As a continuation of his habit of ignoring her, Alpha crossed all the corridors filled with high ranking wolves, embarrassing her to death. It was so humiliating to be carried away in this posture. Moreover, she thought how pathetic she was looking while riding on his shoulder.

In the stunned audience, Sophia was also standing helpless with Luna, not believing on the display of something which was unseen and unheard in the werewolf's community.

Luna followed Alpha to intercede for Charlotte.

Finally, Charlotte world was back to normal but a new problem was ready to trouble her. She found her back glued to the concert wall. Flames emitting from Alpha's fiery body startled her. As he was getting too close to her, she placed her hands to his chest, trying to keep him at bay.

'Liam showed great change in his behavior this morning. Give us sometime, your friend will be back to normal."

With her hands pinned over her head firmly, Charlotte was aghast at both, this pose and false accusation. She didn't mind Alpha's crimson eyes, his flaring nostrils and continuous growls, and raised her head fearlessly.

'As my sire, he is my responsibility. There's no room for love and any other emotional attachment in this relation. Alpha, You need to learn about the Vampire's Culture."

Charlotte shook her body vigorously to break free. She was done with his unnecessarily physical touch. She had agreed to act like a slut in order to help him but there was no one in this room right now.

His fingers under her chin raised her head; accelerating her heart beat. Eric's thumb was gently caressing her lower lips,

'So, this little one has got courage to talk back now. Interesting!"

Corners of his lips curled up in a tight smile. He leaned in, scaring her out of her wits. Charlotte heart dropped to her stomach, she turned he face away. Situation was same as their first encounter but she was feeling absurd this time.

As a result of her immediate reaction, his warm lips landed on her neck, causing shivering in every single cell of the body.

'No!"

It left her mouth involuntarily, as a defense mechanism. His lips continued their assault, her ear was gently bitten before a husky voice resonated in her mind,

'Why? You like someone else?"

Charlotte got tensed on his query. How could she tell him that the one she liked was no one else but him.

'Let me go!"

Her protest was responded by a chuckle as Alpha faced her again. His silver eyes were piercing into her soul,

'I would not have held you if I had any intention of letting go."

His raised eyebrow challenged her. Charlotte gulped hard to moisten her deserted throat. She wanted to elevate her voice again but the sensation of Alpha's hand under her shirt hushed her.

She knew that if this goes any further, she would had lose her self control. So, she reorganized her emotions to utter two words of opposition.

'Alpha, Please!"

'Say that you don't like me, prove it that you don't want me!"

She was freed from restrain but her heart was pounding hard, chained to his desires. His questions left her bewitched, unable to reply. As she turned to leave, his taunting voice followed her,

'Denying the facts is easier than actually facing it. Only cowards choose to run away from the reality."

Alpha scoffed, fueling her irritation.

'What do you want to listen? Isn't it obvious that I am smitten with you like all the She-wolves around you? What's the big deal with it?"

Alpha's triumphant smile grew profoundly huge. He pulled her back, wrapping his arms around her waist.

'It matters to me, little one. I want to know your heart."

Charlotte melted in his angelic smile. Her heart was fluttering, intoxicating her to the extent that she lost her reasoning.

'Why would you care, Alpha? You have a beautiful company for your entertainment."

Her innocent complain amused him. He tittered while placing his forehead on hers,

'I care because I want to. You intrigued me, Charlotte. I found it quite hard to see you engaging with other man even he is my friend."

Her eyes widened when her little mind finally got his meanings.

'Aren't you?"

'Yes! I am jealous!

Well, that was the most bizarre situation in Charlotte's life. Her face was illustrating the same quantity of shock which spooked her a moment ago. The Alpha Eric Dietor was jealous for someone like her.

Charlotte shut her eyes closed with a hope that when she would open the eyes again, everything would be back to normal.
