DAMIAN'S POV

Ellie was right about this disgusting woman. I didn't have to do anything. Not even a whistle or any slight gesture was needed at all. She brought her stuff here and even started these useless conversations. It has been barely hours since I have known this woman, and all I can feel for her is hatred and pity. She is all that my wife described, even worse.

"So, why did you rush the marriage? I mean, you threw away the chance to enjoy life and try other fish in the sea. Was it all worth it?" She asks, placing one leg on top of the other, her dress riding up pretty high, I would say.

An obvious move that makes me want to drag her out of my office and throw her out of the cold like garbage, but then the thought of Ellie and how all this shit is important to her makes me glue my ass on this chair and suppress my disinterests.

I never would have considered doing this kind of suffocating shit for anyone in the world, but for my wife, for my beloved wife, I will swallow my pride and ego if need be only for her.

"Hey, cutie! It's an insult for a guy to zone out in front of a pretty hot girl, you know." She snaps my mind.

If pretty means mannerless and shameless, and if hot means being almost naked, then she fucking got it. Her two up buttons are open, exposing her huge boobs, and more than half of her thighs are exposed. I can even tell she is wearing a black bra. She really is determined to get screwed! Yuck! She has nothing on my Ellie, and since I have seen enough of her disgusting body so far, I think I should get down to the business that brought her here. She is really a fool to think that my wife wanted her here.

"Care for some drinks?" I ask, acting nice as I reach for the phone.

"Sure, we do. Something strong." She responds.

I order a whiskey that doesn't take long to arrive, but in that short time, the blonde babe is seated on my table, one leg on her chair. You don't want to imagine the stupid stories she is feeding me.

I pour the whiskey, and she gulps it like she is taking pure water. Ellie once called me a heavy drinker, but I doubt I'm worse than this bitch.

"So, Dam? After drinks, what next?"

Dam? What sort of name is that? First, it was cute; now this? I should probably chase her out of my office now since the glass is seated before me.

"After drinks, we go home." I respond.

"Naah, dude. That's where you are wrong." She tries to stand, but she lurches backwards, falling on my lap, and she grabs the chance to stare into my eyes, licking her lips that don't reveal anything. "I wonder what these beautiful eyes will arouse in me when I'm sprawled on this table beneath you." She pulls herself up, standing between my legs.

She is going insane now.

"What on hell are you doing?" I ask, springing to my feet and standing a distance from her.

"I know you want this. And I do too. This is what all men want, right? And all of us women want the same thing."

I ran to her and grabbed her hands before she went any further.

"I don't want this, Nelly." I groan so that she understands.

"That's what you all say." She grabs my tie, pulling me to her, and accidentally, our lips crush, but I can pull away as soon as possible. "Stop resisting. I know you want this. I am better than that witch you have for a wife."

Damn! Anything, I can bear, but not her insulting my wife after everything they have made her go through. I grab the bee by the colour and pull her to her feet. She twitches!

"Better watch your mouth, Nelly, and keep my wife's name out of our mouth; are we clear?"

She smirks.

I let her take my hands off me before I struggled with her.

"Why? You love her that much? Someone who hated you like a dog?" She yells.

"That was before; now she loves me, and I love her more."

"No. It's a lie. You can not love her. She can't be loved. But then, if you say you love her, then you can love me too."

"Even if you take off all your clothes, Nelly, I won't even think of touching you. Aren't you ashamed? Ellie is basically your sister."

"She isn't my sister! Me and that b*tch can never be related. She has brought nothing but misery into my life. She took away everything, including the love of the person who was a father figure to me."

"Father figure?" I curiously ask, taking a step towards her. "But he wasn't your father?" I add.

"He wasn't, and that's known all over the nation. Or maybe he was. I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know? I mean, you had all the reasons to know the identity of the man who brought you to this world. Didn't your mother tell you anything?" I ask her.

"That's the misery. She never did. And when I asked Mr. Riccaford if I was his daughter, he said only my mother had the answers to my questions."

"I see. But your hatred for Ellis is unwarranted."

"I have all the rights to detest that woman! I hate her too much and would hurt her every chance I get every damn time!"

"But why?"

"You really want to know?" She asks, wearing a mischievous grin.

"I do. I mean, I am her husband, so everything about her interests me." I respond.

"Ooh, poor you! I hope you won't suffer the same fate as her. It will be such a pity."

That got me super curious. Her fate? What is my wife fated to?

"What are you talking about?"

"What are you willing to do to find out the answers to all of your stupid wife's questions? I know you love her, and you are willing to do anything for her. But I have a bid, and I promise you, Dam, you will thank me after," she says, and I get super curious.

She seems to hold crucial information. Deep and dark secrets that might serve as weapons to end all this so that Ellie and I can live in peace. But her price worries me. I know bitches of her kind, you know.

'What do you want?" I find myself asking without even thinking.
