That morning, the atmosphere at Dimitri Group's office felt busier than usual. Employees bustled about with stacks of documents, some engaged in serious discussions in the corners of the room. However, for Louis Toreto, what he felt more was the lingering tension between him and Cleopatra since the incident at the boutique yesterday.
They walked side by side toward the meeting room, Cleopatra moving gracefully as always, while Louis occasionally glanced at her.
"So, about yesterday..."
Cleopatra glanced at him briefly, her expression remaining calm. "What about yesterday?"
Louis rubbed the back of his neck, feeling a bit awkward. "About Noah... Are you okay?"
Cleopatra raised an eyebrow, then gave a slight smile. "You're asking as if I'm a fragile woman who needs your protection."
Louis sighed. "That's not what I meant. I just wanted to know if you're okay."
Cleopatra cast him a sidelong glance, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Nothing can ruin my plans, Toreto."
Louis gave a small smile, then looked at her more seriously. "If you need help, I'm here for you."
Cleopatra narrowed her eyes as if studying Louis' expression more deeply. For a moment, her gaze softened slightly. But as usual, she would never allow herself to appear too open.
Instead of responding sincerely, Cleopatra suddenly... tripped!
"Ah!"
Louis was startled, reflexively catching her before she could fall!
However...
His hand landed directly on Cleopatra's chest!
Louis' heart stopped for a moment.
Time seemed to slow down as Cleopatra let out a short breath, her gaze turning more playful.
"Ahh... Louis," she murmured softly, "you're getting bold, aren't you?"
Louis' eyes widened in shock!
"I-I DIDN'T MEAN TO!" he shouted in panic, hurriedly pulling his hand away as if he had just touched burning fire.
Cleopatra looked at him with pure amusement, as if this was exactly the outcome she had hoped for.
"Whatever you say, Toreto."
Louis could only open his mouth, then close it again, not knowing what to say. His face turned beet red, and his breath hitched.
Cleopatra chuckled lightly, thoroughly enjoying his reaction. She smoothed her fingers over her dress as if ensuring there were no creases, then turned and walked toward the meeting room with not a hint of embarrassment.
Louis remained frozen in place.
"Oh my God... Why does this always happen to me?! Why does she always manage to trap me?!"
A few passing employees glanced at Louis in confusion, some even struggling to hold back laughter at his overly obvious panicked expression.
Peter, who had just stepped out of his office, paused upon seeing Louis standing there with a defeated look.
"Bro, are you okay?"
Louis quickly turned to him, his expression an even bigger mess. "N-no! I mean... yes! Oh my God... I fell into her trap again."
Peter raised an eyebrow, then smirked. "Whose trap? Cleo's?"
Louis let out a long sigh. "Who else but her?"
Peter chuckled, then patted Louis on the shoulder. "I told you, didn't I? Cleopatra Thompson isn't a woman you can fight against. She always wins."
Louis ran a hand over his face, still feeling his whole body heat up from the earlier incident. "I feel like my life is getting more dangerous."
Peter burst out laughing. "You should be grateful, bro. There are a lot of men out there who would pay a fortune just to be in your position right now."
Louis scowled. "You can have my position if you want."
Peter laughed even harder. "Thanks, but I still want a peaceful life."
Meanwhile, Cleopatra overheard their conversation from a distance, smiling in satisfaction before stepping into the meeting room. The day had only just begun, and she had already managed to pull Louis deeper into her game.
And the best part? The man couldn't even escape her grasp.
That afternoon, Louis was busy working on the monthly report at his desk. Stacks of documents piled up beside his laptop, while the screen was filled with numbers and graphs he needed to analyze.
However, his mind was still haunted by the morning incident.
Every time he tried to focus, the image of Cleopatra letting out that teasing sigh when he had accidentally touched her chest kept replaying in his head.
"Oh my God, why am I so unlucky today?! First, I accidentally touched her. Now, I have to pretend nothing happened?!"
He let out a long sigh, trying to shake off his thoughts and continue typing on his laptop. But just at that moment—
His phone vibrated on the desk.
The name on the screen made his entire body tense up.
Cleopatra Thompson.
Louis eyed the phone suspiciously, hesitating to answer.
Please, don't let this be another trap... he thought in despair.
But he knew that ignoring a call from his boss would only make things worse. With a heavy heart, he picked up the phone and answered cautiously.
"Hello?"
Cleopatra's voice was calm, but there was a certain commanding tone in it. "Toreto, are you busy tonight?"
Louis cleared his throat, still feeling guilty about this morning's incident. "Uh... yeah, I have some reports to finish..."
"Good." Cleopatra's voice sounded even more satisfied. "Finish them before seven. After that, accompany me for a night out."
Louis jolted in shock!
"Hah?! I didn't say yes!"
On the other end of the phone, Cleopatra smiled dominantly. "You already said 'yes' the moment you picked up my call."
Louis widened his eyes, then stared at his phone as if it had just betrayed him.
"Wait, what?! That doesn't make any sense, Cleo!" he protested, his voice rising slightly.
Cleopatra chuckled, her soft voice sounding more seductive than it should. "Oh, it makes perfect sense. You answered my call, which means you agreed."
Louis ran a frustrated hand over his face. "I picked up because I had no choice!"
Cleopatra giggled. "You always have a choice, Toreto. I just make sure the other options seem irrelevant."
Louis let out a long sigh, staring at his laptop screen filled with numbers and reports.
"I really fell into Cleopatra's trap again... I just want to work in peace! Why do I always end up as the victim of this woman's games—"
Cleopatra interrupted his thoughts. "Are you still there, Toreto? Don't tell me you're looking for an excuse to refuse."
Louis bit his lower lip, desperately trying to find a way out, but he couldn't think of a strong enough reason.
Finally, in a reluctant tone, he said, "...Fine. But just for a little while."
Cleopatra laughed in satisfaction. "Good. I'll pick you up at exactly seven. Don't even think about making me wait."
Louis was still stunned in place, but before he could say anything, Cleopatra's soft voice came through the phone again.
"Oh, and one more thing, Toreto."
Louis swallowed hard. "What?"
Cleopatra sighed lightly. "I really love how you've finally accepted me as your boyfriend. It feels nice to have someone I can trap for life."
Louis choked on his own breath!
"CLEO!" he shouted in panic, but Cleopatra only let out a soft, teasing laugh.
"What? I'm just being honest. You're the man who needs to get used to my way of life, right? And I'll make sure you never escape again, darling."
Louis felt his headache worsening. "Dear God, this woman is seriously dangerous... And I don't know if I can survive."
BEEP.
Cleopatra hung up before Louis had a chance to respond.
Louis stared at his phone screen, still unable to process what had just happened.
Now, he wasn't just trapped as Cleopatra's fake fiancé—he had completely fallen into her game.
That afternoon, the Dimitri Group office was still as busy as ever. The sound of keyboards clicking and employees chatting filled the space. Louis was trying hard to focus on finishing his last report, even though his mind was still haunted by Cleopatra's call from earlier.
"I need to finish this quickly before Cleo drags me into her weird outing. I can't make her wait..."
However, before he could type any further—
BANG!
A pile of documents landed hard on his head!
"Ow! What the hell?!" Louis immediately turned in annoyance, rubbing his head that had just been smacked by thick files.
In front of him, Sarah Harper, the Finance Manager of Dimitri Group, stood with her hands on her hips, her lips curling into a sly smirk.
"Help me finish these reports, Toreto," she said casually. "Or I'll make sure your life in this office gets even harder."
Louis blinked, still in shock mode. "Sarah... Seriously? You almost killed me with these documents."
Sarah chuckled, then perched on the edge of his desk, looking at Louis with a playful expression.
"Oh, don't be so dramatic, Toreto. That was just a little tap."
Louis groaned internally. He knew Sarah was a stubborn woman who didn't take rejection lightly.
Louis: "I actually already have plans..."
Sarah narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms. "I also have a deadline, Toreto. And I don't like irresponsible men."
Louis let out a long sigh. Damn. I can't let this work fall apart. Cleopatra will kill me if she finds out I'm helping another woman, but I also can't ignore my job...
Finally, with a resigned tone, he said, "Alright, I'll help."
Sarah grinned widely, then leaned closer to Louis and whispered in his ear.
"Thanks, Toreto. I'll give you a ‘special reward' after this."
Louis immediately stiffened!
"W-what reward?" he asked, swallowing nervously.
Sarah only gave a mysterious smile before walking away, deliberately swaying her hips longer than usual.
Louis watched her cautiously, feeling like something was very off here.
"Damn, I just walked into another woman's trap..."
He exhaled heavily, realizing that the rest of his day at the office wasn't going to be as smooth as he had hoped.

Night had fallen over the Dimitri Group office. Most employees had gone home, leaving only a few rooms with their lights still on. One of them was Sarah Harper's office.
Inside, Louis sat in front of the desk, his eyes focused on the numbers he needed to finish with Sarah. Meanwhile, Sarah sat across from him, but her attention wasn't on the documents—it was on the man now in her office.
Sarah had just broken up with her boyfriend a week ago, and since then, something had felt empty in her life. Her emotional and physical needs felt neglected, and she hated it.
At first, she hadn't thought much about Louis—the new guy at the company. But office rumors had piqued her interest.
Louis was rumored to be engaged to Cleopatra.
A simple man, who somehow managed to capture Cleopatra Thompson?!
Sarah was curious. Very curious.
If Cleopatra, who was cold and dominant, was interested in this man, then there had to be something special about him.
And tonight, Sarah wanted to find out for herself.
As they worked, Sarah deliberately removed her blazer, revealing her blouse, which was cut lower than usual. The thin fabric made her cleavage more visible, especially with her movements that seemed oh-so-natural.
Louis swallowed, his eyes nearly locking onto the sight before he quickly looked away.
Sarah caught his nervous expression and smirked seductively.
"It's hot in here..." she murmured casually, stretching her body in a way that made her chest even more prominent.
Louis immediately tensed. "Uh... Sarah, your shirt..."
Sarah arched a brow mischievously. "What? Is it bothering you?"
Louis scratched the back of his neck, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. "It's not that... It's just..."
Sarah let out a small laugh, then leaned back in her chair with a satisfied expression. "Or maybe you're the one feeling hot, Louis?"
Louis quickly turned his face away, pretending to be busy with the documents in front of him. This situation was getting more dangerous.
Sarah kept stealing glances at Louis, her lips curling into a naughty smile. While Louis tried to focus, Sarah grew bolder.
With slow movements, she crossed her legs tightly and leaned forward against the desk.
Her gaze on Louis was hungry.
"I need to have this man at least once..."
Louis could feel the intensity of her stare and grew even more nervous. He tried to remain calm, but the atmosphere was spiraling out of control.
Sarah leaned in slightly, her smile becoming wilder.
"Louis..." she whispered, letting her voice drop into a sensual tone. "Are you sure you don't want to stay with me a little longer?"
Louis immediately shook his head. "We... we still need to finish this report, Sarah."
Sarah chuckled but didn't back off. "Oh, of course. But I like men who can multitask."
Louis gritted his teeth, trying to resist the temptation.
He knew Sarah was playing with him. And if he didn't get out of this office soon, he might end up doing something he'd regret later.

The night sky loomed over the city as Cleopatra sat inside her car, her fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel. The neon lights in the basement parking lot cast a cold glow, but not as cold as the expression on Cleopatra's face at that moment.
Louis hadn't shown up.
She glanced at the dashboard clock—it was already over 20 minutes past their agreed time.
Her face darkened, her lips pressing into a thin line. Louis had never been late before, especially when it came to her.
"He dares to break our deal?" she muttered, eyes narrowing.
Running out of patience, she grabbed her phone and immediately dialed Louis' number.
The call rang...
Once. Twice. Three times.
No answer.
Cleopatra's irritation grew. "He dares to ignore my call?"
Her expression turning even darker, she pressed another contact—Peter Moon.
The call connected quickly.
"Boss? You need something?" Peter's voice sounded lazy, accompanied by chewing sounds in the background.
"Peter, where is Louis?!" Cleopatra demanded, her voice filled with tension.
Peter went silent for a few seconds, then cleared his throat. "Uh... you're his girlfriend, why ask me?"
Cleopatra clicked her tongue in irritation.
"If you don't find him in ten minutes, you're losing your job."
Peter instantly choked on his burger!
"HOLY—CLEO! WHY ME?!"
Cleopatra didn't care about his complaints. 'I don't like waiting, Peter. I want you to find out where that man is in less than ten minutes!"
Peter let out a long groan on the other end of the phone, followed by hurried footsteps.
'Alright, alright! I'll find that damn guy! But if it turns out he was just in the bathroom, I'm seriously going to be mad, Boss."
Cleopatra immediately hung up without another word.
She clenched her jaw, staring straight ahead with sharp, piercing eyes. Louis might think he could get away with canceling on her, but he was gravely mistaken.
No one ignored Cleopatra Thompson.
She tapped on her phone again, this time sending a message to Louis.
Darling, if you don't reply in five minutes, you'll face consequences far worse than just my anger.
She hit ‘send' aggressively, then leaned back in her seat, her expression cold enough to freeze hell itself.

Meanwhile, inside Sarah Harper's office…
Louis was still trapped in a dangerous situation.
Sarah, who was deliberately teasing him with her unbuttoned blouse and sultry gaze, moved even closer.
Louis swallowed hard, feeling the temperature in the room rise despite the AC still running.
Sarah smirked, resting one hand on the desk while shifting her body even nearer to him.
'So, Toreto…" she whispered, 'I want to know… what exactly makes Cleopatra so interested in you?"
Louis tried to steady his breathing, refusing to fall into this temptation. 'Sarah, I'm only here to help with your report, nothing more."
Sarah let out a soft chuckle, then casually undid the tie holding her hair up. The scent of her perfume filled the air, making it even harder for Louis to focus.
'Oh, I know that," she murmured. 'But I also want to know something else… Are you truly loyal to Cleopatra?"
Louis immediately tensed.
'That's none of your business, Sarah."
Sarah's eyes gleamed mischievously as she leaned in to whisper near his ear. 'But I'm curious. A man like you, who seems so… well-mannered, must have a more interesting side, don't you?"
Louis instantly stood up, stepping away from the desk. 'I think I should leave."
Sarah sighed, then looked at him with a sharp gaze. 'You know, Louis… Cleopatra might have control over everything, but does she have control over you?"
That statement made Louis' heartbeat quicken.
Before he could respond, his phone suddenly vibrated loudly on the desk.
A message from Cleopatra.
I'm giving you five minutes. If you don't show up, I'll come find you myself.
Louis immediately went pale.
Sarah noticed the drastic change in his expression and chuckled. 'Oh? Looks like you've just been sentenced to death."
Without wasting another second, Louis grabbed his jacket and rushed out of the room.
As he sprinted toward the basement, only one thought ran through his head.
If Cleopatra really comes looking for me, then the real hell is about to begin.

Cleopatra glanced at her watch, then back at her phone.
Four minutes.
She tapped her fingers on the steering wheel in a steady rhythm, her expression growing darker.
Suddenly, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed near her car.
Louis appeared, panting heavily, his face filled with tension.
Cleopatra eyed him sharply before slowly opening the car door and crossing her arms over her chest.
'Explain."
Louis rubbed the back of his neck, trying to come up with a reasonable excuse, but Cleopatra was already leaning forward, her gaze piercing.
'Don't tell me you were busy working, because I know that's a lie."
Louis swallowed hard, feeling the walls closing in on him.
'Get in." Cleopatra's voice was cold and dangerous. 'I want to hear it from you… before I decide what punishment suits you best."
Louis knew this wouldn't end well for him.
And he was completely trapped between two women he couldn't refuse.
