'I understand his pain and that's why I wanted to help him achieve our aim, but it's hard now because I was sent to make him fall in love with me, I accomplished that, but I fell in love with him too." I whispered.


"Shush I know, love makes us strong and weak at the same time. I understand your feelings because I have been there. When I met Adam, I wasn't planning on falling in love with him because of the rumors I heard about him, but here I am falling and falling deeply," she said, smiling like someone who was smitten, and I smiled.



"You are the only one that understands, and I can't tell you how pleased I am for your support and care." I hugged her as she patted my back.



"You are welcome, my little baby," she said, and I couldn't help but smile. Racheal, sure knows how to make someone's mood lighter.


"Yes ma'am." And she pulled me back slowly pecking me on my forehead.


"You know what, I will tell you as a fellow woman like you? Follow your heart but use your brain, it will help you," she whispered into my ear. My eyes watered at her kind being.


"I love you so much," I said.

' I love you more."

'Now, go and make me proud, I'm off to work," she smiled as she walked away immediately.

I went back into my room and took my bath. I was very frustrated and fed up with what was going on in my life.

I miss Axel so badly, maybe if I had told him I was a human, maybe he would have understood, and still kept me. At least he wouldn't have been hurt in that way.

I could not believe Emily would do something like this to me, and she was acting like she really cared about me all the while, and I never suspected she was deceiving me.but I will never trust anyone that easily any more.

And Octavia that I thought hated me wasn't even that sneaky and deadly as her. Really, Emily was a green snake in green grass.

My thoughts got interrupted by a knock on my door, I walked to the door and opened it. It was Hilda the maid with my food, I smiled as she went in and dropped it.

'Ma'am, sorry, I was instructed by Sir Adams to make sure you finish your meal, and also, tell you to meet him by six am tomorrow morning," she said.

'Okay, thank you Hilda," I replied smiling. She left and I closed the door.

I sat down and began eating my meal slowly remembering how I and Axel would always eat together in his room whenever I was too lazy to go down to the dining room. Tears ran down my eyes, and I wiped it away. This wasn't the time to cry. He chased me away and I would never forget that.

I ate my meal, and Hilda came in to take the plates away. I thanked her and she looked at me pityingly.

'I'm fine Hilda, don't look at me with that expression like I'm dying any time soon," I joked, and she left laughing. I sobered up immediately after she left.


'Rhea enough of sulking and hurting yourself for a man," I shouted at myself. I plopped myself down on my bed unattractively.


'Miss Rhea wake up, it's morning already, and Sir wants to see you," Hilda said, and I stretched my body without opening my eyes.

"Isn't it too early?" I said with my sleep coated mind.

"No ma'am, it's seven am already, and sir is annoyed already," she explained.


Immediately I heard that, I ran out of the bed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I will shower whenever I come back, Adam is not a man you would keep waiting. I'm quite surprised that he had the patience to wait an hour more, it seems he's going soft.

I knocked at his study's door and he asked me to open, I walked in quietly and his eyes were closed.

'Why did you take the whole day even when I gave you a time to be here? Didn't Hilda send my message across to you?" He asked with his eyes still closed.

'I am sorry, Hilda told me," I quickly defended her, else he would do something or remove her salary if he gets annoyed even for a second.

'If you were to be someone else I wouldn't have hesitated to punishing you. But I don't want to."

"I am sorry, for keeping you waiting sir," I apologized, and asked him what he wanted so I could quickly leave his bugging presence.

'You are going back to Blood Moon pack to finish what you started," he said finally.

'But I can't go like this, Axel will not linger a bit before asking his guards to kill me," I said frowning. If he wanted me dead, then he should have done it easier and faster .

'Stop acting foolishly, I thought you were wise but it seems your brain is like that of a pigeon if not smaller."

I rolled my eyes and frowned at his reply, what's the point of the insults?

"So how do I get there?" I asked instead.

'Good question, that's what you should have asked the moment you walked in here but you decided to be a b!tch."


The only one worse than Adam is the Devil, that's if he's not worse than the Devil. I wish I could just strangle him, I knew from the onset when he started acting nice to me that he would show his true self soon.

I don't know how Rachael managed to tame him towards her, he was only lovey-dovey towards her.

"Well, you will go back there as a guard."

"How, I am neither a guard nor a male? How would you make it possible?" I asked, looking surprised.

'Rhea, shut up and let me finish," he roared. I zipped my mouth and reclined in my chair more.

"I am going to change your appearance to that of a guard there."

'Do you have magic?"


'No Rhea, no! Your questions are really exasperating, a witch would be the one doing it."

I nodded, what more could I do.
