want you to suffer waiting for me!"
"No. I am totally fine! I can wait."
"I just feel so bad. I can't be there for you and that makes me feel so sorry so.."
"I don't want break up. We are still together. I will wait for you even if its too long o-or you can even stay there forever. I could go there in LA instead!"
"I can't let you do that.."
"Why not!?"
My tears are started flowing again "Don't skip your meals. Always take good care of yourself and... Don't wait for me to call you anymore."
I didn't could answered when I ended up the call. I hugged my father and started crying hard "What should I do, Dad?"
