The room here was a little smaller than theirs at home, but the interior was almost the same. Carissa was feeling tired, she could not sleep last night and spent the whole day with a sharp headache. Now, she was feeling like all of her energy had been drained.

She jumped on the bed and laid without changing her clothes. "Don't make the bed dirty. Get up". He complained and commanded at once.


"Why are you so obsessed with the hygiene of the bed? You did the same thing last time too". She remembered the incident when he scolded her for taking the husky and he made the maid change the bed sheets.

He was doing it because he does not like seeing her hugging others, whether it is a dog or Harrison. He does not like the fragrance of other people surrounding her. He wants to inhale her scent...... only hers.

Carissa ignored his nagging. He went for a shower. When he came outside just a trouser was hanging on his waist. His upper part was naked.


He closed his eyes to calm himself. "Getting up or should I throw you in the tub?"

She was not sleeping but too lazy to get up. "I am tired Noah, later".


"Want me to make you more tired?" he raised an eyebrow. When Carissa heard his hot threat. She jolted and ran towards the washroom. She was indeed looking very tired and he did not want to wear her out completely. Noah picked up a pair of clothing but did not give her.

He was waiting for her to ask for them. Soon, she shouted from inside, "Noah can you pass me clothes?"

"Why? You don't have to wear them. I don't mind seeing you walking around naked".

Carissa gritted her teeth. Why the hell she ran away without taking clothes, and today is the second time it happened. Of course he is not going to leave his chance of teasing her.

"Noah please I beg you. I am getting cold here". She was begging for the clothes.

His eyes changed instantly, he rushed towards the door and knocked on it, "Open it".

Carissa hid herself behind the door and opened it carefully. She extended her arm to grab the clothes. And like a good child he passed them over. He does not want to see her getting sick just because of a prank. About the rest he can deal with her later.

She came outside, the droplets of water were falling from her hair. Carissa glared at him, "You are very mean today".

He raised his head up from the mobile phone, "I am mean everyday".

"Okay, you win". She raised her hands in the air and started to dry her hair, they were short so she was done within a minute. Carissa came and lay beside him.

Noah locked his phone and turned the lights off. Only the night bulbs were making the room bright with different colors. He hugged her waist and placed his face in her neck.

Carissa was still unsure about his feelings, "You are not angry at me, right?"

"I am". His lips were brushing with her skin.

"I am sorry, I should have thought about your feelings too. Now, it doesn't matter, I will go with your decision, whenever you want to go public with our marriage it's up to you".

She felt his lips curling up into a smile. "I will find the right time to tell your family first".

"Okay".

"Good night, beautiful".

In the morning she is the first one to wake up. Carissa glanced at him, he was sleeping peacefully. Now, she knows he is a light sleeper but she can't get teased all the time. She hovered over his body and sat in his abs. Her weight was not heavy but he woke up. Noah did not open his eyes but adjusted his position to be comfortable.

Carissa moved forward and kissed his neck. He turned away his face to give her more access. It is rare for her to take the initiative so he was going to enjoy it all.

She was kissing his neck the way he did then nibble on his ear, he groaned. Her hands slipped under his shirt and she was touching his abs. She was not kissing him, but teasing him. He was getting impatient.

Noah opened his eyes, grabbed her waist and in one swift motion made her lay on the back. Now, he was on the top. He pinned down her hands over her head. His aura was radiating all the dominance.

But before he could do anything there was a knock on the door that was followed by his mother's voice. "I know you guys must be tired but get up. We are waiting for breakfast". Esme spoke.

"Okay, Mom". She shouted.

His eyes turned into black holes.

She raised an eyebrow like telling him she has won. Noah clenched his teeth and got up from top.

He changed into a casual Jean and a black T-shirt. Meanwhile Carissa also dressed up into a Jeans and a top.

They made their way to the dining table and the family was there.

"Good morning". Carissa spoke.

"Good morning". Hani and Esme said almost at the same time.

Esme was over the moon whenever she saw her family together. But she would always miss her daughter at these moments. Zara is their elder sister. She is married to a royal family so it is difficult for her to meet them casually. When she was getting married Zain opposed it. As he wanted her to keep her life simpler but she let her fate decide her destiny.

Zain had to go to hospital so he ate up and left. At the moment Noah's phone rang. "Okay bring it here, I will check it". He spoke on the phone.

"What is it about?" Mr. Adam whites asked.

"Just some pending urgent matters. I will get them done today". He replied while placing a piece of omelet in his mouth.

"You are going to work again?" Esme was disappointed with her sons. She wanted to spend some time with them but now all of them were leaving.

He looked in the disappointed eye of her mother, "I am sorry."

"Do your work. You are not going to listen anyways".

"Mom, I will spend the day with you". Carissa tried to cheer her up and her mood really changed. "Really. Then let's go shopping today".

Noah looked gratefully at her. At least she did not let his mother leave in sadness and agony.

"Then is it a ladies day today?" Hani asked.

"Of course". Carissa was excited as well because she also spent most of the time alone.

Noah went to study to complete the necessary things and the ladies and twins went out shopping. They spent the whole day moving from one place to another. It was already evening when they got back. Their hands were filled with shopping bags.

The men were sitting in the living room and they were surprised to see their wives. Did they buy a whole mall? Servants immediately grabbed things from them.

"Women….and their shopping". Mr. Adam shook his head in a disbelief.

"It was my first time shopping with my daughter in law. Of course I would shop this much". Esme defended herself.

The twins were tired too. As they were being dragged by them for the whole day. Emma slept as soon as she sat on the couch.

Zain is very possessive of her daughter, when he saw her tired face, his face turned cold too, "Next time don't take them for shopping". He simply placed a ban.

Carissa took a shower and changed into a skirt that was reaching till her knees and a top above. Everyone settled down once again on a dining table for dinner.

Hani and Zain were begging twins to eat as they are very picky eaters. Mr. Adam and Esme were eating while discussing different things.

Carissa felt his hand in her thigh. His face was calm but his hand was ceasing and rubbing her thigh. Carissa felt an electric shock and shivered down her spine.

"What are you doing?" She whispered.

"What you did in the morning". He whispered back.
