Two weeks had passed, but Mirela was still unconscious. Ascian was there with her every night after putting Ahren to sleep. And it was another day, he went to the hospital and pulled a chair as he sat beside her bed.

Looking at her, his heart clenched. There were no words to describe the pain he was feeling. His mind was a mess, he wanted to know what exactly happened to her and why her wolf is not here with her. Even if his heart kept telling him the reason, he didn't want to believe it.


"Mirela.. Wake up" he muttered helplessly.

This is the first time he felt this kind of feeling, he was waiting for her to wake up. He waited for two weeks but still gained nothing. He sighed and took her hand as he caressed the back of her palm.

The scars of her body were still there, her perfect and clean skin was covered with scars but so many of them were created by him. Ascian waited for a while and rested his forehead on the bed as he closed his eyes. He hasn't slept in two weeks, even if he slept for a while it was always with Ahren when he asked Ascian to be with him until he falls asleep.


Ascian slowly fell asleep resting his head on the bed, after sometime he felt someone was touching his hair. He immediately lifted his head and looked at Mirela who was touching his hair with a small smile playing on her lips.

He sighed in relief seeing that she had finally woken up, caressing her face for a while Ascian got up from the chair and walked out of the hospital room as he called the doctor. Then he came back and looked at Mirela. Her eyes were closed as if she had fallen asleep again.


Without making a noise, the doctor checked her and nodded at Ascian as they walked out of the room. Ascian stopped and looked at the doctor wanting to know every detail about her.

"How's she?" He asked.

Then the doctor waited for a while and sighed before lowering his head. Ascian's heart tightened seeing his action and his heart was covered with fear. Then taking a deep breath he clenched his jaws.

"Alpha, the scars on her body will not disappear because she can't be healed without her wolf. And about her body, she's so weak, she needs rest."

"And especially, Alpha, she cannot give birth to children again. Even if she got pregnant, she can't endure the pain of it and there's a high possibility to lose her life"

Ascian froze hearing him, his heart was beating fast with horror. Lose her life? No way, he doesn't need children. He already has one and that's enough. Ahren can be the next alpha and also he will take care of everything when he grows up.

"Alright, can't I take her home?" He asked.

Then the doctor waited for a while and nodded at him. Ascian sighed in relief because finally he could take her home.

"Alpha, you want me to arrange someone to take care of her?"

Ascian shook his head as he heard the doctor. He doesn't need one, he already has someone to take care of her. Waiting for a while, Ascian again looked at the doctor as he moved closer to him and spoke.

"About her wolf? Can't we take her back?"

Even if he knew the answer, he just wanted to try and get her wolf back. He didn't want her to spend a life like this. She was a werewolf and a werewolf was useless without a wolf. She was nothing but similar to a human now.

"We can't do anything about it alpha. She should be the only one who can wake her wolf up" the doctor said as he let out a deep sigh.

"Alright, I'll take her tomorrow morning when she wakes up" Ascian said as he walked away from the hospital room. As he walked out of the hospital, he looked up at the sky and clenched his jaws.

His mind was a freaking mess, how the fuck he's going to protect her now? She can't do anything for herself but he was relieved because Ahren was with him. Even if he hadn't found out about Ahren he has no idea what will happen.

Mirela didn't have any desire to let him know about his son because of the anger she had for him. Walking towards the house, Ascian rubbed his forehead with annoyance.

"Alpha.."

Hearing a woman's voice, he stopped and looked in the direction in which he heard it. Then he saw the same woman he was with when he found Mirela. His eyes turned cold seeing her, raising his brows and he waited until she spoke.

"Alpha, is it okay if I accompany you tonight?" she asked shyly.

His lips slowly curled upwards to a smirk and he stepped closer to her as he glanced at her. He didn't know why this woman kept coming after him even after knowing what kind of relationship he kept with other women. He never took the same woman twice and that disgusts him.

"I have my son to accompany me. Don't ever let me see your damn face again"

He carefully watched the way her face changed and his heart turned cold. He clearly knew what they needed. He paid every woman who he slept with because they needed nothing but money and this woman is also no different than others.

Watching her face for a while he turned to leave, but he was stopped by her voice again.

"Alpha.. I.. like you"

A chuckle escaped from Ascian as he turned and looked at her. He smirked and looked at the woman in front of him and shook his head sarcastically.

"Didn't you hear that your Luna came to the pack?" he asked.

The woman in front of him clenched her fists and lowered her head without answering. Seeing her reaction, he knew one thing. This woman is going to hurt Mirela soon or later, her eyes held the thirst for power.

"She is the woman I like and she's also the mother to my son, so you better stay away and don't ever think about getting her place. You know how your alpha punishes for little mistakes" he warned her.

This will be his first and last warning, he never warns someone twice. If they still do the same thing, they will get nothing but death. Every man and woman was similar to him except Mirela, because he had warned her countless times but yet she ignored him as if his words were nothing to him.

But he doesn't mind it because she was the chosen one for him by the moon goddess and he knew she was really stubborn.

"Don't let me see you again. Now fuck off"

Turning to leave he said, then walked away wanting to go to Ahren as soon as possible. Ahren was also like him when he was a kid. He always gets hungry late at the late night so he should be there.

Entering the house, he walked upstairs as he entered his room. Then his heart tightened not seeing Ahren inside of the room.

"Fuck.." he cursed as he looked everywhere inside of the room.

"Ahren, where are you?"

He spoke loudly, then waited for a while but yet he was not there. His heart was beating fast with horror and he immediately ran out of the room. He was scared and at the same time furious.

"Daddy.."

Ascian stopped and looked back as he sighed in relief. He walked towards Ahren and looked down at him. Then he pressed his lips together not wanting to laugh at his son.

"Well, you peed on the bed?" he asked, forcing his laugh back.

Ahren watched his face for a while and looked down with a blush. Then he again looked up at him with his big bright eyes which were already covered with tears.

"Are you forcing your laugh daddy?"

Ascian immediately shook his head and picked him up as he walked into the washroom. How the hell did he laugh at his own son? He was like this too. His father also did the same thing when he was a kid.

"It's okay Ahren. Don't mind it, okay? Let's just take a bath together and then daddy will remove sheets" he sighed and said as he kissed Ahren's forehead.
