Jason held Mathew's arm,

'Sorry, we are sleeping. Moreover, Mathew is on official leave. You can leave now."

Eric handed him the envelope, and Liam's response was positive, as expected. They arranged fifteen over-efficient warriors and started working, as Alpha was urging them to move faster.

'You have messed up really bad, Eric."

Liam glanced at his friend, whose eyes were swollen due to lack of sleep.

'I know, thanks."

Eric was annoyed by this notion, as his guilt was consuming his soul every passing second.

'Apologize sincerely, Charlotte will understand."

Eric finger combed his hair, and chuckled.

'You think a simple apology is going to fix this?"

As his point was valid, Liam chose to stay silent.

'I don't believe in words of apology, Liam. A permanent change in behavior could only prove my sincerity to her."

Liam looked at his friend in awe and hugged him.

'I missed you, my friend. You disappeared behind the mask of a ruthless Alpha. I am happy to have you back."

Eric placed his hand on his back.

'I know that I ignored you all these years, but it wasn't intentional. I was busy in searching for my little one."

Liam cleaned the corners of his eyes and smiled.

'I assumed that you did not like my idea of being a sired vampire. No problem, I am with you. Let's crush this."
