RHEA P.O.V

When we went back to the palace and I snicked back to the room I shared with nine other men, I remembered Andrew, and the room he entered, and I tiptoed over there, opening the door slightly. And I was surprised to see it led outside with no doors to go through. I groaned and touched the wall and I fell into it. The musky scent of books greeted me and I ran to a hidden place as quietly as I could.


Walking down the library hallway, I heard rustling and I bent down going towards the noise. Then I saw Andrew pushing a bookshelf, but it wasn't even bulging a bit.

'Why won't this goddamn door open?" He groaned, hiting his fist in the shelf in annoyance.

'Maybe you aren't doing it right. Try pulling instead," another voice said, and I was surprised to see he wasn't alone.


'Stop annoying me Kiara, I have tried pushing, pulling and taking it up but it won't budge a bit. I don't think this is the right place."



'It is, because master said the scroll is in a place filled with knowledge and which place in the palace is filed with knowledge than the royal library."

Oh Adam isn't the only person that's after the scroll, it seems someone else is after Axel's throne, and the only person I could think of was Jason.


'Maybe he made a mistake, his nephew is wise and wouldn't keep something like that carelessly here." Andrew said, confirming it was Jason that sent them.

'So where would we check now? Because there are only letters and normally books in his office and there's absolutely no place with books in the palace again. I'm tired of this fruitless mission." Kiara whined.

"I'm sorry love, but we need the money and once we get it. We would elope far away to the human world." He reassured her. And she smiled lightly.

"Don't worry, it's not your fault. But you need to go back before someone else sees you."

"There's a new guy, and I don't know why but he is looking too real to be a man. Something about him is off, and I can't place my hands on."

"Oh. But is he suspicious…like is he acting like a spy?"

'Oh no. He doesn't, but the Alpha is always looking at him."

"I didn't know the Alpha is a Bi, since when did he find men interesting?" Kiara asked with her eyes popping off their sockets.

'I don't understand too. But I'm trying to investigate more, not for anyone but for my own personal curiosity, and yours too since I have told you," he said, and they laughed together making my lips curled up in a smile.

I moved forward to look at her appearance more and my feet stumble on an iron shelf making a creaking noise and I cursed

' Someone's here. Leave Kiara."

'What about you?" She was looking at him stubbornly.

'Don't worry about me, you are my top priority. Now leave." She groaned before disappearing.


I ran back to the room with my chest heaving wildly like my heart wanted to pop out. Luying down on my bed, I saw Azra coming in with a big smile on his face. I hope he haven't seen me with the Alpha. He tiptoed to his bed beside me as he lay down, I smiled at his childish behavior and I rose tiptoeing to his bed..

'Where have you been? I woke up and I couldn't find you in your bed." He kept quiet closing his eyes since pretending to be asleep.

'It's okay. It's me Gabriel, you don't have to pretend anymore." Immediately he opened his eyes smiling.

"Oh, I thought it was someone else, sorry for that. We will talk tomorrow, forget they are all sleeping, some are still awake and listening to everything that happens around them," he whispered and I gasped.

Going back to my bed, Andrew came looking at my side of the bed but he was surprised to see me in my bed, he thought he's the only wise person in this palace. With my new discovery I was more knee bent in finding the scroll faster and the shape shifting charm was beginning to lose it's effect.

The next morning, all the workers of the palace was summoned to the training ground for an emergency meeting.

I knew why, they noticed that the Library was tampered and they want to know who.

'The library was tampered with yesterday, and the pack's protector noticed it but he haven't told the Alpha yet because I begged him not to else it would be messy for the innocent ones among you.

So to make everything easier, who entered into the palace library and opened the seal?" Evan asked, looking at us with anger. I looked at Andrew and he was looking straight at Evans without flickering a bit.

'So the offender doesn't want to speak up, fine y'all lie down on your back with the males on the left and the females to the right."

We all did as he instructed, I was so furious that I was suffering for Andrew's offence.

'Now do a hundred and fifty pressups for the men. While the ladies are waiting for their own punishment, that's until they are done," he commanded and my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. I have never done a single press up in my life and I was asked to do that amount. I would really get back at Andrew.

The Alpha walked and Evans bowed with the rest of us.

'What did they do?" He asked, with his hands behind his back.

'One of them broke into the Royal library and tampered with the royal seal. So we are trying to get the culprit." His eyes searched across the crowd and when his eyes fell on me, I looked away.

'Gabriel, stand and follow me. Evans continue with your search. My bodyguard was with me last night."
