That was Sophia, inquiring about the official deal. This secret meeting was held on her request after Royal verdict. She was sitting across the table in Alpha Eric's office, playing with her gown. Her serious tone was not complimenting her soft smile.

'Yes, he has signed the Crescent Pack and the Crystal Moon Pack as your dowry. We are getting married soon."

Alpha Eric stated this big news casually as he was talking about someone else's marriage. Sophia received the agreement papers with trembling hands, her face blanched with panic. She shook her head,


'Dad is so impatient! This is a pathetic way to lose everything."

'Your father chose a safe future for you. I don't think you are on a loser's end."


Alpha sat back, playing with the pen in his hand.

'I am the only one who is at loss here."

Sophia smiled half-heartedly.

'This Royal contract does not guarantee your loyalty. Who knows when you will simply kick me out after having a male heir?"

Alpha's lips curled up in a smirk,

'Beauty with brain?

Nice!

And Alpha Bryson was fretting over leader for his Pack!"

Sophia folded the papers and placed the envelope on the table.

'Dad never admitted my potential. He always supported my brother, sticking to his old fashioned ideology. I am happy that he has finally got his most needed lesson."

She giggled and raised her head,

'I have an offer for you, Alpha. I have seen that you are good in business, it will be fun if you are also a good actor."

'I am all ears."

Alpha leaned forward, clasping his hands on the table.

'I am in love with Alpha Albus of the Blue Moon Pack. He has already rejected his mate for me. I have promised to do the same and Agam's death has already cleared my way. I know that you have no interest in me. What about you refuse to get married? I mean you got what you wanted then why bother with an arrange marriage?"

Alpha's eyes show flashes of interest and astonishment repeatedly. Rick was also amused by this so called daddy's princess.

'Well, that was a surprise from a cute and innocent beauty. I told you that her wolf is feral. I hate her."

He was insisting on accepting this deal but Alpha was not a stupid to fall for Sophia's trickery.

'I have no objection in marrying you. You are the one who is not willing. Why don't you announce it publically that you are against this alliance?"

Alpha called off her bluff easily, setting her dream of accusing him for everything on fire.

'Then tell me any better solution than this."

Sophia gritted her teeth, her eyes were turning golden as Rick was continuously growling at her wolf.

'What about your acting skills, Alpha Sophia?"

Her lips stretched in deep smile, a sign of admiration that Eric addressed her as his equal.

'You must have seen my good girl façade, what else do you want?"

'Good! From today onwards, we will act as we are very happy for this wedding. Keep good relationship with my mom and shop for everything you want for your wedding. At the time of Ceremony, I will personally send you off with Alpha Albus safely. Besides this stuff, I will gift you ten million dollars to keep this deal as a secret."

Hearing his fool proof plan, Sophia's eyes glittered with unadulterated joy.

'That's awesome! No one will believe that I ran away with someone. In fact, they will think that I got kidnapped at my Wedding day. Alpha Eric, you live up to your name!"

Alpha placed his hand on his chest as a response to her flattery. Rick was rolling in his mind,

'Is she nuts? Everyone will know about her love marriage when Alpha Albus will announce her as Luna. Such a brainless lady!"

Within fifteen minutes, they signed the contract papers and Eric gave her a check worth ten million dollars.

'One more thing, Alpha!"

Sophia turned back while leaving the office,

'That vampire girl, what are your intentions for her?"

'Fuck off!"

Rick growled at her again and Alpha hid his smile behind the coffee mug. He took a sip before replying her.

'What do you think?"

She sighed and placed her palms at his table.

'You are in love, Alpha Eric Dietor!"

Corners of his lips curled up. Eric nodded and opened the laptop to resume his work.

'You must be an expert in business but I am more experienced in love. Take my advice and arrange a crystal jar for your lover; she is a free butterfly. Be aware before she flew away and you stay here alone, regretting your overconfidence."

She threw him a provoking smile and left, leaving Eric in deep thoughts. Although their love was more stronger than iron but still Sophia's words arose an unease in his heart.

Eric decided to explain everything to Charlotte but at first he didn't get a chance and then Liam informed him about that bouquet. Her first gift, that damn omega spoiled his lover's present. Alpha was so angry that he snapped his neck and threw his body off the cliff.

But then Charlotte assured him that she was not in the need of any explanation. What a fool he was!

The Alpha Eric Dietor who never lost a mind game, got tricked by that little one who left right before his eyes, but he couldn't see her.

After that failed Ceremony, Liam handed him another basket with his gifted jewelry box and a letter.

'You saved my life and in return, I saved your friend's life. We are equal now. Good bye."

In just two sentences, Charlotte severed their relationship; every thread that was connecting them, rendering them strangers forever.

Eric was so hurt and furious at the same time. He lost the control and Rick took over him, tracking her presence. Leads of her scent ended at the Vampire Kingdom's borders; those who tried to stop Alpha got thrashed by him.

Noah and eight warrior wolves joined Vampire warriors to stop him but he was breaking their hold repeatedly. Then a young witch immobilized him, ending his episode of rage.

'Charlotte is safe among her kind. It was a mistake to send her in Werewolf Community from the beginning. Now, everything is back to it's rightful place. Go back to your Pack, Alpha! Don't look for her again."

Eric heard this warning while drowning in endless darkness as Noah injected the vial of wolfs-bane to sedate him.

But that mere advice didn't stop Eric from searching Charlotte. He sent a letter to Vampire King as their agreement stated that they will exchange criminals but that sly fox took it as a golden chance and kept Charlotte as a leverage. Vampire King Bahman sent him the reply that he will never set her free.

Then it became Alpha's life mission to end Vampire Royals. Years of planning, training, spies, sired ones even he took help from Alpha King to obtain the record of adult vampires as he remembered her 100th birthday. Eric was in capital when Alpha King gave him a list where Charlotte was listed as an adult Vampire.

'Noah, you will follow the leads of that sired vampire. He informed me that Charlotte will come out of Kingdom today."

And to his surprise, Noah's stalking took him to America, where she was staying from the last nine years.

'That leech is dead!"

Eric swore to slaughter King Bahman as an example for liars. He was expecting a good news when Noah informed him about Charlotte's escape once again.

"Find her at any cost, Noah. I am coming!"

But his plan went straight to hell when Alpha King planned to have annual security meeting out of the blue. What a timing!

Day one of fruitless discussion didn't solve anything, adding up to his frustration. Next morning, he was listening to the Alpha King mindlessly when Rick suddenly shouted,

'Mate!"

In the present.

Alpha Eric was sitting in his office, so engrossed in memories that he didn't notice when Beta Noah came in.

'Greetings, Alpha!"

Eric raised his head and knitted his brow, waiting for his update.

'I have checked about the student who was involved in Luna's abduction. Before I could catch him, he and his father died in a car crash. I am sorry Alpha, I was late."

Eric lifted his glass and took a sip, strong stench of red wine rejuvenated his mind.

'Check her life style in America, her friends, acquaintances, everything. Active your spies in the Vampire Kingdom too. I want a list of all unmated vampires."

Beta Noah bowed his head and left. Eric abandoned his glass and emptied the bottle in one go.

'Sooner or later, I am gonna kill that MF. No one will separate us ever again!"
