AXEL P.O.V

My uncle's words pierced my heart in tiny bits as I drowned in my whiskey. Alcohol was the only thing that made me feel better so, I drank more and more.


Camille walked in limbing, I knew it was because of what happened between us. I rolled my eyes at her.

'What do you want?" I asked, looking at the wall.

'I was worried when you left immediately, and I decided to find you," she said, holding the wall acting more pitiful so she can get my attention.


'I am fine, now get out," I growled out in anger and she looked at me with fear and pain.

'After what you did to me…" she was interrupted by the sound of the bottle I was holding breaking into tiny pieces. She scrambled out crying.


'Disgusting thing," I said, spitting in disgust.

If they were thinking I would choose one of them immediately Vanessa left then they were the biggest jokers in the world. I would never let another woman into my bed or my heart.

I stood up, enough of the drinking and sulking. I won't find Vanessa by sitting, I have to get on my feet. I asked a guard to get Damian before going into my office. He walked in immediately.

'Damian, please get the white witch for me, I can't sit back and continue folding my hands and let her go without doing anything."

"Okay, your highness, I will get her as soon as possible," he said, and he rushed out.

I groanded and closed my eyes to hold in the pain I was feeling. They were all right, I am a horrible and despicable man. I dozed off until Damian knocked at my door.

"Come in Damian," I said, and he walked in with the white witch.

'Long live the Alpha!" She greeted, smiling towards my direction as if she could see me. She was born blind but she sees what even a man with good eyesight can't see.

Damian left immediately to give us the privacy needed, because I was sure she would say body stinging words to me.


'Friya, please I need you to help me find my mate. Please." I was putting back my ego aside to get my aim.

'The one you chased away in your moment of anger though stupid at the same time?" She was blunt. Though it hurts at times, but I prefer hearing the truth than hearing sugar-coated lies from the other witches that were vying for Friya's position as the pack high witch.

'Yes, her," I said gently.

"She's alive, and she is living in the mountain. You can't find her though because a shield is covering her."

"Why? Whose shield?" I asked as I got angered.

"Vampires."

"Vampires? Is she with Kael?"

"No, but he has been seeing her, and trust me he's getting her love because her love for you was crushed by you the day you chased her out. I couldn't believe," Friya said as she brought out an apple and asked me to chew from it.

I hesitated not because I was disgusted or scared of her but I was confused.

'Why do you want me to take it? I don't like apples," I said truthfully.


"Axel, eat and stop asking too much questions, you are pissing me off," she scolded me. I collected it from her and took a bite from it.


Immediately I bit into it, I started hearing Vanessa's tears.

'I hate you so much Axel. You didn't even listen to me. I regret ever meeting you, Axel"

'I will never have anything to do with you. Monster," and so much more.

I fell back into my chair as the weight of her words against me were so heavy, and they pierced into my heart.

When everyone said I was wrong, it didn't hurt as when I heard it from her. I was truly a monster.


'Make it stop!!! I don't want to hear about it again," I growled and Friya snapped her fingers and it stopped.


I Iay down back and closed my eyes, so Vanessa hates me that much. Will she ever love me? But I got more persistent to get her back.

'Will she ever forgive me?" I asked, opening my eyes.

'That I can not tell, but don't worry all will fall in place," Friya said.

'And where can I find her, I need to find her because I'm going crazy already. And I might go down if I don't find her."

Friya laughed out loud and I looked at her like she had gone crazy. Well she was crazy already but I was serious.

'That's the pull of the mate…"

'How did you know we are mates?" I looked at her strangely.

'I know what I'm supposed to know, and back to what I was saying before you rudely interrupted you," Friya said and she scowled at me.

'That's the pull of the mates and you will begin to feel worse soon. And soon, your heart will start getting blocked if you don't find her quickly," she saidz and I looked at her.

"I know all that, I'm bothered in finding her so that she couldn't feel the pain of what I caused," I said, shaking my head.

'You will find her, and that's for sure. Axel look past the appearance and you will find her," she said.

"I don't understand what you are saying, can you explain?" I asked looking at her in confusion.

"No, if I explain it to you, then it would lose it's charm and passion," she said.

'I will be taking my leave now. I'm tired," she said, and disappeared immediately.

I groaned and lay down in frustration.
