SURPRISING HIM
"I see. Someone is super excited, and this isn't about my cock." Darn! 'What happened? You sound so cheerful. I have a hunch that even my sweet cock can't get you that excited."
Shit! Does he have to be so naughty all the time? But, hey, this is a secret. I love him this way. I would frown if our conversation ended in a flat dialogue without him going naughty and dirty.
"Will you quit being an annoying jerk for once?" I'm just joking. I know he knows I like it this way.
Well, he knows just how much he invigorates me, and he takes every single opportunity he gets to taunt me about that.
"It is not my fault that you fell in love with my cock. What's up anyway? Why are you throbbing with ecstasy?" He quizzes.
It's not only your cock that I am in love with, Damian Almeda, but you too. My heart is throbbing for you. Every sense of my being is calling for you. You, and not just a piece of you. The whole of you!
Will he ever realize that?
"Because I am working," I state.
It falls dead silent on his end for a minute, and his voice echoes through the silence. "What? Where? Since when?" He queries, his curiosity getting the better of him.
I smile, feeling satisfied that I have managed to arouse his curiosity. "Since this morning," I mumble with a grin. Too bad he can't see it.
"Wow! That is good news. Congratulations!" He cheers, and I can only imagine the megawatt grin on his face right now and the things going through his head.
"Thank you," I respond.
"You didn't tell me where you were working? What is the job all about?" He asks again.
That, huh! He is anxious. "How about I show you instead?" I tease.
"Mmh. That sounds good. Is it a place where we can sneak in a bathroom for a quickie for the sake of celebration?"
Ooh, men! He is quite something!
I can hear him giggling from the other line. He is so naughty.
"You are such a dickhead," I murmur, hoping that no one overhears me.
"You are turning me into one. This wasn't me before I met you. You have spoiled me," he retorts, discharging a rambunctious chuckle that got me to smirk.
Really now? Even the devil must be laughing at that joke. Me? I could go all surly and dirty on him, but not here. "Are you done with work?" I ask, changing the topic.
"I am about. Honestly, I am exhausted. I had a lot of meetings here and there. Jeez!"
He yawns. "Damian? Have you ever eaten?" I ask, concern kicking in.
I hear a deep sigh through the line. He better not say that he went on an empty stomach the entire day with all the work he had. "I didn't have time. Never mind, though. So, where are you?"
So, he didn't eat? How about a dinner together? At least today he won't end up paying. My new account is loaded. Fully loaded. "Ever heard of Maya's coffee shop?" I ask, my heart warming up to the idea of dinner with him.
"Yes. It is well known all over Mtwapa," he states.
Well, this ought to be much more common than I thought if the one and only Damian Almeda knew about it. "Then bring your sweet ass over here, and don't ask anything. Okay?"
"Okay, baby. And you are going to pay for your dirty, sweet little mouth. You know that, don't you?" He says it in a low, hoarse voice.
"I am ready and waiting, Daddy," I mutter seductively and drop the call.
I peek around the shop as I wait for Grace to bring my coffee. The shop is starting to clear. In an hour, we should be closing for the day, and presumably, within that period, Damian should be getting here. I should order something for us.
Ahem! Ahem!
I turn towards the door, only to collide with the face of Grace. Can I spank this bitch friend of mine? Don't tell me that she was eavesdropping on me. The smugness on her face says everything. She heard my conversation with Damian, and I so want to kill her for this.
She drags herself in, fighting hard, the chuckles threatening to burst out of her mouth. "Apparently, coffee wasn't a good idea. Something chilled would have been a better option," she rumbles, setting my coffee and the piece of white forest cake on the small table.
I furrow my brow, missing her point. "Your point exactly?" I query with a raised eyebrow.
"You seem to be already in heat, boss. You should have taken a soda or something cold to keep yourself calm before he gets here," she settles down again.
I knew it. She was eavesdropping on my dialogue with Damian. She is such... "You are an annoying gossip monger," I state, sipping on my coffee.
She chuckles. "Only for the juice stuff. When can I meet that hot alpha male who has beguiled you like this?" She asks, and now I don't think I want her to meet him.
She is just too open-mouthed and nosy. "Definitely not today, if that is what you are expecting," she says, rolling her round eyes. "Why don't you introduce me to that Jake dude of yours first?" I say.
"I will, very soon," she says, narrowing her eyes, and her mouth falls ajar, confusing me so much that I even forgot to swallow my coffee. 'Shit! That reminds me," she says, staring at her wristwatch with a wrinkly face.
What is with her now? She is full of so much drama, you know. "What?" I ask, wondering what she is up to.
"He is coming to my house today. We have not seen each other in two weeks because he was in Nairobi for some work," She says as she springs to her feet in haste. 'God, I miss him like fuck!"
I narrow my eyes at her, but woe unto me, because everything is on that imaginary guy. She cannot see how shocked I am because all her senses have fled out of the window to welcome him.
