"Mirela, I'm taking Ahren with me."

Mirela was washing dishes as she heard Ascian's voice. She stopped what she was doing and looked back at Ascian who was carrying Ahren and standing at the entrance of the kitchen. She watched him for a while and looked at Ahren who was giggling happily. She sighed and nodded.


"Come before four in the evening" gazing at both son and father, she muttered and turned as she started to do what she was doing. Then again she turned back and looked at Ascian with a frown.

"Ascian you're not allowed to show how cruel the world is to him! you got it?" she asked. She knew what kind of man he was and what his intentions were. He wanted Ahren to be strong and dangerous like he was so Mirela clearly knew he's going to show Ahren the cruel reality.

"He's my son Mirela." with that answer he just walked away with Ahren. Wiping her hands, she followed them and stopped at the door watching Ascian taking Ahren away. Ahren looked back at her and smiled waving his little hand.


She couldn't help but smile because of his cuteness. Waving her hand back at him, she smiled and watched them. Then Ascian also turned back and looked at her, she didn't want to wave at him or smile at him because of his actions in the morning. Frowning at him, she entered the house. Walking back into the kitchen, she finished all the work and then had breakfast.

After having breakfast, she walked out of the house wanting to water the plants. While she was doing it, she felt someone was looking at her. Moving her eyes, she looked at the familiar face. Her heart slightly hurt seeing the woman who was looking at her, she was the one who was with Ascian that day.


Mirela's mind started to show how Ascian was touching her that day, and how his hand slowly lifted her dress. Forcing those pictures she looked at the woman with a questioning gaze. Mirela didn't know why she came here and looked at her, but her heart tightened with the thought of something bad was going to happen.

"Luna, my name is Elexa. Can I have some time to talk to you? It's really important" hearing her, Mirela hesitated for a while but she managed to nod at her. Then she led Elexa towards the bench in the courtyard.

"What do you want to talk about with me?" she asked, looking at the woman. Mirela started to examine her features, she was wearing heavy makeup. She was not natural at all. But it doesn't have anything to do with Mirela so she just stopped examining her features and looked at her brown eyes wanting to know why she came here.

"I'm sorry for bothering you at this time Luna but I need to tell you something really important. I'm so sorry for telling you this" Mirela's heart raced unknowingly, she didn't know why but she felt fear. She clutched her skirt tightly and looked at her.

"I.. I'm pregnant with Alpha's child" Mirela's heart shattered into pieces hearing it. Her lips parted as if she wanted to say something but no word came out. She forcefully smiled at the woman in front of her and finally managed to speak.

"How can I believe that it's his child?" she somewhat believed Ascian when it comes to children. She knew that he didn't have any desire to have more children. He was obsessed with Ahren, he even said that he has a son and that's enough.

"How can I prove it, Luna? The child is still in my womb. If you don't believe me you can just wait until I give broth to this child and then you can see" Mirela frowned looking at her and then stayed silent for a moment. She didn't believe the woman in front of her. She was not a dumb woman when it comes to the matters like these.

"Well, when did he sleep with you? It's been months since I came here so even if he slept with you before I came here, you should already have a big belly now. So I'm asking you, when did he sleep with you?"

Mirela's question was straight, she watched the woman's face searching for an answer from her. Elexa clenched her jaws and lowered her face as it turned pale. Looking at her, Mirela sighed and shook her head.

"You can't lie to me about pregnancy. I gave birth to his son two and half years ago. So I know how hard it was to give birth to a child with Lucas blood."

"If you're really pregnant with Ascian's child, you can't just simply stay like you're staying now. No matter how strong you are or how weak you are, giving birth to an alpha with Lucas blood is not easy. I have the experience and I know it very well. So please don't lie to me"

"If he ever wanted a child with you, why did he wait until now? He had three years to make you pregnant and give birth to a child. Not after I came here and not after he found his son. So please leave, don't lie to me. I won't mention this to him but be careful next time! You know what will happen if he found about what you said"

Mirela got up from the bench and turned to leave not wanting to talk to Elexa, she knew that it was all a lie so she just didn't want to spend more time with a woman who lies about her son's father. Looking back at Elexa again, she walked away. As she walked, she felt someone was following her, then she stopped and turned back as she saw Elexa who was looking at her with both hatred and anger.

"Why are you looking at me like that? If you want to hurt me, try it. You know who Ascian Lucas is!" Mirela said emotionlessly.

Her tone was strict and angry. She was warning Elexa. Mirela was weak, she knew that she can't fight against a she-wolf so the only shield she had was Ascian. Everyone feared him and using his name will always save her. Even if she got hurt, the opponent will think twice before hurting her if they heard the name of the king alpha.

Suddenly, at the same time, Mirela heard a sound of a loud and furious growl. She knew that it belonged to Ascian. She turned and looked at Ascian who had a murderous look on him. A reflective shudder ran through Mirela's body seeing how he looked. He watched Mirela head to toe and strode towards them. Walking past Mirela, he grabbed Elexa by her hair making her yelp from pain.

Then he didn't waste any second. He just threw her away as she hit the nearest wall of the garage. Mirela was shocked, she didn't expect Ascian to do something like that. Fear took over her as she immediately walked towards him and stopped him from walking towards her.

"Ascian… stop. You can't hurt her.." Mirela said as he stopped and looked at her. His eyes were red, letting out the savage fire of anger. She sighed and watched him until his eyes turned normal.

"She will die if you hurt her! So please don't" she sighed and said. Then he watched her for a while and took her hand walking towards Elexa who was already bleeding. Mirela's heart tightened seeing her, she slowly pulled her hand from Ascian and bent down as she gave her hand to Elexa just to stand up.

But Elexa looked at Mirela with hatred filled eyes and gritted her teeth before slapping her hand away. Suddenly, Ascian pushed Mirela away and bent, grabbing Elexa's hair again. He watched her face for a while.

"Is this how you treat your Luna? Huh? I think you don't have any desire to live anymore. I fucking warned you woman!" Ascian snarled and hit her head against the wall with rage.

"Ascian… stop. Don't hurt women! She's weaker than you and stop it!"

"You're killing her. Stop it!"
