The room door opened, I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me that it was Axel. No one else could open the door with such confidence.

I held out my hand to embrace him smiling, but he looked annoyed, and my hands dropped with my smile. He stood at the door looking at me intently.


Did I do anything? Maybe I had annoyed him.

He walked to my side and held me in his hands.

'I don't know what I did for the Moon Goddess to give you to me, but you are my blessing and undoing."

Oh, he's sad, not annoyed. I thought.

I wonder what happened today, I was worried sick about him till Sean came to tell me that he was fine.

'Axel, are you listening to me?" I asked, patting his back, and it seemed to make him relax.

'Wait, I want to hold you in my arms more, you fit it," he mumbled. I nodded and held him.

After minutes of holding me in complete silence, he drew his head back slightly, looking at me.

'What happened, Axel?" I asked again.

'My pack doesn't want me because I'm the Mistress child, they said I'm not fit to be the Alpha, I'm tired, I have always been ridiculed because of that," he said softly.

"Don't let whatever they say get to you, you are a good Alpha, you and no one else. You have to stand strong and ignore the criticisms. I consoled him.

He smiled and brushed his rough, large hand over my face, caressing my face. I closed my eyes, enjoying the movement of his hand on my body.

He bent and bit my breasts through my dress. I moved back from his grip but his hand prevented me from doing so.




'Axel, please stop."

'No I don't want to, I want you to squirm under me," he said, kissing my neck.




He began to unzip my dress, palming my back and I moaned, curling my toes. I need to stop him before he goes too far. My heart wants to stop him, but my body loves to betray me.

'It's the mate bond, don't fight it," Axel said in between his light kisses on my body. My center throbs and aches for him.

"Axel, stand up and take your bath, " I said, scrunching my nose like he stinked so he would let me go. He looked at me crossed.

"Wait a little, I want to caress you more."

"Do you know you're a big baby?" I said, laughing.




"I'm not, you just know how to make me crazy," he mumbled.




"Axel I'm here, go and take your bath." He groaned and I looked for a way to get myself out of his hold.

'Fine, but in return I would get to hold you as much as I want," he said, walking into the bathroom. I laughed.




I remembered I didn't have any of my clothes, so I decided to go and bring some.




I met Allison on my way, she stopped in front of me and stared at me with hate in her eyes.

'What did you do to Axel?" She asked. I was confused.




'Do? How? I didn't do anything to him and, you know that,"I retorted.




"You and I know you did something to him, since you came here, you stole his attention from me. I was his favorite before you showed your miserable self," she said angrily. I smiled, triggering her anger more and she held her fist.

"It's actually because I'm more beautiful, curvy, mannered than you. Look at you. Your face would scare a newborn baby, fix it before coming to ask me such meaningless questions."




"How dare you?" She screamed. I flipped my hair and walked past her.




"Ouch," I said when she pulled my hair suddenly. I removed my hair from her grip and twisted her hands and pulled her hair. She whimpered.




" Stop!" she sobbed.




'Say you are sorry."




'Neverrr!" she said.




'Okay, good I can do this all day," I said, pulling her hair more.




"I'm sorry," she said finally, and I released her.

She dashed for me but suddenly started crying. I looked at her with surprise.




I looked up and saw Axel resting on the wall with his hand folded with no expression on his face. So that's why she started pretending.




With the way she was sobbing, Axel would believe her.




'Alpha, I didn't do anything to her, and she started pulling my hair," she explained when he didn't say anything.

He started walking close to us, I braced myself up for his scolding. Allison smiled slightly when he looked at me. I stepped backward.

He came close to me, I closed my eyes and raised my hands to cover my face.

Soon I couldn't feel the ground when I opened my eyes, I found myself in his arms. He didn't scold me. Why?..!!!!




He opened his room and I looked at Allison, she was so furious and I smiled a little.




Immediately we got to his room, I tried to come down from his hold but he held me there.




'I'm sorry, I didn't have the intention of fighting her back, but I was so annoyed," I explained. He was silent.




'Axel??" I called him and he looked at me.




'I know you don't have to explain," he said, smiling.




I smiled back, and I pecked him on the side of his lips, shocking him.




'Don't wake my junior, pumpkin," he said, with his husky. I laughed.

"You should laugh some more. I love the way your eyes light up when you do and the rich sound of your laughter," he complimented, and I blushed.

'Stop, put me down," I said, hiding my face in his chest.

"I want you to, you look adorable when you blush," he said.




'Axel put me down, I want to take my bath," I said.




I pulled myself down from his arms rushing inside the bathroom to take my bath.
