She went outside to have a tour of the company. In the corridor, a big screen was displaying the news about the sunshine entertainment. She felt the name familiar. Carissa glanced at the man speaking about the debut of the girls group. A man flashed in her mind.

Carissa suddenly thought about something. She never saw Dylan again. What Noah did to him she doesn't know and after that day she never saw him again too. She was curious to know what he did to her.


 She was in her own thoughts when someone placed a hand on her shoulder.

"What a pleasant surprise. I thought I was seeing things".

Carissa snapped back to reality, "oh my God. Celeste what are you doing here?"


"I should be the one asking you this question. I never saw you before here."

"I started working here from today." Carissa realized something, "Don't tell me… you work here".


"Yeah".

Both of the girls were so excited to know this. In excitement Carissa hugged her, "I am very happy Celeste."

Celeste also hugged her back, "Me too".

"Come here lets have a chat". Carissa dragged her along with her.

"Why did you stop working with Noah?" Celeste asked her.

"Actually this is my father's company. I started working with him so I can work here later". Carissa thought it would be better to tell Celeste about the purpose of her working here, "But I am working here because I want to own it now". Carissa whispered in her ear.

Celeste did not get her meaning. "If this is your father's company then it is already yours.. why do you want to own it?"

Carissa took a deep breath, "About that I will tell you later. But if I need your help in the future will you help me?"

"Yeah sure. As long as it is not something illegal". Celeste laughed.

Carissa also laughed with her. "I am not a criminal, pretty baby". Carissa flicked her forehead.

"I am waiting for you outside." He said on the phone.

Carissa hurriedly grabbed her bag and ran, "Yeah I am coming".

She saw his customized car and he was standing with his hands in the pocket. He saw her rushing figure, she immediately hugged him. Noah was standing in the dark so they were not visible to others. He was a little surprised, it is rare for her to initiate any intimacy. Noah also hugged her slender waist. "Did something good happen today?" he asked.

"Maybe….."

The cold wind was gushing and he felt her body tremble. Noah frowned and he quickly opened the door. "Its cold outside".

Carissa followed him like an obedient child.

When they were settled he signaled the driver to start driving. "What happened?"

"Do you know Celeste also works here? I am so happy to meet someone familiar. I had fun with her today".

His brows knitted together, Noah pinched her cheek, "I did not send you here to have fun. Work here like a good girl".

"Ouch". He pinched her cheek quite hard, Carissa was now rubbing her aching part of the face.

"Its mean you did not miss me at all?" He was disappointed.

Carissa narrowed her eyes at him. She had to coax him again. She hugged him arm, "Celeste is my friend and you are my husband. Of course I missed you". Finally there was a smile on his face. Carissa pointed her finger at him, "Don't tell me… were you jealous of a girl?"

Noah turned pale, he was caught off guard right now. "I think I need to drag you back. You don't fit to work here". He glared at her.

Carissa laughed at his childish behavior. "Okay. I am sorry".

At night Carissa was very tired. She hugged husky and laid on the bed on her stomach hugging the fluffy body of husky. Noah finished taking shower and saw a sight, he cursed, "HEY". He shouted at her.

Carissa was drowsy, she became scared at his voice. Carissa placed her hand on her chest to calm her heart. "Why are you shouting? You scared me".

He thought husky was his pet but he never let him come into his room, because the fur will stick on the bed and carpet and it irritates him. "Why is he in the room? Husky go away". This time he yelled at the poor dog.

Husky ran away looking at his murderous face. "You are too cruel and heartless Noah".

"Don't bring him in the room again". He commanded.

She made a very pitiful face, "I was playing with him and he followed me inside and now please stop shouting at me". She smirked, "Are you jealous of a dog now?"

His face changed. "Stop dreaming. You are my wife, why would I be jealous of others. and what are you comparing me to a dog now?"

He was angry. She instantly turned the tables around. "No.. No, how can I say such a thing to my master? Forgive your disciple". She touched her ears with her fingers.

He helplessly glanced at her and went outside and made the maid change the bed covers. When the bed was prepared again he finally laid on it.

Carissa speechlessly looked at him and threw a pillow very hard on his face.

At Zak's residence. Jia entered her parents room while stomping her feet. She shouted as soon as she entered, "Dad What's wrong with you? Why did you bring her to the company? I did not go to the office for a day and you completely changed everything". She was furious.

Mrs. Zak was confused. "What are you saying Jia? And in which tone you are talking to your Dad?"

"Mom…. Do you know who Dad has brought to the company?" Mrs. Zak gave her daughter and husband a question mark look. "Dad tell Mom".

Mr. Zak sighed, "Carissa…. But why are you so furious? I can bring her if I want to because she is my daughter. Carissa has every right on my things as much as you have."

Mrs. Zak and Jia went pale. "She doesn't even care whether her father is alive or not. How can you….." Mrs. Zak spoke acting pitifully.

"I don't despise her for this reason. I am the one to be blamed, in the past I never cared for her. I can understand her. But still she is my daughter, my blood. I am the reason to bring her into the world. So please stop talking against her…" Mr. Zak paused and looked at the ladies, "Why are you so concerned about her. You guys also like her. You took a café of her like a mother…. So what's with the sudden change of attitude?"

Actually, Mr. Zak does not know what his wife and daughter has done was Carissa in the past. Carissa tried to talk to him but he never believed her. They acted so lovey dovely with her that he thought she was lying.

Both of them were once again stunned by this serious interrogation. "We are not hating the fact. We are just worried about her." Mrs. Zak tried to appear clean in front of her husband.

"You don't have to be worried about her. She is doing fine. And Jia you…. I hope you will get along with her in the office".

Jia disdainfully looked at her mother and without replying to her father she stormed out of the room.

Mrs. Zak cursed at her daughter in her mind. "She is just surprised. Don't think much of it. You know Jia is depressed about what Noah did to her last time."

Mr. Zak also did not like the way Noah behaved with his precious daughter but he was helpless in this aspect. "I understand".
