"Go in, ignore me, you will lose the throne like you lost your woman because of your disgusting self. Nobody wants to stay with you, a better and more deserving man will take her and make her happy unlike you." I said so to trigger him but he ignored me and went inside. I was so furious and humiliated, I can't wait for when my plans would be executed and I will gain control as the Alpha and I will make sure he gets punished for the way he was talking to me.


I went back home to deliberate with myself inwardly that I shouldn't have gone there but I was just curious since I haven't noticed any of his spies stalking me. His silence always bugs me, I prefer to have an idea of his next moves.

'You went to the palace right?" Melissa asked while I was sulking inwardly. She came to my back and started massaging my face and neck.

" How did you know?"


"You are only in terrible moods like this whenever you come back from seeing your stubborn little nephew," she replied accurately.

"Fine, I went there because his silence was disturbing, so I wanted to trigger him in saying something but he was silent all through, looking at me like someone lost in thoughts," I said and Melissa looked at me quizzically. Axel wasn't a man who would lose his composure in public.


"He misses that woman he chased away, that's for sure."

'Are you sure? He didn't say anything despite everything I said about her."

'He was so hurt the day he found out that she was a human and he hasn't been going out to his affairs like the workaholic he was. Now he didn't answer you or rather he was lost in thoughts of who else if not her?" She said and I smiled as I began to understand her points.

'So she is his weakness, but she's not his mate, so I don't see any reason why he would be bothered about her," I said.

'Forget about her, Jason, she's no longer our problem," Melissa said.

"I know I was just curious. I will have to see some of the men on my side to finalize everything."

"Okay." Melissa wasn't talking much today unlike other days but I just waved it off as sleepiness. I stood up and left my house in the car.

Driving in the dark with my mind filled with the thoughts of Axel and the throne, I know my brother would not be happy with me due to the way I was fighting his son over what is rightly his, but I don't care about the dead.

I got to the venue and walked in, the other men were already waiting for me, and I sat down at the head of the table.

'Sorry for taking so long, I got involved in some business trivialities."

'No problem, prince," my right hand man said, and I nodded. He was the only man I trusted here because we have been through thick and thin together.

'So now I'm here, we can start," I said starting the meeting.

So many plans were brought to the table, but none was as fulfilling as that of my right man. It has the right amount of foolery and sensibility attached to it.

"Marvelous Plan Franco." That's not his real name though, but we address each other with nicknames like that to avoid the case where someone might be eavesdropping and will have access to our identity.

"Thank you prince. I'm glad you like it," he said smiling.

We casted a poll and all the men supported his idea meaning it was accepted and all that was left was to be implemented. That's the easiest part though.

'So we will start the plan immediately and take moves with caution and precision. If anything goes wrong, then we are doomed," I warned as I couldn't afford to see the plan go wrong.

'We will be careful sir. But about what we would get after helping you get the throne hope you still have them in mind?"

"Yes, I do." I lied, knowing I would kill them off with the help of Franco to avoid leak out, Franco's idea though.

They smiled among themselves rubbing their hands greedily. I looked at them with disgust : greedy old fools that were supposed to help their Alpha, were already betraying him for some mere promises.


'Now, you can take your leave. The meeting is over." I dismissed them and they left immediately. I sat back with Franco to discuss some issues amongst ourselves.

'You are still going to get rid of these fools right? They don't deserve to live, they will turn back and stab you in the back if you let them live after you take the throne."

"Don't worry Franco, your idea is going to be used. That's not our problem."

'Good. So which problem are we talking about?" Franco asked.

'I want to get rid of Melissa too."

He looked at me with a shocked expression on his face but he quickly sobered up and lowered his voice more.

"Why? She's your mate and you need her a lot. She has always been there for you," Franco reminded me. I started laughing out very loudly causing Franco to squint his eyebrows like I had gone crazy.

"What's funny Prince?"

"Your face when I said that. How would you expect me to kill her after everything we have been through."


"Phew, I was shocked for a minute, I thought you had gone absolutely mad," he said, smiling a little bit.

That was a lie I was merely laughing to ease up the tension, I wanted him to be the one that would kill her but he doesn't look like he can.

Secondly, I can see in his eyes that he will betray me later, trusted or not trusted.I will get rid of Melissa and him also.
