Because of a few words from his true love, Ethan Carter suspected I'd cast a love spell on him.
I desperately denied it, but he refused to believe me.

"I despise those who use underhanded tricks to control me!"
Determined to force my confession, he deliberately sent me to a criminal's bed.
And live-streamed the entire ordeal.
Behind a locked door, he and his true love watched calmly as I faced the criminal.
"Not using your magic yet? Cast it! Make him love you, control him!"

I trembled in fear. His true love was right—I could cast spells.
But my ability vanished when I got pregnant.
As the criminal pinned me down, tears streamed. I stared at the camera, begging Ethan to save me.
But after a night of brutality, the door never opened.

The next day, barely alive on a stretcher, I learned my husband had been drunk with his love, off at a hotel.
After learning I'd miscarried, I left a divorce agreement and walked away.
......
When the criminal's weight crushed down on me, a searing pain tore through my abdomen.
Ethan didn't know I was pregnant with his child.
Tears filled my eyes. With all my strength, I screamed, "Ethan! I'm pregnant—you can't do this to me!"
But all I heard was the door locking.
And a man's heavy breathing behind me.
My heart sank.
"Anna Jordan, I give you one last chance. Will you admit it or not?"
Ethan's cold voice crackled clearly through the monitor.
I gritted my teeth and said stubbornly: "I never cast any spell on you! Ethan, don't you trust me at all?"
Thinking of how he trusted Clara made my heart ache.
My vision blurred, but I fought back tears.
Ethan was silent for a moment.
Then Clara's syrupy voice chimed in, "Anna, there's no point in denying it now. It's awful to be deceived. If you truly love Ethan, prove it to him."
I snapped, "I told you, I never used any spell—certainly not a love spell!"
Beyond the wall, Clara's voice flinched, startled.
"Enough, Anna! Why are you still being so willful?"
Anger laced Ethan's voice as he spoke again. I felt utterly desolate.
After everything, he still didn't believe me!
Knowing I could rely on no one but myself, I said nothing more. Gritting my teeth, I flipped over and threw a fierce punch at the criminal holding me.
As he reeled, I scrambled to the door, yanking it. After several tries, I despaired—it wouldn't budge!
"You damn bitch!"
The criminal snarled, cursing as he advanced.

Despair grew, my body shaking.
As he reached for me, I screamed at the corner camera.
"Ethan! Save me!"
But Ethan's cold laugh came,"Save you? Admit you cast the love spell."
Admit something I didn't do? Never.
"Ethan! How many times must I say it? I didn't do it!"
"We were truly in love…"
Thinking of the Ethan who once cherished me, I broke down, sobbing loudly.
The man who panicked over a paper cut—how did he become this?
After a long silence, Ethan's low voice came again.
"Anna, stop lying."
"I don't believe you."
His words shut my eyes in despair.
All our shared love lay shattered in that moment.
The criminal tore at my clothes.
He was rough, and I desperately shielded my belly, protecting my child.
Clara's soft voice came through the monitor.
"The livestream's got so many viewers now. Ethan, everyone's asking if Anna will cast the spell."
Live stream?

I stared at the camera, incredulous."You're streaming this?"
No one answered.
My clothes were ripped off, leaving me exposed.
I fought, but the criminal slapped me hard.
Stars burst in my vision, and all my strength has gone.
Clara's soft voice kept whispering in my ear, something about having a drink.
Regret peaked. How I wished I wasn't pregnant!
In my clan, once a woman conceives, her ability to cast any spell vanishes.
I'd summoned every ounce of courage to carry this child for Ethan. I thought it would be the fruit of our love; now it had become a blade that cut me.
As I watched myself about to be violated, despair swept over me and I broke down, sobbing, "Ethan, I admit it! I admit I cast the spell on you! Let me go!"
"And the baby—our baby—will die!"
My voice was so raw, even the criminal paused.
But Ethan stayed silent.
I stared at the door, praying it'd open.
Instead, my body was roughly flipped.
The world froze.
Night passed. When I came to, not a single inch of my body was unbruised. Weakly, I blinked up at the blood pooling beneath me. A searing pain gripped my abdomen—I knew my baby was gone.
