AXEL'S POV





'Huh, what did you say?" She looked at me with horror all over her.

"You heard me, Vanessa, I want to see you in it," I said, hiding my amusement.


' No, I will not, it's too embarrassing and besides maybe Emily bought it for herself and I need to return it back to her," she said looking innocent. I couldn't wait to see it on her.

With her voluptuous soft hips I was sure the lingerie would be one hell of a hot scene.

'No, it's not, I'm your mate, and I want to see you in it please," I said persuading her.

"Hope you won't tell anybody about it?" She asked shyly.

'And make them imagine how your glorious body looks like, no I won't "

"Promise me," she said looking at me intently. I laughed.

"I promise, pumpkin."

"Pinky promise?" She said holding out her little finger and we did a pinky promise.

Her sudden childishness was amusing to me.

'Okay, I will wear it, but not now," she said, I knew she was still shy. I smiled.

'I would be right back, I need to tell Sean what he should do but tonight is going to be fun and I want to sleep in with you," I said, and she blushed.

I went to my office where Sean was already waiting for me. He stood immediately I entered and bowed. I sat and gestured for him to do same.

'Your highness, you sent for me," he said.

'Yes I did, I want you to represent me in the conference at the Blood pack, but before that, give the men their bonuses. Finally I don't want to be bothered until I come out of my room, do you understand?" I asked to clarify myself to avoid mistakes.

'Yes Alpha, I will get on to your orders," he said bowing lowly. I stood up and left.

'Your highness," I stopped sniffing the air I knew it was Octavia from her perfume. Wait, she used the nectar from the mountains, it is used by women to lure their mates to them.

She came to my side and began caressing me and I wished it was Vanessa's hands instead. I pushed her away from me.

'Octavia I believe you know where you belong, don't overstep or else you will fall," I said.

The effect of the nectar was already having an effect on me and I felt the need to hold a woman.

I walked fast to my room.

'Oh shit!" I said the moment I entered the room.

Vanessa was wearing the lingerie, my eyes turned black with lust and I rushed her, I knew she got frightened but the nectar had already cloaked my reasoning.

'Axel you said I should wear these, what made you into this?" She asked worriedly.

'Your body is too enticing to look without getting aroused," I said.

'Axel, get a grip of yourself, why are you doing this?" She said. I was listening to her but I wasn't heeding to anything she's saying.

'I will, tomorrow but for now let me," I said pleading. Damm Octavia and her arousing perfume.

Vanessa puled herself from my grip with a strength I didn't know she possessed and I was shocked.

She came to me and held me in her arms soothing like a child. How did she know what was going on.

I led her to the bed and she held me till the effects of the drug had began to reduce, I held her more close to the extent my face was on her breasts.

After an hour, all the effects had left my body, I was very annoyed with Octavia.

'How did you know what was wrong with me?" I asked curious.

"Something was wrong? I didn't know, I just felt the urge to hold you in my arms and embrace. She explained.

"Oh that's the mate bond," I said proudly.

'Axel what was wrong with you when you came in?" she asked worriedly.

"Nothing, pumpkin," I answered enjoying my face on her body.

"You don't like to tell me stuffs, why?" she asked angrily.

'Fine, it was Octavia."

"Octavia!! How? What did she do?

'She tried seducing me with the nectar of the wild flower from the top of Mount Rio." I explained.

"Oh, did you do anything with her," she asked. Jealous mate.

"Nothing I promise you, I rushed in here before it could get worse.

'At least you are fine that's what matters," she said smiling at me and I felt contented.

'You are the best," I said. She smiled.

A knock was heard on the room's door and I groaned.

'I will get it don't worry" she said wearing my robe.

'My lady please tell the alpha that two of his concubines just died now," a guard said.

'What!!!?"

Vanessa came to my side and held me.

'We we would be down Shortly" I replied.

'Yes my Alpha," the guard said bowing and he left.

Vanessa walked back into the room looking shocked. She began to panic.

'What could have happened to them?" She asks scared.

" I can't tell until I get a medical report, calm down nothing would happen to you." I said to pacify her fear.

'Let's go out and see what's going on down there."

I held her hands and walked to their room and the other concubines gathered around the covered dead bodies.

I saw Vanessa looking to find Emily, and I was very relieved when I saw her crying at a corner. She walked to her and held her in her arms.

'Don't cry Emily please don't," Vanessa consoled her.

'She left me and that wasn't our plan," Emily explained. I knew she was talking about her best friend Hannah.
