Meanwhile, Celeste still hasn't gotten over the shock yet. Her eyes were denying the reality while her heart was yearning for more.

She took a deep breath, "Are you really back?" Celeste confirmed once again, her sense of judgement was numb. She was unable to see what is real and what's not and her hand was trying to touch his back.

"Hmm". He just hummed in response while hugging her tightly and said, "aren't you going to invite me inside?" They were standing on the door, and baby Erin was continuously looking at her parents. Not sure what to do at the moment.

Celeste broke the hug and looked once again in his eyes, telling herself that it is not a dream. "Come inside". She unlocked the door but Edwin took Erin from her arms and held her in his for the first time. She felt so tiny in his arms, and looked at him with curiosity. Erin is not a social baby. She wants her mother all the time and does not like to be with others but surprisingly she did not cry in his embrace.

Edwin froze for a moment. Anyone can tell she is his daughter. He was still carrying her and standing on the door, "Have a seat". Celeste said formally.

His eyes were filled with tears, he did not know what to do, what to say to the 5 months old kid. Baby Erin placed her tiny head on his shoulder like she was comforting her father. Celeste was surprised to see this side of her. With Edwin she was so comfortable, like she knew him for a long time. It did not look like it was their first meeting. Their familiar scents attract each other and the bond of the blood is strong telling them about the ties they have.

He sat on the couch with the baby in his lap who was comfortable with his presence. They were quiet, the atmosphere started to get heavy. Celeste went to the kitchen and came back with a baby formula, "Erin needs to sleep now". She spoke looking everywhere except him.

"Oh". Edwin looked at Erin. He hasn't talked to her yet and all the words that he thought died inside him.

He planted a kiss on her forehead and gave the baby to Celeste. Baby looked really sleepy. She took her to the bedroom leaving him all alone. He was waiting for her patiently. She came back after sometime and asked awkwardly, "Do you want to eat something?"

He glanced at her and shook his head in no, "I want to have a talk with you". He was serious.

Celeste sat on the chair parallel to him, "How are you?" She asked, breaking the silence and initiated the conversation for the first time.

"I am fine. How are you doing?" he asked her back.

"Good". She answered while scratching the back of her ear showing her nervousness.

"I want to apologize....." she cut him in between, "You don't have to". She made him quiet.

"Are you angry at me?" he was nervous.

"No. I am scared of you." She looked in his eyes, "I was getting used to your absence, let's stay like this. Like how we are now". She replied mercilessly.

"What about me? I am still not used to it." Edwin was about to cry.

"You will, in the future". These words were hard to say. She did not look in his eyes. They were glued to the ground.

"Are you taking revenge on me?" this time she was pushing him away like he did in the past.

"I am stating the facts......"

He cut her loudly.

"Liar". He said one word, she clenched the hem of her dress to keep her face straight. Edwin moved forward and pulled her towards himself, in the next second she was sitting in his lap. Celeste tried to stand up but he held her from the waist tightly, "now repeat everything looking in my eyes".

The words stuck in her throat, she felt a lump forming, she could not even look in her eyes.

"I am sorry for making you go through all this. I will respect your every decision, but it will affect our daughter. Let's think of her too. I worked so hard to be with you again. Please... I beg you stop pushing me away. Please".

Tears were falling like pearls from her eyes. He was becoming her weakness which she cannot get rid off.

"Promise me..." she hiccupped, "no matter what you will not leave me alone." she was insecure about him now. The fear of him leaving her was growing more and more.

"I promise". He did not hesitate for a second.

"If you will leave me.... I will never forgive you again", she threatened him.

He chuckled, "Okay". With his fingertips he wiped away her tears, "Did you miss me?" he was curious to know.

She nodded her head in affirmation.

He settled her making her face him, "I did too". He spoke while looking in her eyes, and placed his lips on hers. He really....really missed it so much. Her touch, her fragrance, her existence. Every little thing.

Edwin wanted to get married as soon as possible. His father was happy for them too.

And the next few days passed in the preparation of the wedding. It looked so surreal to them.

And finally the day came.

A beautiful and delicate girl was walking under the loving gazes of people. They  were admiring her beauty generously. She felt nervous and blushed due to too much attention. Ian came to help her in walking down the aisle so she won't feel lonely and nervous. She happily took his hand and started walking towards him in small steps.

Edwin was holding Erin, who was looking at her mother with eyes wide open just like her father.

They were a xerox copy of each other.

Her long tailed gown was perfectly fitted for her body.

Ian gave him her hand, which he took immediately. It was a feeling they have never felt before with a complete family. He looked at her, smiled and creased her cheek with his thumb. "You are looking gorgeous". He whispered in her ear. Celeste under his deep gaze and hot breath which strike with her neck, make her blush more.

"Stop blushing so much". Carissa said from behind bursting their bubble of fantasy. Edwin glared at her.

"I can never get along with him". Carissa complained to her husband who was standing beside her with the same emotionless face.

"That's good. I also don't want you to get close with any men beside me". He said with threatening eyes.

"What the hell.... when you are going to stop being so jealous?"

"Never". He replied plainly.

The officiant started speaking, halting their childish argument. They were going to take their wedding vows.

The Officiant asked, "Do you, Edwin, take Celeste Austin to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." He said immediately without delaying for a second.

The Officiant asked him once again, "Do you promise to love, honour, and cherish her throughout your lives?"

"I do." Edwin said looking in her eyes, which were getting teary.

"Do you promise to respect, comfort, and keep her, in sickness and in health?" Another promise was asked him to make.

"I do." He replied the same, assuring her that the mistakes from the past are not going to be repeated.

"Do you promise to share your joys and sorrows, and forsaking all others, to be faithful to her alone?" The last promise he was going to make, that was witnessed by hundreds of people. "I do." He said, and a droplet of water left her eye.

It was her turn to make vows, the officiant asked her, "Do you, Celeste, take Edwin to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

She did not reply immediately, waited for sometime, and this silence of her was making him anxious, at the moment she saw love and desperation in his eyes, without her knowledge two words came out of her mouth, "I do."

The Official repeated the same vows which he asked him before, "Do you promise to love, honour, and cherish him throughout your lives?"

"I do." This time she did not hesitate.

"Do you promise to respect, comfort, and keep him, in sickness and in health?"

 "I do."

"Do you promise to share your joys and sorrows, and forsaking all others, to be faithful to him alone?"

"I do." The replay was the same each time.

People were looking at them while holding their breaths. They applauded as soon as they were finished making promises for the rest of their lives.

They exchanged their rings, which had their initials engraved on them. The pink diamond was reflecting more in her slender finger.

"You may kiss the bride". It was a final step that was going to tie them forever.

Edwin was still holding Erin, who remained calm throughout the whole ceremony. He looked at his daughter, it was not good to kiss in front of her innocent eyes. He placed his hand on her eyes and covered her mouth with his. He felt her smiling under the kiss. Erin continued wriggling made him cut short.
