"Alpha, Luna said she doesn't need food but I placed the food there"

Ascian nodded hearing the woman's voice whom he sent to give food to Mirela. Taking a deep breath he waited for a while and dismissed her. Then he walked out of the house wanting to see her but he stopped. He didn't want to go to her and hurt himself.


It was her own fault and that's why she's suffering. He warned her but yet she did it twice. His heart was cold and his eyes were sharp and dangerous. Without giving a damn about her, he turned and walked into the house again.

Walking into his study room, he grabbed the document about the new security system around schools. His heart tightened remembering the three kids who were killed brutally by rogues. He couldn't understand why he was having a rogue attack and who was that brave to attack Ascian Lucas's territory.

A bloodthirsty smirk appeared on his face, he's going to find that bastard and kill him brutally and avenge those innocent kids' lives. He spent his whole afternoon doing everything, then suddenly his beta barged into the study room.


"Alpha, Luna… escaped"

Ascian shot up from the chair and looked at his beta's face. His heart was hammering against his chest, his mind was going crazy. Subconsciously he curled his fists and clenched his jaws along with his muscles.


"How?"

He asked, the rage encompassing around him. His eyes let out savage fire. He was shocked, he can't understand how she did that.

"Breaking the chain with a rock, then she had hit the two guards with the chain"

His mind exploded hearing his beta, his body shook violently and he felt his heart was going to disappear. Taking a deep breath, he lowered his head. He looked at his arms which were injured by touching her leg cuffs.

"Stopped the guards you sent after her, let her go"

Ascian uttered. His beta's eyes widened hearing him, a little smile was playing on his lips but that smile was a pain filled one. He couldn't understand,is he going to let her go? Even after three years? Is he going to let her disappear from his life she did three years ago?

Ascian closed his eyes and listened to his wolf's movements, he was reckless and crying from the pain of losing her. He wanted to go after her and take her back to him. He didn't want to live without her.

His wolf loved her, he was obsessed with her.

"I'll follow her"

With that remark, he shifted into his wolf and ran towards out of the house as he followed her rose scent which was mixed with blood smell. His wolf was furious with him because of what he did to her. He was growling as he ran into the forest.

As he ran into the forest he saw two guards of him who were coming back, he knew they were the people who went to find her. They greeted Ascian's wolf but he ignored it because his mind was filled with her.

After running for a long time he finally saw her, his heart was stabbed by hundreds of knives as he saw her. She had no energy with her, she still had the leg cuffs on her legs even after she had broken the chain between them.

She was dragging herself towards the secret path he had shown her. His mind was a mess and he didn't know why she hadn't shifted into her wolf and ran away. She was in her tiny human form.

He watched her wanting to let her feel his scent and look back at him but he gained disappointment because she didn't feel his scent. His wolf was hurt and he was struggling to go to her but Ascian didn't let him. He wanted to follow her and protect her while she's escaping.

Soon she entered the path and walked away. With his clenching heart he followed her without letting her hear any sound of him. Her body was weak and she always took the support of trees to help herself.

'Why is she not shifting?' He asked himself.

Even though he did not know the answer, his wolf was hurt and crying as he followed her. Wearing her nightgown, he could see her body shape. She was always gorgeous and an intelligent woman but he couldn't understand why she's not shifting.

And the wounds on her were becoming worse. She wasn't healing quickly as before. He remembered one day her hand was cut and it healed within a second, her wolf could heal within a few seconds but what is this?

With thousands of questions in his mind, he followed her until the night arrived. She didn't take a rest, she just walked without even wearing shoes. Her smooth skin was cut. He knew she was going to that bloody pack but he was curious.

She was a woman who never lied, she said that she loved him even yesterday night. But he didn't know why she wanted to go there this much. He followed her for hours and finally she came into a little village-like place.

Then she immediately ran and knocked on a house's door. He stopped there and watched her but didn't go further there. An old woman opened the door and saw Mirela. She gasped and her eyes filled with tears, then she let Mirela come inside of the house.

Ascian was still there looking at the door which was closed, his heart told him that she won't stay there for so long. And as he expected she came out of the house with new clothes. She had taken off her cuffs. Wearing a long skirt, no one could see her wounds but he didn't miss how shaky her legs were. Then she smiled at the old woman and walked away.

Ascian's wolf walked and followed her, then he looked around and shifted back to his human form. Then he walked and found a room, where wolves keep their clothes to wear when they come after a run. Grabbing pants, he wore it and ignored that his upper body was naked. He followed her scent.

His heart suddenly turned cold seeing her going towards Hale's house. He clenched his jaws along with his muscles and watched her walking and he stopped at a place where he could see her clearly.

She knocked on the door of Hale's house and soon it was opened by the Luna of that. Ascian took a few steps ahead wanting to grab Mirela and take her back with him.

"Mirela…. Oh my moon goddess"

Luna cried as she hugged Mirela, then breaking the hug she smiled at her.

"Come in"

She said, but Mirela shook her head and wiped her tears. Then suddenly her face covered with the same beautiful smile that she always had when she was with him three years ago. His heart tightened seeing her smile.

'Is she smiling at Hale?'

'Does she really love him?'

So many questions surged into his mind and at the same time anger filled his heart. She was his and he was not going to give her to another man.

"MOMMA…."

Ascian's whole body froze hearing a little boy's voice and soon a little boy ran out of the house and jumped onto her arms as he hugged her and buried his face against her body. His body was shaking and he watched them for a while before his eyes fell on her face.

She was crying, but at the same time she was smiling as if she got her world back. She kissed his head full of love then she carried him hard.

"Momma, where did you go? I waited."

Hearing the little boy speaking, his heart shook violently. He forced his eyes on him but he couldn't see his features but soon the milky scent he followed yesterday spread through his nose.

His wolf howled from happiness, he was fully satisfied now. The thing he searched ever since Mirela came with him was now in front of him.

"Let's go baby, we need to leave here"

She spoke and kissed his forehead. His eyes didn't move from the boy she was carrying and soon he saw the boy's emerald eyes which made his heartbeat go wild. He lost his sanity and strode towards her.

"MIRELA.." he roared.

Then she looked at him with horror and hugged the boy in her arms tightly as if she was protecting the boy from him. She was scared and her tears rolled down from her eyes.

"Is this what you fucking hid from me?"
