I tried listening to the source of the scream, I could tell it wasn't a painful but a fearful one, I hope Adam haven't raised his hands on Rachael



I opened my door as quietly as I could, for me to go out when my head slammed into a wall. 'Why was the wall so close," I thought, as I stood straight, lo, it was Kael standing in my front smiling amusingly.


'Where are you heading to?" He asked with his hands folded and he was trying to suppress his laughter.



"Ummm, somewhere." I didn't want to tell him that I was going to eavesdrop on someone.



'Are you sure? Or are you going to check who screamed?" He asked bringing his head to mine. I was feeling hot all over.


'I was just curious nothing more. I wanted to know if Racheal was hit by Adam because I promise I will use something and hit his head." I said angrily, pursing my lips.


'Calm down feisty mate, he won't do such I am sure of that," he said, arousing my curiosity, how was he sure Adam wouldn't do anything to Racheal when he's a mad man who doesn't care about anything or anyone.



'Quia frater meus est et Rachel est eius coniux. Vampires socios suos numquam laedunt, nihil refert eorum exulceratio," he said, in a language I don't understand.


"How will I know what you are saying when I don't even understand a single bit of it?" I asked frowning my face.


"And that's why I used a language you won't understand, I will write it down if I leave, get a Latin dictionary find the words and get the meaning. It will be quite a fun and adventurous thing to do other than eavesdropping or playing detective," he teased laughing.


'You are being unfair. I'm going inside go away," I said as I went inside immediately. I locked the door and arranged my bed. I went inside the bathroom to take my bath.


I came out with a towel wrapped around my body and head, I saw a Kael sleeping on my bed and I was shocked glancing at the door that was still locked and fastened the same way I left it.


I went to the closet taking my pajamas and ran back into the bathroom to get dressed, coming out after dressing and brushing my hair. I lay on the other side of the bed far away from him after snuggling into my pillow and duvet, Kael pulled me into his chest and smiled. 'So he wasn't sleeping. That means he saw when I ran into the bathroom," I thought as my face turned tomato red.


'Kael what are you doing?" I asked as I was starting to get away from his arms but it seems like his hands were two huge pillars holding me but not suffocating me.


'Shush, let me hold you I have been fantasizing about doing this with my mate for centuries now," he said with his eyes closed.


'But it's not right." I knew it wasn't wrong but I didn't want him to think I'm a free slut.


'Rhea, how will you have such thoughts in your head? You are my mate, and I will never think of you as a slut. Rather, you are my Queen and the part that completes me. Stop having such thoughts or I will kiss it out of your head," he said huskily and I looked at him but he was still closing his eyes.


'Why are you still closing your eyes?" I asked him curiously.


"Because you have been staring at me since you came out of the bathroom, and I want you to look at me till you are filled or you can get filled by me," he said seriously without that I had to slap his arms in embarrassment.


"Why would you say that? You don't have any shame," I said smiling.


'Yes, I'm shameless for you, Love. Do you want to see how shameless I can get?" He said smirking. I wanted to say yes but I was too shy to say so and no way the last thing in my head I wished he could read my thoughts.

'Rhea stop wishing for me to read your thoughts, and I want you to say the Yes with your mouth."


"So if I wish for you to read my thoughts then you can do so?" I asked curiously.


"Yes. But don't do so, I don't want to intrude on your private thoughts," I turned crimson red.

"So do you want to see how shameless I can get?" He asked again. I nodded looking away hoping it won't get serious.

'A nod is not accepted, I want your consent in a word, love," he said, smiling.

'Yes," I said finally trying to catch my breath when I felt him over me, kissing me with hunger and desire in his now opened eyes.

'Kael I can't breathe," I said panting.

'I know and that's exactly what I wanted," he said still kissing my neck. I tried placing my hands on his chest to push him away but he took them and pinned them over my head.

'Stop trying to push me away because even death can't take me away from you," he whispered and blew hot air into my neck making me shudder.

'Don't worry, I will never do something you don't want, I am not Axel, and your feelings and decisions matters a lot to me," he said, melting my heart as he lay down by my side holding me tightly but gentle in his arms. He reminded me of Axel.

"I love you even if you won't say it now but at least don't chase me away, I will be here for eternity holding your hands so you won't stumble. I will never let you go even if you haven't accepted me but you will eventually.

My feelings for Axel was slowly fading away or so I thought.
