Supernatural creatures also have a classification system in them. Widely famous ones are shifter kind, having their unique life styles. Shifters also have variety of races but Lycans are on the top of them, claiming their unquestionable authority.
Vampires and Werewolves were sworn enemies but the previous Vampire King fought with Alpha Lycan to prove his superiority. As you can guess, this ended badly for him, bearing heavy losses in his greed of throne. From that day, Lycans were hostile towards Vampires.
Well, most of the time they are not pleasant and cool headed persons to bond with but still they treat other kinds with a flicker of humanity.
It was better to stay away from them but the roaring monster outside was none other than a Lycan, a free ticket to a painful death.
Despite of all the training she got in school, Charlotte was unable to vanish in the air. She peeped through the curtain and saw a horrifed Vampire Lord, trembling with fear.
'Please don't report it to Alpha King. This is our only entertainment."
He dropped to his knees, his face in his hands,
'We will do anything to please you."
A sired one quickly opened the briefcase full of money and the shop owner kicked the girls on the stage. That 6'5" male Lycan was particularly interested in girls as his roaming eyes were grazing on their bodies.
'I will take those two."
Charlotte was standing head down. But when she was yanked forward, it dawned to her that she was the chosen one. Other girl was younger and petite than her and that impatient douche was already testing her in front of everyone.
A servant quickly wrapped a collar around Charlotte's neck and presented it's leech to the Lycan Master who was inquiring about the money.
'Take it as first installment, Sir. We will keep them sending as a token of our gratitude."
That Vampire Lord bowed his head and Master pulled the leach, signaling her to move. Charlotte sighed and followed him obediently as there was no option except it.
They flew back to England, Charlotte found it amusing that with in three days she was again in her home land but this time as a slave. She remembered all the folklores related to Lycans and a special book about Lycanthrope which was necessary to read for every young Vampire. According to the book, her gruesome end was not far away.
Charlotte's scent was normal again but her Master was too busy to notice that. From special plane for lycans to car ride, Master was ‘busy' with Jenna (other slave girl) as he was pounding in to her mercilessly, her screams were causing chaos. No one even stopped him instead they hooted and asked for turns if he was comfortable with it. He turned Jenna and pushed forcefully in to her mouth, deep thraoting her to his heart's desire.
A young man from cheering crowd inquired about Charlotte too but he growled back,
'This one is for my brother!"
May be his brother was some one important that after his warning, no one dared to look at her. Charlotte's heart leaped to her throat, dread twisted in her gut that this Lycan was so frightening, how would be the one who was fairly feared by his peers.
She tried to hide her panic but her face was blanched like terror struck her hard. She prayed in her heart like before. This time her sanity was at stake.
'You have always supported me when I was in trouble, please save me this time too. These Lycans are nightmare."
...
Upon reaching their Pack, that hyperactive Master was quite normal now but Jenna was half dead. In his calmed senses, he finally scented Charlotte when every passerby were giving them weird stares.
'You, you are a pureblood vampire? What were you doing in the slave market?"
Without waiting for her reply, he picked up her too and ran towards his home. It was a new world record of speed for Charlotte as she held her breathe repeatedly in that three minutes ride.
'From where do you get this trouble, Sunny? We both will be investigated soon for this adventure."
Charlotte was a bit relaxed after seeing their panic.
'What will happen to her?"
It was an obvious question but enjoying the moment was her top priority. In that long ride, she decided to put up a fight till last breath, dying like a brave girl.
'You better die with dignity rather than living in continuous degradation."
Her father was a man of honor and she was going to follow his teachings till death. Charlotte stayed silent, keenly observing that Lycan who was the big brother of Master Sunny.
Unlike him, he was a fine young man with an aura of scholarly around him
'He must be a Professor!"
She was expecting more melodrama but he ordered,
'Sunny, bring some chains. This leash is not enough to restrain her."
Charlotte looked at him with a question,
'What's wrong?"
And didn't fight back when they chained her from head to toe. It was funny that they were so mighty but still anticipating a competitive combat from Charlotte where she could wipe the whole clan for her escape plan.
'What's your name?"
'Star."
Her new Master locked her in a basement and left, cursing Sunny that he was such an irresponsible person.
Charlotte lost count of time in the dark room, going banana because of calamity.
When the door was opened again, she was escorted to a school like building.
'Hats off to my guess, my Master is indeed a teacher."
Little boys of twelve years old were excited in the class where she was used as a live specimen to teach them about Vampires. Curiosity in the kids' eyes excited her too. Charlotte happily participated in the whole demo. Like he ordered,
'Show your fangs!"
She opened her jaw wide to display her sharp fangs and even allowed them to touch it. She even got dinner as one of them requested to see her drinking blood.
Well, easy part was done, Charlotte was dragged to the Pack's forest and kids were ordered to shift. Deciphering her Master's intentions, a chill crept up her spine and she again looked at the teacher who was almost apologetic,
'Sorry, but I have to save my brother."
Charlotte gritted her teeth and prepared herself but still when those pretty innocent boys shifted into the blood thirsty demons, she was done!
Chill surged through her spine when the teacher whistled, her heart hammered in her chest as she staggered back, staring up the monster. In every step, there was an earthquake, shaking the trees. A few leaves fell on the impact of its roar against the thick air, cracking and breaking the roots of the old trees, sticking out to hinder her steps.
Charlotte's breath was frozen in her lungs, her heart was in her throat but she managed to turn and scramble away. She had seen the pictures of Lycans in books but real deal was indescribably horrible.
As she picked up her pace into a run in that jumping, shaking forest, only one thought was ringing in her head.
'I don't want to die like this!"
