AXEL'S P.O.V





I was awake on my balcony sitting in a hammock with my eyes closed. The chilly weather was helping to reduce my frustration.





Lost in my pool of thoughts, everything was getting more stressful and the weight was too heavy.





I'm trying to find my lost mate and my uncle with his tantrums on the left. Though my uncle wasn't bothering me as much as Vanessa.




I felt Vanessa again and I stood looking out into the palace surroundings as if I could see her.




While standing and looking out, I heard a piercing scream sounding like Vanessa's and her scent filled my nose and I could feel her. I rushed towards the source of the noise, and it came from my study. What was she doing in my study, and how did she get there? I wondered rushing there.




Her scent was stronger here, and I opened the door, and she was lying on the floor close to the locs with the scroll lying on the other side of the room.




I rushed, putting the scroll back into the locs, I touched her and Lucian growled in happiness and longing.




' Mine!" He said and I smiled.




' Ours!" I repeated, smiling contently. The door opened and Octavia rushed in with the guards on patrol.




She gasped when she saw Vanessa rushing towards her.




'Where did you find her? And why is she lying on the floor?"




'I met her here and that's not the problem. I want to take her to the pack's clinic to make sure she's fine," she nodded. I picked her up and ran to the pack's clinic.




When the doctors and the nurses around saw me with her, they rushed and brought out a stretcher, taking her to the emergency room.




'Don't let anything happen to her else your head will pay for it," I warned, and the doctor on duty gulped.




'I will do my best, Your highness," he said quietly, and he rushed off to the emergency room. I paced up and down the clinic hallway, time was moving slowly, and I decided to go back to the palace and get my room well-prepared for her arrival.




I called three maids, and they came in immediately with their cleaning tools.




'Irene, make sure you get that bathroom more sparkling white and Mary change the bedspreads. I want a new one in purple color because your Luna is coming back, and I want everything to be in place for her."




'Yes, your highness," they chorused. I left the room and went back to the clinic to check up on her."




I went to the doctor's office, opening it without knocking, and he looked up and he stood up.




'Your highness.' He stood up to greet me. I ignored him looking at him questioningly.




'I have big news, but I need to ask you some questions if you can permit it," he said, standing while I sat down on his chair.

'Ask."

'I thought your lady is a human?" Why was he asking such stupid, obvious questions?




'You know she is, don't ask me that, go straight to your diagnosis," I said, angrily.




'Well, Your highness, your lady is not a human, she has the rare silver wolf that has been suppressed, and it was released by the large flow of electrical current."




I stared at him with no expression on my face. Is this doctor really okay? Does he really have a license?




'Are you sure you know what you are doing? She's a human, no detected wolf scent around her, and she can't mind link," I said angrily.




'Your highness, my diagnosis is accurate. If you want, you can check her for yourself. I don't know why we couldn't find her before, but it's now very visible, and she's a powerful one at that. The rare silver wolf is stronger than ten powerful Alpha and I must say her mate is very lucky to have her," he said with his face beaming with a smile.




'You heard him, not only is she very beautiful and smart, but she's also the silver wolf. What more could we ask for?" Lucian said, and I could feel him grinning. I grinned openly, grabbing the attention of the doctor, who smiled back, looming confused.




' I want to see her."




' Sure your highness, but please don't wake her, her wolf is still recuperating." I rolled my eyes. Why would I wake her up when I know she needs rest?




He led the way to the VIP ward she was in, and opening the door, he left, giving us privacy.




I walked to her as quietly as I could, getting to her side. Her silky skin was still flawless and smooth as usual. I wanted to run my hand through her body but I was hesitating since she has a wolf now and she might feel it and wake up.




'Please, I want to touch her, it has been so long since I touched her silky skin."




'But she might wake up. And I don't want her to wake up and see me now."




'Don't worry, she won't wake up," Lucian said, I know he was just saying it so I will do his bidding.




'Fine." I brought my hand up and touched her arms and Lucian purred in esctacy. I was more than happy to be able to see her again and this time I will never let her go. Goosebumps appeared all over her body showing my effect on her, and I smiled.




This is nothing compared to her




' Touch her face please," Lucain said and I shook my head at his pleas.




'No Lucain, that's too much she will notice it." I declined his offer and he growled.




"Why are you scared of her? She won't hurt us and you know that," he argued.




"No, and that's final. Don't talk about it anymore," I cautioned him, and he growled reclining inside and blocking me out much to my advantage.
