'Octavia if you have anything important to say, then do so quickly because Axel is waiting for me at the dining room and I don't want to keep him waiting," I said rolling my eyes.

'You call him Axel?" She asked as she stared at me shocked, I smiled inwardly.

'Any problem?" I said.


"No, actually I wanted to invite you to dinner, I'm preparing only for the concubines." She said smiling sweetly, though I know she was anything but sweet.

"I am sorry but I'm not interested in any dinner you or any of the other concubines are preparing."


'Why?"

'Because I'm not interested, if you may excuse me I would take my leave now, Axel must be very worried about me," I said as I began walking away.

"When did you become this bold?" She asked in surprise.

I stopped on my tracks, and turned smiling at her and I continued walking.

'I'm talking to you Vanessa, don't walk away when I'm still talking."

"Oh, really, And you are?"

'The first concubine, your senior here," she replied feeling high and mighty of herself.

"Okay, your highness," I said scoffing as I walked about on her leaving her dumbfounded.

Axel was about standing up when I entered, and he looked at me with worry lines all over his handsome smooth face.

'What happened? Why did you take so long to come back, I was getting worried, I thought Derek or Kael had done something wrong to you". He said as I sat down.

'I am sorry, brushing my hair took a lot of time than I expected," I replied smiling. He smiled back as the maids brought in the meal.

Derek walked in at the same time, and I frowned, what a way to spoil the happy moment Axel and I was having .

'Derek what are you doing here?" I gutted my eyes tiredly.

'Eating of course, since you wouldn't invite me, then I must eat uninvited. What do we have for lunch?" He smashed, while smirking at the maid who was blushing crimson red. I rolled my eyes at how shameless he could be.

I touched Axel when he tried saying something next angrily. He looked at me and breathed in, we contined eating with Derek smiling like he had won a great prize.

After eating some mouthfuls, I stood up.

'I'm filled, Axel, why don't we go back to our room." I said to Axel smiling. He understood what I was trying to do and he stood up too.

Derek was still smiling mischievously when we left.

'What's his problem, why can't he believe his best friend?"

'I don't blame him pumpkin, mates makes one blind. I would do worse if he does anything to you," I smiled.

"Finally, now we are free from every distractions, I would take you where I wanted to all this while."

"Tell me what it is I am already getting curious?" I said tugging at his shirt.

He chuckled and he patted my hair. 'You will see it when you get there." I frowned.


'Stop frowning, it will mar your beautiful face, and I dont want that," he said and I blushed.


We got to the palace orchard and I looked surprised.



"The place is the orchard?" I asked looking amused.

"No Pumpkin, chill. Don't ask too many questions."


He walked ahead of me and touched one of the trees when a flat platform in a shape of man's hand appeared mysteriously and I looked at it amazed.


"You have magic Axel, wow!" I exclaimed laughing.

"No Pumpkin, actually, my white witch friend Isla made this for me when I was eighteen to help me have somewhere to relax away from the pack and it's stressful duties.

No one else knows about it now since she died in a fight between her and twenty black witches.

And I made it a promise to take my mate here some day, this would be where me and my kids would stay for some father and child time," he said looking happy. I couldn't help but blush at how cheesy he sounded.

'Oops! I was lost talking, and I forgot I needed to take you in, I'm sorry about that," he said as he placed his hand on the door and it opened.

"I'm sorry about her death, it seems you both were so close."

'It's fine, it happened a long time ago," he said smiling and waving it off.

'Wow! So you are the only one that can access it right?" I asked.

"Yes, but I'm going to make you open it too."

"Why? This is your private space I wouldn't want to intrude."

"And you are my mate, you must be able to open it incase the need arises."

'Oh, that's nice, Thank you, Axel," I said smiling.

He placed my hand on the tree and it glowed and something pierced my skin, I whined lookimg up to Axel, and he smiled.

'Don't worry, it is syncing your blood and soon it would recognize you are my mate and grant you access." I was amazed.

The glowing from the tree stopped as a part of the tree in a shape of a door opened and I was happy.

'Can I go in?"

'Of course, I brought you here to show you the interim and not the exterior." He smiled as he led the way inside.

I was expecting to enter a tiny space but I was amazed to see that it looked like a house with gold furnishings all around it.

'Wow, it's so beautiful, I wish I could stay here forever?"

'I wish so too, but we can't, we can't leave the pack unattended for too long," he said, as he walked closer to me, I blushed as I walked away from him.

'Good thing, we are the only one here, I want to hear you moan loudly and only for my ears alone." He held me while kissing me, moulding my ass cheeks as his kiss smouldered my moans.
